would love to see a nfs underground 2 remake.. in my oppinion it is still the best nfs they ever made.. also i dont know why they wont bring a nfs without cops.. i freaking hate the cops in nfs.. if i want cops i play gta not nfs..

"Top arcade racers" Features exactly one arcade racer in the whole video, with Burnout 3 also at least being able to make a case for itself... Something isn't arcade just because it isn't sim.
It have a online mode however you need 3 people in the room in order to game start (Idr if private rooms need 3 too) Cuz there is a free demo on PS3 with online(idr if it's available too on Xbox 360)
Theses aren't Arcade racing games. Arcade racing games are literally in the arcade(s) or used to be in arcades. That's what I thought would be reviewed here.
I used to think that way when i heard about arcade games. Now times are changing, so does the arcade genre. In this case the definition of arcade racing games. Arcade racing games often have sophisticated motion simulator arcade cabinets, a simplified physics engine, and short learning time when compared with more realistic racing simulations. Cars can turn sharply without braking or understeer, and the AI rivals are sometimes programmed so they are always near the player with a rubberband effect. Other types of arcade-style games include music games (particularly rhythm games), and mobile and casual games with intuitive controls and short sessions. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcade_video_game#:~:text=The%20term%20%22arcade%20game%22%20can,complex%20thinking%2C%20or%20strategy%20skills.
@@Agus-fw7dl I understand, but as long as there ARE racing games still in arcades, then imo that's the definition of "Arcade" racers. Therefore, I believe the games in this video fall under the category of "Action" racers. Just like any other genre. They don't call dead cells or bayonetta an "Arcade" platformer (like Metal Slug, Elevator Action or the original Mario Bros was back in the day). Games like Dead Cells or Bayonetta are "Action" platformers because they are deeper than a "quick level" concept. Back to the racing games, in summary - "Arcade" racers have a unique difference as they have "quick races" with a heavy emphasis on head-to-head and that's it. There is no story line concept, save states, etc which all the games in this video have. That's why their genre (to me) should be considered "Action" racing games. Perfect example is what Nintendo did with Mario Kart 8 on Wii/Switch vs what it is at the Arcade Mario Kart GP. Arcade is completely stripped down version. In this guy's video, he considers the console Mario Kart an Arcade racer lol...Nintendo already GAVE you the arcade version! We are completely skipping over an "Action" genre here of racing which is what Mario Kart 8 is closer to than an Arcade game.
Burnout 3 Takedown was in a league of it’s own. Pure arcade fun and with crash mode feeling like a seperate equally brilliant game on it’s own.

Surprised I didn't see Gravel in the list. Gravel is one of my favorite arcade racing games.

Ridge Racer (Series) -> All the other arcade racing games.
Change my mind :^)
I can't change your mind as you're talking about personal preference, but I prefer Burnout 3 and Outrun 2.
I really enjoy the early ridge racer games, but for me Daytona USA, Sega Rally and Outrun 2 are all better.
Ridge Racer 7!

'Arcade' now-a-days, just means, 'over-the-top / crazy-fun / not realistic / not a simulation'. They should change the label, but it is what it is.
