Very informative. I wish that you completed the cross section and put all the appropriate colors and also the orientation of the other fault line. Anyways, thanks a lot.
Please, how to do citation in the case of using the geological symbols that have been referred to, whether the colors of geological formations or symbols such as faults and geological distortions
Same here. I got a warning in the 'Log Messages' window. General: WARNING No styles available on DB OGR: WARNING Cannot open .../QGISNA2020_GeologyWorkshop/GeologicSymbology/lithclass.qml.()
After you are done selecting the features you want to add to your layer, right-click and select 'Move to Layer...'. Then choose the layer in which you want to save those features. Check if the changes you just made are correct by turning on/off the layer visibility (Layers panel, eye icon next to the layer name).
@@dianefritz5174 well i guess its not a link, but github.com. the website wont give me access to your information, unless its because i dont have an account. either way i would like to learn how to do geological mapping on QGIS, and i would appreciate any assistance you could give.
@@joshturtle8916 Interesting. It IS a public repo, so if you copy and paste this link, it should work, even if you don't have a github account: github.com/frizatch/2DGeology_in_QGIS (I can see it when I'm not signed in)

Around 1:10:00 I was not able to upload the style into the map. Used random colors instead. Only one alluvium and a few talus "blobs" were colored.
same , have you found a solution for that yet?
