- My mom and I bought a 1949 Spartan Manor 25 off Craigslist and it needs to be stripped back to bare bones to make it good again. In this first installment, join us as we gut the trailer, get it towed to my house, and start the long refurbishment and remodel process.

I hope this helps you in your own vintage camper trailer remodel journey, and I'll be following up with more how to videos as I progress on this project. Hope you'll tune in! - Навчання та стиль
Also, hoped you tipped that guy well who backed that into your yard what a champ
Yeah that was impressive!
Wow, it was SUCH a wreck when you found it! Glad you had the vision to see the potential! Impressive work!
The outside just looked like it needed a shine. The inside...

Pumped to see this !
Thank you! It's been fun so far and hope you enjoy the videos. :)
Next time you go to Harbor Freight you should get you a magnetic broom. Buy the larger one. They work better.
Ah, probably a good idea to sweep my backyard with that when I'm done!
mmmm asbestos fiberglass insulation! You were smart for wearing the heavy duty mask.
I sure hope it wasn't! I think it has been renovated before so am thinking it was newer insulation, hopefully just fiberglass. But yeah better safe than sorry!
@danielrvilla Good point, it may have been replaced. However, it looks very similar to what our Spartan has, which hasn't been renovated. Fiberglass insulation came out in the 1930's and asbestos was mixed in with it until about 1970. Anyway, enough of that. Really enjoying the project so far!
Oh you have one, too! Is yours in a more livable state? haha Can't wait to get the floor in on this one which will feel like a major milestone.
When you start to replace the floor, you might want to spend the extra cash on marine grade plywood and "elevator bolts."
Yes! Definitely want the added durability of marine grade. I'll have to look up elevator bolts! Thanks for the tip. :)
@upallnightgolf
I like the idea of the marine grade plywood. What's the advantage of the elevator bolts? They look similar to carriage bolts.
@@chitownbangin They set flatter than carriage bolts.
