I could be going out on a limb, and maybe, just MAYBE I'm crazy for thinking this but I think I heard the reporter distinctly say that the offender ran off, and they haven't caught him yet. Now, I'm no professor or scientist, but when someone says they don't have something it usually means that they can't provide a photo of the thing that they don't have. Call me crazy but I think that's normally how these things work 🤔.

It is in the remote stations during certain hours when people are most likely to be attacked and violated. I'm glad that I don't live in New York. I live in Philadelphia and I refuse to take a bus or ride any form of subway. It has become a public war zone on public transit. I feel sorry for the woman. Her boyfriend deserves life in prison for that.

Update - The man suspected of pushing his 29-year-old girlfriend onto Manhattan subway tracks in front of an oncoming train that resulted in her losing both of her feet has been arrested.
Police said Christian Valdez was arrested late Saturday, roughly 10 hours after he fled the Fulton Street station where he allegedly shoved the woman as a 3 train approached the platform. The woman and her boyfriend were allegedly arguing around 10:30 a.m. when things escalated and he shoved her onto the tracks, police sources said. Medics rushed the woman to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition. MTA sources said the woman lost both of her feet as a result of the train strike. The woman's boyfriend had fled the station, leaving the woman alone. The 35-year-old Brooklyn man was picked up by authorities around 8:30 p.m. on charges of attempted murder and felony assault.

Someone else commented on this in some other video, but it is baffling to me why the police officers in the subway are almost never down on the subway track platforms, they're always at the entrances of the subways! The crimes happen down on the track platforms, not at the entrances!! This baffles the mind! Yes having the police in the subway helps, but in order to prevent crime from happening, they have to actually be present inside of the subway, not just at the entrances!!

It's a fair question to ask....especially if the news reporter up to that point, only told her that the lady was pushed onto an incoming subway by her boyfriend and had yet to reveal further details.
This is absolutely horrific, I hope he gets the maximum possible, and a good deal of jailhouse justice.

The man who pushed the woman onto the subway tracks. His name is Christian Valdez. He fled the scene and was apprehended later at about 9:35 p.m. at the corner of Jay and Willoughby streets in Brooklyn.

The identity of the criminal is known and there were witnesses to this incident. Revealing this would assist in the apprehension so no additional people would be victimized by this person. The fact that none of these things were disclosed gives the impression that the news people are covering up something. Wonder why? 🤨

Caught with her blue pants down. Kathy Hochul must be upset at this moment to hear there was no police presence in the Fulton Street station where a woman in a dispute with her boyfriend was pushed on the tracks, lost her feet. There is no excuse for the absence of officers on that specific platform. None whatsoever. Manhattan is 24 miles long and 1 mile wide that its train stations cannot be covered by police, national guard and state police, in some combination is really impossible. No reason at all except bureaucratic incompetence.
One million NY police officers, national guard detachments and state police, that is a big show of force, three branches of the domestic armed forces of the State of New York and one single act of violence is all it takes to disperse and dismantle the occupation effort. Military solutions are not solutions to a crisis that exists in the family as a social unit in complete ruin.
What's even sadder is that this obviously isn't his first time being violent towards her. There have been so many red flags that she accepted or rationalized before this attack.
