Just one thing in 10:38. "I don't expect to be shot out of the sky by pirates" I see that as a lampshade of the writer deciding a cannon can shoot to the cloud, cause it can't happen with the range of the cannonball and the distance from clouds. Very reasonable to find that ridiculous. She is pissed by Peter for his brain-dead out-of-character solution to hide in plain view and a shooting range as well, leading to her brothers getting captured. Don't view that as a character issue given how it should logically work, just a way writer decides to lampshade the issue.
They did a decent job with sympathetic hook? He’s boring! Curella at least was a good movie.
Agree! There's absolutely no need to make Hook sympathetic. Being so frightening and cruel is what makes Hook so memorable. 2003 version did an excellent job while the 2023 one was just boring.
