Excellent, detailed review... As always. I often see TCL TVs for sale here in the UK, the price is a steal compared to baby other brands, but they're relatively unknown, good too see that they're capable. Many thanks.

Solid 55" TV. Three weeks ago I got a 65" Hisense A6G tv from Costco, they had it at 350$ and Hisense on the website was providing $100 back dropping the whole purchase to $250. Long story short I ended up returning it because it had shades on the corners, and the blacks where more gray like anything else, plus the remote had a cheap made feeling to the hand. This TCL for $200 on best buy even tho I dropped from 65" to 55" it's stunning. The image, the blacks, the remote quality are on point to me. I highly disagree with one of the UA-cam reviews giving better chance to the A6G from Hisense over this TCL, specially since that model is LED vs QLED. Hope somebody find my comment as useful as this video.

Curious about Google TV. I was between the Roku TCL 5 Series and the Google TV TCL 5 Series. Ended up getting the Roku model since thats what I'm comfortable with (I had the Roku speakers) and it was on clearance during black friday for almost $400 off. I love my 55" TCL 5 Series.

I have the 65 inch TCL Google tv and I have my Apple TV connected as well but I think I’m gonna take my apple tv and connect it to the bedroom tv bcuz that tv’s remote has a big delay when trying to access anything.. great video by the way, I’m gonna have to steal your settings

Do u know if the 98” TCL S5 s class any good just came out recently and there is NOBODY reviewing it not even google ????? Please HELP if u think the it’s a good tv because it’s not qled but just led and on sale for ONLY $2999 for 98” today..$2000 off almost half price thx..
Have you had an opportunity to watch NFL or college football on this and if so how is it?
I considering getting this model or the one right above with 120 HZ but I don't think that I need 120 hertz just for football and not gaming
I may be wrong on this, but to my knowledge football games are not typically recorded in anything above 60 Hz. If that's the case, then a 120Hz TV would basically only benefit you in menu scrolling since you wouldn't be gaming.
@@josiahsage9792 Yeah I picked this up in 65" and its a dream. Football games look great, esp the Amazon TNF in 4k.

got a 6 series i think or is it 5, top model they make and it is really a good tv. amazing picture, speakers are awesome, not really glitchy but i do basic tasks, but motion sucks is my biggest complaint. really sucks, but im assuming all high end ai led tvs motion will suck. my picture is on par with the high end hisense imo but hisense may BARELY edge mine out but tcl wins the feature list and ease of operation i bet.

Google tv is , by far, the worst decisions you can make as an OS for tv.
