One game that I feel should be on the list is Project Gotham Racing 4. I just loved stunting around St Petersburg and London in freeplay mode and just cruising around online with my mates on the XBox 360 lobby. Good old uni days right there.
@@RacingXTV I must have been imagining things and stand corrected if I thought it was open word. I think we probably picked a circuit that had most of the open spaces to be able to do drifts and wheelies and such like. I still think they should have ported over Midnight Club LA onto the next gen, but then again, you've got GTA V for that
About The Crew 2, I really don't mind the grinding. My real worry is happening what happened to its prequel. About LEGO 2K Drive, I don't mind the LEGO theme, which I actually like in real life. But the problem is how they charge for DLCs. Also, I tried playing Test Drive Unlimited (1) other day, but it seems it has some issues in newer systems, like you may crash into invisible traffic.
@@RacingXTV Indeed. I'm already not very into online games, and this happens. Then for me it's a no-no. There are rumours that The Crew 2 will become an offline game when servers are shut down, like what's gonna happen to Forza Horizon 4. I just don't trust much after what they did.
Good games, my guy! I downloaded TDU2 and FUEL since they aren't on steam, haven't had the chance to play them back when they came out, but better late than never, eh?
Midnight Club: Los Angeles and L.A Noire (open world police detective game) is in same place but timeline are different, one is now and 1930 Los Angeles 😊
Its another joy when i can played oldies NFS on my Linux, especially NFS World that back online by Nightriderz community (i recorded a video about that in my channel 😅). Btw uncle.. The WRC guys gonna cry because not single one made to the list.. 😅🎉
I yearn for a game with fh1 physics/scale/progression/energy/speed intensity, fm4/fh1 car selection, fh5 graphics/upgrades/map size, and doesn't need excessive amounts of mods to be good. Where's that at? Where's an actually GOOD TRUE open world car game at?
It could be done, but it's gonna be very expensive due to the licensing of the cars and the development of the open world and physics...the question is, how much are you (and the target audience) are willing to pay?
@@TheCasualSirenEnthusiastThat was a rhetorical question bro... $60-70 is the standard price for today's AAA games...so you're asking for a VERY costly 'niche' game that will be sold for the standard price...well good luck with that
Yeah only around 33. You probably assumed that because of good old nfs games but they were good then. Their drive physics and feel truly not holding out well in 2024.

And this list isn't in any particular order, just so you know.
TDU2 abandonware means now is ok to get it online, for free ?, like on Abandonware specialized forums ?
@@nicolas761 Okay would be a strong word...it's in the gray area tbh. Yeah you can find it in 'special' places if you catch my drift
"Games you must play in 2024." "This comes out in 2025."
LOL that's on me 🤣. But to be fair the prologue is available and it's basically the same game, albeit it tells a different story.
Brother your lists are 10/10
Give PedalVerse a shot - it's all about racing downhill, avoiding crashes, and reaching the top with your high scores.
That's a unique one, thanks for recommending it.

It's not open world if I remember correctly and not available on modern platforms.

The prequel? You mean The Crew 1? Is it being delisted is what you're trying to say? Well with cars licensing, it bounds to happen.

Of course, why wouldn't it run?

Ps2/ps3 ???
This channel focuses only on games that are available on modern platforms, so I don't consider PS2 or PS3 at all
TDU 2 is missing
Bro is blind
Well it comes down to personal taste but apart from FH4 and FH5 nothing on this list worth a download let alone my time.
You must be young then
