The other important thing to ask yourself before fighting is “why?”. Are you fighting for a drake? For a baron? For lane pressure? For xp advantage? Once you start questioning yourself you will improve massively
This is huge actually, its a junglers job to tell his team to disengage since he is keeping watch on the objectives the most. HUGE guide, right on time! Especially with the nature of Solo Queue, team fighting is often discouraged because of its coin flip nature. Armed with knowledge, there'll be slightly less and our games will be better.
just wanted to say it's cool to see some better understanding of the game in general. IDK if yall took anything I've said to heart in the past, but this guide does remind me of a few things I've said on the channel. Particularly, "the other lanes exist solely to create space for me to carry". Another good one is "The comeback mechanic was originally killing the enemy heroes/champions". One of the main reasons it's so hard to come back in this game is because the turrets are so flimsy, easily destroyed, misplaced, severely low attack speed, and extremely low range. If you truly understand how killing the enemy champions is "the only real comeback mechanic in a moba", you'd know how the strength of turrets directly ties into keeping this mechanic in check.
minion strength also plays a big role in the comeback mechanic as well. just saying, that's what it is: killing the enemy champions provides space: ie to push the nexus. Having strong turrets/minions on both sides of the board is supposed to provide space to come back after both getting kills and getting killed.
I needed this guide soo much but i never knew i did, thank you ans i hope you make more guides related to the same subject for its one of the hardest things, i 90% never knw the result of the fight till i see who's still alive in the end of it
The crazy thing about watching this video is that fully gave me an advice on how to finish the campaign on warcraft since i had no idea really how to visualize the best way to position all of my troops, even though i knew how to do it on league of legends... But that example of the chivalry coming from behind and etc... Always just select everyone and attack one targer... when what i really should be doing is fully to organize how they position to walk togehter etc... geez never thought about that! dont even know why...
I think the biggest problem is not knowing when we should leave. Lietrally so many times we get 1 or 2 kills and we are all really low and I am pinging my teammates to back off but they have to go and die and then ping me (i am adc) for not helping them because I was extremely low on health...like why do they not get this

I played a game once as trist oin mid. Our team had loist the early game and I wa the only fed member. My shot-calling and macro managed to get us to a good level by the time in the game where it became really hard to make plays without having huge fights. So, in these fights I did the typical tristana thing, of engaging out of possition enemies, and hitting the rest from far away. The problem was the enemy blitzcrank was really good at holding his abilities because he was the only real peal for the eney carries. And he was deadly with his hooks. So everytime I engaged, I needed to make sure I could one-shot an enemy carry, so our adc was the major source of dmag in the rest of the fight. Basically, the blitz made me die 9 times in that game after going 8/2 in lane, I ended with 12/11.

Can we get a list of champs categorized by if they are engage, disengage or poke? It's sometimes hard to tell. Like, Tristana is obviously engage. But what about Lee Sin? He could go right in and kick someone into his team as engage but he could also disengage in a similar manner and his shields help with that as well. This would be super helpful to have! Even if it's only for paid subscribers, I'd love to have it.
