We'll, fire trucks, police, ambulance sirens and gun shots are one thing, but a relentless, gut-piercing noise that digs into your brain is another! 😂 - (speaking from a NYer).
We’ve had very weird noises out here in Texas too. The way these people have described it is exactly what my impression was. We also have had loud BOOMs along with the screeching and humming. I thought it vaguely reminded me of some kind of underground construction, but somehow it seemed to be coming from the sky, even though the sky looked normal.
We had this exact same noise happening in Manchester UK, it could be heard for miles. It turned out to be a resonance in a brise soleil type of feature on top of the Hilton Beetham skyscraper (caused by wind). They eventually fixed it by adding additional structure to it. The noise actually sounded like it was coming through the ground.
@@slawrence2852 ua-cam.com/video/h12GbsLZNjk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=KuRtLy%C3%9CnKe < video or the Beetham singing, it was the feature on top that was causing the noise.
Also in Suffolk UK. It used to be at night. I walked around my home at night trying to locate where it was from. Went away for a week, when I came back, no more noise, thankfully,
When I lived in Japan as a child this particular sound would start at night. It sounded exactly like the sound of the disney logo segment in every older Disney movie. Before the orchestra would start. It would last for hours and my family never mentioned it and since I was a very quiet child I never brought it up either. It's something I've never forgotten.
Tell Disney. They will send their copyright lawyers over, find the source of the sound, and file a copyright infringement lawsuit ASAP to put a stop to it!
I’m experiencing this very frequently. I live in the Northeast suburbs of Chicago, closer to Kenosha, Wisconsin. The sound is very unsettling and eerie. Always late at night.
Yes... Campgrounds can hear them better... Sounds like tunneling maybe since earth core stopped something bad is happening. Love you all. Together humanity and technology can solve anything. Love each other...
In Istanbul, Turkiye, I had the same experience a couple of years ago. It was exactly the same sound. It was so loud that it woke me up at night. Lots of people said that they had heard it too.
I've encountered this noise before as an industrial HVAC technician. We completed an upgrade on a schools boiler plant last year and shortly there after neighbors began to complain about a harmonic hum. It ended up being the exhaust off of the new high efficiency boilers we installed. If the exhaust venting is too short mufflers need to be installed. After the mufflers were installed the noise went away.
Ok. I can agree with that. I worked on school boilers myself for a while...they are massive, so i can see a high efficiency for THAT demand needing an INSANE amount of induced draft for THAT much exhaust...requiring a MONSTER fan. It makes sense that if its not vented properly, or enough, that it WOULD make noise. And, yeah, it can be deafening! NYC? Imagine the size of a boiler for a SKYSCRAPER. Just sayin.
I heard on the joe rogan podcast two months or so ago that they actually turned a machine and pointed it during the c0vid pandemic at new York city and it was meant to cause a reaction in marine life and cause them to get angry some how but this proves the point joe rogan and his guest was making even though I thought they were crazy !!!
It could be 5g emitting programmed frequencies which has effect on human brain and nervous system. Different Frequencies can manipulate and have effects on water, cells and matter. Or a naked guy on his penthouse roof messing with the city and laughing in his sound proof penthouse
I honestly find that fascinating. Makes me wonder if a building was built just right to emit harmonics due to the other noises in the city or something. Gotta get an acoustician on that
This also happened in San Francisco a couple years ago . It occurred after adding a new feature on the Golden Gate bridge. Depending on the direction of the wind and wind speed, the noise would be created which was audible for miles in each direction. It would come and go much like this instance. In this instance, I would think it's possible that this could also be the result of a new architectural feature of sorts on a building or a bridge 🤔. The Golden Gate bridge issue was eventually mitigated after over a year of spooky/eerie sounds heard throughout all of the surrounding cities. The issue gained so much traction that an artist created a musical album with the sounds, which is on Spotify to this day.
@@VirusZero0140 I believe this started in 2020 and has continued, into 2022. The last news article I saw about it was December 2021 when a plan was still being devised to complete a fix. I lived in Alameda right on the bay for most of 2021. I never heard it from there but if you drew a line from where I was, to the bridge, it's about 11 miles. Plus, I was blocked by the city.
We had this in my neighbourhood down town Toronto. I tracked it down personally-right out of my bed at 4 am. I figured it out after several trips and exhaustive research to be a massive air conditioning unit on a rooftop of a condo. Called the fire department and they took it from there. No one knows… but I am the Batman. Be well NY.
That’s interesting I did similar research and I did end up at some building nearby that had some weird machinery going on at night. But I determined it was actually from the factory a few miles away causing the main issues. But it’s just so weird how nobody else heard any of it
This is a worldwide phenomenon. It's also been going on for years. I'd be willing to bet that, at least in the more urban areas, it has something to do with the wind/pressure and the buildings/streets acting like a musical instrument being played. Especially this case.
Possibly. Air travels and circulates all through every crack and crevice and hole and there are tons and tons of networks of tunnels under the city. Literally TONS for conduit and plumbing (call the Mario Brothers!) and subways and utilities and maintenance, etc. Public works. We would have to get a map and pinpoint locations and times but it's likely equipment like the guy said. Maybe even some kind of power washing.
Was out camping and went on a night hike when we heard wind chimes seemingly coming from some nearby bushes. Needless to say, we walked the other way. Later, we decided that it was fairies
Ive heard that in the desert too.. We where walking back from school and had to walk through a Big piece of dessert terrain, and we could here wind chimes.. It was eerie..
I live in a rural area of Texas. One night, I heard that sound when I was outside. It was about 2 AM. I was terrified because it sounded like I was being surrounded by it. My heart was pounding as it went on for about 15 minutes. I froze in fear. It sounded very industrial. I then was able to run to my phone to text my friends who lived in the same neighborhood, but then it stopped.
dude the same exact thing happened to me, i live in rural texas and i hear this sound on and off every few months very very early in the morning (1 to 4 am). it always sounds like it’s coming from the middle of the sky.
@@bloodmaged lots of strange sounds in many cities. I'm not buying that it's a bridge.. and there is all sorts of different noises. Booms, too. Ever since Biden got into office, more and more strange meteorological events have been occurring. Makes you wonder, as Obama was the one who funded HAARP in the first place and Joe is and has always been Obamas little lap dog, so..hmm...🤔
I work as a doorman in a building in kew gardens queens and honestly the same sound is coming from roof of the building I work at. What I have been able to gather Information wise is that there’s a fan on the roof that’s barely working and because it’s forcing itself to work it makes the loud sound. Management doesn’t want to take care of the fan because “it still works and nobody has complained” but it sounds the exact same
Had hanging heat blower unit causing harmonics throughout a building from parking garage. Changed motor, and installed vibration eliminator hangers from ceiling, issue solved. Bean counter management company cried & paid. Gave tip to Local 32-BJ building guys for referral.
you are the only person who gets it but this test wasnt about scooby dooing people. this time they were going for more harmonics and less demonics if that makes sense. if they had it just not as loud it would have put people under a pleasant spell. this is just a theory i have pondered in my musings. stay vigilant!
There is a resonance sound I hear only inside my home in Dallas that comes and goes, usually lasts a few days then silence. It sounds like an idling train, even with noise canceling headphones the sound persists. It’s like a low frequency resonance that seems to emit from the ground. Drives me insane. I went to a friends house several miles outside the city and could hear it there too. Not sure what the hell it is. It’s not my hearing, or some kind of tinnitus, it’s a real sound you can feel. Has to be industrial related.
BROO I JUST HEARD LIKE 2 MINUTES AGO AND I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS TIKTOK ABT THIS SPECIFIC NOISE I JUST HEARD IT IM IN DALLAS RN IT STARTED REALLY LOUD THEN IT FADED UNTIL IT WENT AWAY
That's happened in my city Glasgow in Scotland and it turned out to be a large building that was half made, the wind would travel through it and create this exact kind of noise
I also hear this in the middle of the night. Strange thing is the direction I'm hearing it from is nothing but endless forest for hundreds of miles which I checked with Google maps to see if there is any man made structures in the forest but seen nothing but trees
@@lucidedition8947 You are right, however there's a difference between being lound and deliberately being belligerently ignorant. Just because I live in a city with a lot of people gives them no reason to make my life inconvenient you understand.
Same thing going on in my little town in Michigan. Hard to locate, goes for days, you almost get used to it and it stops only to return a few weeks to months later. Only seems to happen at night and goes till sunrise. At first we suspected steam being vented by one of the paper mills, those mills are no longer open now and the noise still happens. So hard to pinpoint it almost seems to come from all directions at once, no change in volume or tone as you change the direction you face.
It’s most likely a single cable which is very long mooring a crane or some equipment to a building being built. The cable is tight and metal but it has just enough give to swirl in a continuous “jump rope” type style when the wind hits it. When it’s far more quiet at night and the cable equalizes it’s spinning it sustains a constant resonance. It’s wind on a cable when it’s quieter at night !
If I had to guess, it's probably something like a big cistern as part of the sewers and when it drains or fills the displaced air moves through some ventilation piping to make the noise. It's the same principle as air moving through an organ pipe to cause noise. If you've ever worked with big industrial tanks or on a ship with ballast tanks, you know the displaced air moving through pipes can make particular whistles or hums when the fluid is being moved about.
I heard a noise like this but ended up asking the head engineer for a hospital to see the roof and I figured out that was where the sound was coming from. It was a 24/7 medical school so they have ducts for the Labs. He told me the frequency from the fan could be tuned to quiet it. I still have no idea how they didn't notice it until I told them...
Yeah some of that mkultra programming stuff on the masses. Does anyone remember the "this man" phenomenon that was done by the government as a psychological test. There was also another one where everyone was hearing the same womans voice telling them to do certain things. I live about 1 km from a harbour with a number of sailing boats with high masts. Every time when there are storms you would easily hear the vibration sound the wind makes by way of these sailboats, even inside with shut windows. It doesn't need to be very stormy weather to generate the sound. I suspect this could either be from a harbour with many sailboats or from high-rise buildings having large poles or antennas on top of them. Being in a high position means of course it's windier. 🤔
The Hum is here too, but not quite that high pitched.. It didnt start happening until we got the “5th generation of cellular connection.” Mostly heard at night here, but it happens during the day. It’s very aggravating and I have to keep a fan on most of the time..
It happened in Salt Lake City a couple of years ago, turned out to be someone's tight rope they had set up in their back yard 2 feet or so off the ground to practice tight rope walking that was being blown by the wind.
The most logical explanation was how someone said they experienced this in the UK and it turned out to be the wind going by a large building. They then added more to the structure and it fixed it.
I recall, in another state, there was a loud deep humming sound that only 2-3 people on the block would hear throughout the night, and sometimes in the day. No one, and none of the utility companies, nor police, nor firemen knew what it was. So the neighbors who heard it began to look at what they had in common. And what that was was a satellite antenna on their roofs, that was picking up signals from some kind of radar device that a common neighbor, who's house they surrounded, must have had. (A device such as a police radio radar.) But in the case of an entire neighborhood hearing it, it could have to do with either a new cable system, or the wind against metal in a new construction. And the mystery goes on! 🤔
It used to happen in Detroit/Windsor from zug island. I believe it was blast furnaces and other steel manufacturing that caused the sounds. The company did move so maybe this is where they moved to lol

You know now that I look through the comments- I remember it happening when I lived in Wilmington, CA - Port of Los Angeles. Could something be going on in Port Cities globally? Government employees in DC had experiences.
There was a towerblock in Manchester that did this when it was really windy. Turned out to be caused by the sun-shields on the outside being at the perfect spacing to whistle and resonate when the wind passed between it and the building.
I heard this on Long Island this morning at 4AM. It was a lower pitch than this, but so loud it literally made my ears feel painfully full. I thought I was having an aneurysm. I know a lot of people try to pass these Hums of as tinnitus, psychological, or even a mass psychosomatic event but I got a clear recording of it on my phone. My neighbors came outside to see what was going on too. I don’t know what it possibly could have been but it was very unmistakably coming from the sky…and VERY scary to hear out of the blue. Anyone else on LI heard it today?
The Revelation speaks of Trumpets in the last days, but if these are trumpets, I'm sure the mouthpiece of the devil (MSM) will explain it away so you don't change your mind about God and Jesus Christ. It has been ugly around the world in the last few years since the "pan...". But it will get much uglier. Christ is coming to judge. This is your call to Salvation.
Here’s a suggestion. Using a parabolic sound collector, point it in the direction of the strongest signal re the sound. Plot that direction on a plan of the whole city with a line for each reading. Continue detecting and plotting the direction from a multiple of points around the city. Gradually a radial direction should emerge, with some single or general point of origin. This will take a lot of plotting because of echos off hard surfaces around the city, but gradually a source will emerge.
There has to be a team that will actually take action. That's the hard part. Either the community has to do it or by grace the city will actually get to work on it.
My husband and I went hiking one windy day in San Francisco’s Presidio neighborhood. We were surprised to hear a loud hum everywhere. Turned out, it was the Golden Gate Bridge - after it was worked on a few years ago, it would “sing” on windy days. That noise glitch has since been fixed, though. Was something similar done on the Brooklyn Bridge, maybe?
It's been heard around the world for over 10 years now. Heard it one night like 6 years ago. Pretty sure they've got some airship floating around making this noise
San Francisco has the same sound with the new railing slots on the Golden Gate Bridge. When the wind passes through the slots it creates a harmonic hum the resonates throughout The City for miles.
I love how, whenever there's strange noises in different places and at different times, and the events make it to the news stations (so you know the stories get around), no one ever comes forward to let everyone know, "oh, hey, yeah. That was us, guys. We're over here doing this thing in the cities or the suburbs. So, yeah, that was us". Nothing. It's just, "no one knew what it was". And never found out. That's not odd?
Because countless times the sound has been traced to various architectural sources. NY is filled with tunnels, passages and holes. Air is constantly moving through these orifices and it can just be random chance a pipe bent or a muffler on a boiler broke.
@@ohYex is the wind the same speed every day? Or going in the same direction every day? One day someone could be covering the hole making the noise and not even realize it.

I hear a similar sound in my area since maybe two months or so. It's not constant like in this video but the pitch is similar and it's getting louder and quieter like a siren. It always starts at exactly 1:30a.m every night and goes on for around 30 minutes to sometimes almost 2 hours and it's sooo annoying. I also feel like it's getting louder recently. I asked a neighboor and he heard it too but we both can't really compare the sound with anything. I guess what they said in the video with the glass is the most accurate comparison I can think of.
We had someone in the apartment above us with floor fans and they gave me anxiety so bad that I thought i was going to loose my mind! Once I figured out the noise was from upstairs ( after two weeks of no sleep and feeling like I was tortured) I went and bought them new fans that they could place on something elevated. Finally I had my sanity back. 🤦♂️
Sometimes humming frequencies are heard before an earthquake, even minor tremors. Not sure how many people realize this but there is a rather large pool of lava under NY too. Many strange things happening around the world these past few years including so many large sink holes that have now become "normal".
There have been a lot of deep earthquakes setting off trails of shallower ones ever since they did that haarp signal to jupiter. With everything going on with midterms the news didn't cover it much, but there were multiple strong quakes around the world the past month (several this past week). I have heard that there can be a humming sound before, but I've never been through one myself. Didn't know that about the lava under NY - that's scary 😬
I remember hearing a sound like this in the Bronx about 10 or more years ago. I started hearing it around 4 in the morning then it stopped I think around 6 in the morning on a Sunday morning it was still dark outside because it was Fall and you couldn't pinpoint where the sound was coming from, it echoed everywhere, it sound close-by BUT far away at the same time and it wasn't a soft humming. It was really disturbing.

That happened in our city before . My son drove around at night and came to the conclusion it might be building exhaust fans echoing off of surrounding buildings
Yeah I'd bet that's it, a resonance can gain wild amounts of amplitude also if they sync with all the huge windows around. That would also spread the effect and make it hard to pinpoint.
I used to hear this same thing 15 years ago when I lived in Philly. I assumed it was wind blowing into something I could never figure out. Trust me when I say this. It’s never going to stop. Try to figure out when it started and figure out what new structures were put up at that time.
It's the wind that makes the lampposts vibrate. It acts like a metal tuning fork. In any case, in my small town in France, that's it. I was able to verify it.
I lived in an apartment in Bedford, TX and I heard the same humming sound. I wasn’t by a large factory or plant. I noticed it mainly in the colder months. The only thing I could think of that it might’ve been was something to do with heaters. I did live by a strip mall. I decided the sound had to have something to do with that building. That was where I would say it was coming from. It was really hard to pin point an area it resinated from. It was the exact same deep hum. It would come and go.
Wind can cause structures to resonate if the right frequency is hit. Strong enough you can make solid structures like towers, building, metal poles etc wobble even break. Tesla created a small device that worked so good that the police were called after using the device because people described an earthquake happening.
@d Proof: In the Book of Revelation, seven trumpets are sounded, one at a time, to cue apocalyptic events seen by John of Patmos (Revelation 1:9) in his vision (Revelation 1:1). The seven trumpets are sounded by seven angels and the events that follow are described in detail from Revelation Chapters 8 to 11. According to Revelation 8:1-2 the angels sound these trumpets after the breaking of the seventh seal. These seals secured the apocalyptic document held in the right hand of Him who sits on the throne.[1] The trumpets are referred to in Koine Greek as σάλπιγξ (sálpinx, salpinx); this was a straight, narrow bronze tube with a mouthpiece of bone and a bell; they do not resemble modern trumpets. The final three trumpets are sometimes called the "woe trumpets".[2]

We have a similar issue in our town…a pulsing wave of sound being emitted from turbines on the roof of a local manufacturing plant. They finger going around the crystal glass describes it quite nicely. They are “trying” to fix it but it has been nearly 2 years-often keeps me awake at night. Good luck getting to the bottom of the issue. Some neighbors have purchased white noise devices to help them sleep. The wind direction and air density also factor into the intensity of the sound.
I was just leaving a comment about how some of the houses in regular neighborhoods are being used as ventilation houses for the subway system and your wind turbine description sounds like it’s possible one of these as the culprit. I just saw the news segment this week and they were showing how the houses are in regular neighborhoods but they are used for ventilation and some have emergency exits! Normal houses all around, it could be the problem!
They are not trying to fix it as long as profit is involved. The worship of money precludes caring about Human Beings. Whomever profits from the situation is not exposed to it and does not care. That's just where things are anymore. We allow corporations to dictate policy and this is the result. Government should be by and for its Citizens, but we made this problem ourselves and until Profit is removed from Government we will live with this and it WILL get worse until we are nothing but cogs in the machine. YOU can and will be replaced.
This happens a lot in other cities and countries and it is usually mechanical in nature...machinery from a mill or factory miles and miles away etc. I remember watching on tv a house that resonated at 60 Hz and the hum was much louder inside than outside the house. It was a power transformer that was also miles away. Another was a large vacuum pump used to unload ships. Other culprits are diesel generators and steel factories.
Maybe... the sounds are only exclusive to urbanized cities all over the world (London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, etc) ... or, maybe not... it may also be heard in out in the rural country (i.e. Lancaster, PA area and surrounding areas) ... I live in Delaware (not in the Wilmington-Philadelphia area, per se) and ... just this morning (11/15/2022) .... my boyfriend/fiance sent me an audio recording of similar sound ... and i think to myself: Hm.... very interesting 😛🙁🤔
Perhaps they could pinpoint the frequencies, measure how many decibels it is at that specific frequency, and then move around to see where it reads higher. If you had the equipment on multiple vehicles it should be easy to pinpoint the source rather quickly. I’m not sure how much other city noises would interfere, but as they are not a constant, it should be easy to separate those from the constant oscillating hum when looking at the readings.
check one of the high risse buildings. the sound is more than likely coming from one or more of the balconies of one of the high rises. it's useally when wind hits and passes throught the metal frames of the balconies. depends on how the metaal balconies are designed it an make that sound.
Check the wind direction and strength on the days of the sound.. see if there`s any corrolation.. could be something simple like the exact windspeed blowing across or through a `new` building or structure.. possibly.. it`s worth a check 🌸💨
Around this time last year Brooklyn Heights neighborhood had a similar problem. It was finally discovered to be caused by a Bird-X Transonic Pro, a pest-repelling sound machine sitting on a balcony. it's an ultrasonic device, which emits extremely high-pitched sound waves that can travel up to 3,500 feet. The tenant had left it on the anti-rat setting.
Sounds like this is actually what it is they have a kit for 6 miles I think someone set this up around town and turns it on and off either for kill or stop birds and bugs or a trick or something else idk
My dad keeps one of these plugged in his house, and I hear it every time I go in the same room. He says he doesn't hear it. My boyfriend says he can't hear it. Pretty cool to me that so many people heard it in your story, though I know it's not a pleasant experience. My dad's is not any kind of pro version in all fairness.
If this hasnt been solved, here is a bit of help. That type of sound typically comes from an unbalanced industrial fan. The type thats either used in large building ac units or street sweepers. It will continue until the fan breaks or gets serviced. If the blades were properly balanced the frequency would be steady and much quieter

Its tinnitus caused by high blood pressure. I know, i heared the diesel generators everywhere. Im on blood pressure pills for years now and no diesel generators since.
That would drive me insane. Considering when my RO system starts running in the middle of the night while Iam trying to sleep it wakes no matter how deep my sleep is and I can’t fall back asleep until the vibration/humming sound turns off.
@@Nope-s My guess is that it's a rooftop HVAC unit (probably several) with worn-out bearings, they start "whirring" & that sound really travels & echoes between those tall buildings. Would be very easy to inspect & inexpensive to repair.
It’s the buildings. Metal pipes, rails, beams or cables humming from the wind. If it’s new, look at new construction, upgrades or demolition that might have changed the wind pattern through the city.
The Golden Gate Bridge here in San Francisco makes that exact sound on windy days. It’s known to be wind blowing through slats on the bridge. The sound in Brooklyn is perhaps wind glowing through scaffolding - a phenomenon I’ve also heard in SF.
Good example, Mr. Arnold. This could also be due to the high riser buildings in close proximity, coupled with the wind tunnel effect between these high riser building and aging or loosened building rain screen or exterior metal panel system on any one of these high riser building thrown into the mix and this humming noise might be due to happen only when the wind blows… Just a thought.

I DEFINITELY do!

After the mufflers were installed the noise went away.
yeah I agree
Yeah but can you hear an exhaust note over the whole city

It makes sense that if its not vented properly, or enough, that it WOULD make noise. And, yeah, it can be deafening! NYC? Imagine the size of a boiler for a SKYSCRAPER. Just sayin.

I honestly find that fascinating. Makes me wonder if a building was built just right to emit harmonics due to the other noises in the city or something. Gotta get an acoustician on that
That’s what I was thinking
This needs to be on an episode of unsolved mysteries

This is a worldwide phenomenon. It's also been going on for years. I'd be willing to bet that, at least in the more urban areas, it has something to do with the wind/pressure and the buildings/streets acting like a musical instrument being played. Especially this case.
subway vents
Possibly. Air travels and circulates all through every crack and crevice and hole and there are tons and tons of networks of tunnels under the city. Literally TONS for conduit and plumbing (call the Mario Brothers!) and subways and utilities and maintenance, etc. Public works. 🤔

This will take a lot of plotting because of echos off hard surfaces around the city, but gradually a source will emerge.
sounds like a scavenger hunt!
There has to be a team that will actually take action. That's the hard part. Either the community has to do it or by grace the city will actually get to work on it.

With everything going on with midterms the news didn't cover it much, but there were multiple strong quakes around the world the past month (several this past week). I have heard that there can be a humming sound before, but I've never been through one myself. Didn't know that about the lava under NY - that's scary 😬
Sounds lie hell to me☠️🔥
I hope .. Rid that shit hole
In Florida sinkholes are as normal as the average florida man
@@AimeeHope89 there’s lava under everywhere
we had that in our village too a while ago, it turned out to be an underground parking lot ventilation fan that was worn out
I used to have this annoying sound in my house, it was irritating, it just wouldn't stop. I got divorced, nice and quiet now😊
I remember hearing a sound like this in the Bronx about 10 or more years ago.
Yeah! I work overnight shifts and don’t get hom til like 3:30 am and I’m up at 4 experiencing the exact situation 😂
Hahaha,, that's the aliens from afar laughing at you 🤣
Why was it disturbing?
when i was in middle school 8th grade i snuck out with bunch of homies to skate and do drugs we all heard this but thought we was just geeking out 😵💫happened in houston texas 2:36 we all split and went back home idk bout everybody but i still heard it and it was 5 already when i was back home still hearing that shit
I can tell u what it is😊
That happened in our city before .
Similar can also happen with gas/steam pipes, are there still a lot of steam pipes in nyc?
Its the gay people alarm. Only gay people can hear it.

Yo mama, how bout that? 🙃
So why hasn't it been happening for decades?
Sound travels through cold air because its a lot denser. It doesnt have to fight the heat and moisture in the air
Wind can cause structures to resonate if the right frequency is hit. Strong enough you can make solid structures like towers, building, metal poles etc wobble even break. Tesla created a small device that worked so good that the police were called after using the device because people described an earthquake happening.
Some say it is huge generators deep underground, and where you hear it is the outlet vent.
This is in the Bible by the way it’s the angels horns that you will hear from the sky’s.
@d
Proof:
In the Book of Revelation, seven trumpets are sounded, one at a time, to cue apocalyptic events seen by John of Patmos (Revelation 1:9) in his vision (Revelation 1:1).
Sounds like the noise the metal railings make in the wind along the beachfront near where I live.
The noise is the sound of Brooklyn circling the drain.
Being someone whom is abnormal sound sensitive, I feel for these people. Just listening to the sound in the video hurt.

@@stellaq3306 yes it's horrible, I am forced to wear earplugs 24/7, but the hum is so low at 5-40hz, that earplugs won't work well at these frequencies, It's ruining my life... family and people around me don't hear it at all... and I also have loud tinnitus, but even a fork falling to the floor is deafening loud to me... sorry for asking but do you might also happen to be on the autistic spectrum? 60 miles away from NYC and I have heard this exact sound for 4-5 months now around 2-3 am. Keeps me up at night and I am not near a city. WTF is it?
planes passing overhead, but the pitch is changed due cold or hot spot in the sky, it change the pitch every time the sound pass through each layers.
Like they said, it’s resonance. What I’m wondering is what is going to break when the frequency gets too high…
The fact that he said psychological, it came to me psychological warfare.
I'm in Nashville and Im hearing it right now. Started 2hrs ago.
Earplugs!
Buy some earplugs. Problem solved
Gotta he aliens
This happens a lot in other cities and countries and it is usually mechanical in nature...machinery from a mill or factory miles and miles away etc. I remember watching on tv a house that resonated at 60 Hz and the hum was much louder inside than outside the house. It was a power transformer that was also miles away. Another was a large vacuum pump used to unload ships. Other culprits are diesel generators and steel factories.
That sound comes from a bakery
It's the pulse -bruce Willis.
Or, tunnels are being drilled and it’s resonating from the ground.
Maybe... the sounds are only exclusive to urbanized cities all over the world (London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, etc) ... or, maybe not... it may also be heard in out in the rural country (i.e.
But why hasn't the sound come up before now??
It’s the wind rushing between the buildings. Probably caused by one of the new buildings that have gone up recently, this happens in Seattle also.
Someone needs to test the frequency per hertz to see what effects could be resonating with our energy.

That sounds like the most reasonable explanation
That can be easily verified, should the sound never occur on a day without wind.

Very telling that the sound stopped when the investigators came to try to discover it's origins ...
Check the wind direction and strength on the days of the sound.. see if there`s any corrolation.. could be something simple like the exact windspeed blowing across or through a `new` building or structure.. possibly.. it`s worth a check 🌸💨
Sounds like wind being blown through something I’d bet that’s what it is
Why does it sound like this is a relatively new phenomenon then?

Around this time last year Brooklyn Heights neighborhood had a similar problem.
It was finally discovered to be caused by a Bird-X Transonic Pro, a pest-repelling sound machine sitting on a balcony. it's an ultrasonic device, which emits extremely high-pitched sound waves that can travel up to 3,500 feet. The tenant had left it on the anti-rat setting.
Sounds like this is actually what it is they have a kit for 6 miles I think someone set this up around town and turns it on and off either for kill or stop birds and bugs or a trick or something else idk
Sounds like it repells humans at the same time! Smh
It's the sound of the universe vibrating. You know the earth has vibrations, right?
More and more people can hear these sounds.
Ultra pitch frequency can be heard by the human ear and its agonizing.
Legit heard a noise like this, but more sonar like every other night in my backyard. I live on a lake and not the city and I've been living at my home for over 20 years and just started hearing it recently. It's so odd
It's the firmament. The sky has a physical barrier that is probably making these sounds.
There's certain frequencies that can invoke serenity or invoke violence.
Not to mention certain chemicals added to food and water. The nazi's added flouride to the water of the prisoners in the camps to keep them weak and placid.

I was in shock and hard gotten so used to the noise. I know there was other times I haven't heard it but had never been asked to listen for sounds in such a quiet place. I thought the whole world hummed.

When I was 5 I asked my parents when the world got color, in the 1940s or 1950s, because I thought from watching TV programs that were older in black and white was just how the world was before I was born, that at some point life just got color where before everyone lived in a black and white universe. Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️!
Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget!
So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen. ✝️

@@Nope-s My guess is that it's a rooftop HVAC unit (probably several) with worn-out bearings, they start "whirring" & that sound really travels & echoes between those tall buildings. Would be very easy to inspect & inexpensive to repair.
The acoustics of it does not sound like construction. Construction also doesn’t have bass notes either.
Interesting.. I live in NY and the city has a lot of construction happening on every bridge
