    nice to see a review on these tires! For those looking at this tire, i was talked out of them by my local tire shop and convinced i needed the Maxxis brand. My Maxxis tires are very noisy and have a very blocky feel when slowing to a stop.
    So a comment on why I was looking at these X/T tires. As John points out they run on the skinny side. This is actually the way the tire is designed, where the tread blocking at the top of the tire is pulled in, instead of squared off, there is a reason for this, fender and bumper clearance. If you look at these tires they are designed more for offroad racing like the baja 1000 and are used as such by many racers. Several sxs tires are copies of this tire.
    That being said, because this tire is designed the way it is, you can put a 2.5" leveling kit on a 2015 up f150, and put these tires on the stock 18" wheels, and clear the fender outer and inner, lock to lock. That is why i was looking at these so hard. Plus the price point.
    That being said, you can buy these for around 200 a tire online, so basically the fact that two tire changes in, For what I paid for my Maxxis, I could just order these online, bought a tire changer and ballancer machine, and have an ROI after two times of buying these tires. I will never buy another tire set from a tire store again, I have the space and chinese tire machines are cheap enough, plus with my family and all the rigs we have, it will pay off very quickly.

    They're a decent tire. They wear about like toyos. I've offroaded mine and I was the one guy not slipping, guy asked me why there was no drama on a rock ledge that everyone else slipped and had multiple attempts to get up and I went right up at street pressure with my sway bar connected. If you're looking to save a little money they're definitely a decent choice.

    Great overview. One thing about the tire looking a bit stretched is because even though the tire is a 33x12.5, that 12.5 is the sectional width, which is where the bulge of the tire is. The bead of the tire that mounts to the 12” wide wheel is usually only about 9-10” on a 12.5” wide tire, which is why the tire has to stretch out a bit to seal correctly on the wheel.

    Hi, I have one question for you if you can help? If I put a 20" 0 offset wheel will the stance be equal front to back, or will I need a spacer for the rear to even it with the front? Hope I explained it right, new to the lift game 👍

      They’re the loudest, hardest tires I’ve ever put on a truck. They’re pretty decent in the snow/ice and rain. But holy shit they’re just too damn loud and they wear like crap. I drive an 04 f250 6.0Powerstroke with an aftermarket turbo, 5 inch turbo back exhaust and they’re louder than the exhaust, even at full throttle. They’re ridiculous. I cannot wait to get rid of them.

    • @MrBULLRIDER13
      @MrBULLRIDER13 Рік тому +1

      @@95roadie yes they are literally classified as a mud tire aka hybrid between mud and at tire. And again the only tire I have ever seen get good reviews under a diesel that's a relatively aggressive mud tire. Is that patriot tire that the diesel bros designed. Diesels chew up tires like no tomorrow and any aggressive tire will be loud under a diesel that's just a fact.

Aftermarket rough country control arms made for leveled truck so the ball joint sits correctly and doesn't create extra stress on it. Ehhhh but they are. A hybrid; cross between a mud terrain and an all terrain. Just like a hybrid bike; cross between a road bike and mountain bike. The worst is a Honda Ridgeline; unfortunately still a truck. But all better than guys calling SUVs and Jeeps trucks! If it doesn’t have a bed, nor a truck plate or registration, it’s definitely not a truck.
