This is a great video, like something out of a dream. And if this is your place, I wish I were your nieghbor or best friend. Thanks.

    I'm a simple person. I see a cat in a drive-in video, I hit the like button.

Hey! Buddy of mine ran that page and he just got hit with too many copyright claims and what not, so he decided it wasn't worth the trouble. Hopefully you managed to download a couple!

Shady Lane Drive-In That’s too bad. Loved seeing them. Hard to find those nowadays and in such great quality.

This set up is so dope. Been wanting to set something like this up for a few years now, care to share info on the screen and projector you’re using?

Hey! thanks. I have gone through a couple of projectors, as some have died on me. I dont have a set up inside, so I just look for projectors on Kijiji. The one i have now was like 150 bucks and works really well. I think the key is bright lumens. I had a high end 1080p projector that cost me 600 bucks, and it was used. But the lumens were so low that it was hard to see outside. That one died on me, so I found this cheaper one that is 720p, but its twice as bright as the other one. So i would say get something thats at least 720p, with HDMI, and a high lumen count. As for the screen I build it myself. I found some tarp online years ago where its white on one side, and black on the other.
The frame i built using those cheap pieces of wood from Home Depot. The frame and paint was like 30 bucks! I attached it to my shed maybe 5 years ago and has lasted so far through very hot summers, and brutal winters.
I dont have a super fancy sound set up. I just plug the audio from my Bluray player into my portable Bose speaker.
I posted some of the build on my blog if you want some ideas! thelastjohnyontheleft.blogspot.com/2017/04/shady-lane-drive-in-screen.html and thelastjohnyontheleft.blogspot.com/2017/05/crooked-screen-crooked-screen.html.
You'll notice the screen is slightly crooked, and that is because i forgot to measure corner to corner to ensure it was squared. Lesson learned! haha.
      Hope this helps!
