I find it amazing you never referenced the Acts of Vengeance event in Marvel Comics. Doom, Magneto, Kingpin, Red Skull and Mandarin were "supported" by a white suited lackey that turned out to be Loki and manipulated into basically swapping favored targets. Mind you, the Leader had noped out of the whole thing and Magneto was rewritten to have only gone along in order to have a shot at taking down Red Skull for obvious reasons.
Back in the ”Spiderman and his Amazing Friends” series, Spiderman had the help of the X-men to defeat Juggernaut. The finishing tag-team work was Spiderman pulled off his helmet with his webbing and then Professor X made him believe he was paralyzed.
Don't forget about Acts of Vengeance where Marvel had villains swap heroes on purpose leading to X-Men going against the Mandarin which created the Asian Betsy Braddock that was used for decades.
I still love the MC DC crossover and even though the comic was bad I will always love the fact that upon learning how the Punisher thinks and operates the joker became TERRIFIED of him
Luke Cage before he named himself Power Man fought against Doctor Doom between issues 8 & 9 of Luke Cage Hero For Hire. Never run out on a payment from Luke Cage!
I mean it totally makes sense, Marvel and DC take place in massive multi(/omni?)-verses, so it’s only natural that every villain would get the chance to fight a different hero. It isn’t like they’re glued to their corresponding hero. People can freely move and meet other people, so logically it’s inevitable that they meet other heroes. I’d even argue that these “crossovers” (even though they’re not really crossovers since they’re in the same creative universe) are the best part of comics. To me, it feels refreshing taking these villains out of their known environment and placing them in completely new, exciting, unpredictable, uncharted territory
6:40 That's such a Batman way to end things. How convenient that there's a deep pit of concrete just ready and waiting, and that Juggs would just allow himself to be blinded and step right in.
It's a pity Dazzler never became a bigger hero; her powers have incredible potential. I think part of the problem is when she was introduced she came off as a bit whiny and unheroic and that kind of stuck with her image. I feel like she's a character due for a reimagining.
Well there was this one other time joke f'ed with Superman. Mind you, the Leader had noped out of the whole thing and Magneto was rewritten to have only gone along in order to have a shot at taking down Red Skull for obvious reasons.
Ive heard a couple of your videos but This is the video that brought me to subscribe
Some of the writing Marvel has done just makes me think, “If that author isn’t on a list someone not doing their job.”
Back in the ”Spiderman and his Amazing Friends” series, Spiderman had the help of the X-men to defeat Juggernaut.
The finishing tag-team work was Spiderman pulled off his helmet with his webbing and then Professor X made him believe he was paralyzed.
Joker vs Superman (Injustice)
he just wanted "easy mode"
Don't forget about Acts of Vengeance where Marvel had villains swap heroes on purpose leading to X-Men going against the Mandarin which created the Asian Betsy Braddock that was used for decades.
The whole Acts of Vengeance storyline was this very premise
Yeah lol Spider-Man vs. Magneto was probably my fav of that series.
What? No mention of Mysterio screwing with Daredevil? That was a great issue and really deserves some recognition!
I still love the MC DC crossover and even though the comic was bad I will always love the fact that upon learning how the Punisher thinks and operates the joker became TERRIFIED of him
Electro picking a fight with Thor was definitely history’s top ten pranks gone wrong.
Me looking at the thumbnail: me when the bois died to the hero..
Luke Cage fighting Dr. Doom for not paying his $200
6:00 Shattered Dimensions flashbacks
Thank you for bringing up the Daredevil series. Cancelling that show was a crime and true shame. Cox was amazing he IS Daredevil 🤘
I thought Superman and Joker would be the Injustice timeline... Superman really doesn't have Batman's sense of humor.
When did Batman buy a sense of humor?
Cyborg-Superman shifted away from being a Superman antagonist and became a recurring threat in Green Lantern books.
Spider-Man vs Magneto (Spider-man temporarily learns how to fly)
One matchup that should at least get an honorable mention: Flash vs. Cheetah. I just love when the comic put them against each other.

6:13 what kind of "boots" is Spiderman wearing?
Spider-Man Vs Sabretooth

When comics were worth reading.
There were a whole Marvel story arc crossover about this concept - Acts of Vengeance
-100 style points if after that encounter with venom, tony didn't develop a form of weaponized dubstep for his armor(s)
Saints Row 4 has the perfect inspiration for this: The Dubstep Gun
oh right, Venom can't stand high-frequency sounds.
@ he's also vulnerable to extreme temperatures like fire and freezing
ironman already has mini hellfire missiles
My favorite is Stilts-Man versus the Punisher. The only Spider-Man supervillain that Spider-Man never beat gets taken down by a shotgun blast 🤣
Luke Cage before he named himself Power Man fought against Doctor Doom between issues 8 & 9 of Luke Cage Hero For Hire.
Never run out on a payment from Luke Cage!
And it was awesome. "Sweet Christmas!"
"I'm afraid I'll mispronounce it again"
Doesn't stop the rest of WhatCulture
The entire Acts of Vengeance event included villains swapping heroes.
"Frakencastle?" Modern comics make classic characters into some type of satirical middle finger.
6:40 That's such a Batman way to end things. How convenient that there's a deep pit of concrete just ready and waiting, and that Juggs would just allow himself to be blinded and step right in.
Superman: Emperor Joker is amazing
I always liked when Spidey fought Juggernaut. Spidey won of course.
Yall neglected King pin moving from being a spider-man villain to being daredevils main villain
Blackheart was originally a Daredevil villain, then fought Spider-man, then became a regular Ghost Rider nemesis.
@@keepinmahprivacy9754 I swear he was originally spider man than some person took him cause he wasn't being used ( could be wrong )
Imagine Batman defeated many doomsday clones using only with an axe who wiped cities into dust like in BvS but people still call him weak 😂
In one of her early solo comics, Dazzler beat Doctor Doom 1v1.
He kinda-sorta tricked him into murdering his wife and unborn child.... and then Superman more or less used his super strength to punch a gaping hole through the jokers chest cavity viscously murdering him.
He obviously didn't take the murders very well... He apparently didn't get the joke.
The thumbnail got me laughing 😂😂😂
Goblin and Punisher, what kind of wrong choice is that to attempt fighting punisher😂
Green Goblin would destroy Punisher if it was an actual real fight.
Green Goblin does have super strength and healing factor but honestly Punisher could still beat him Frank does use Supervillians tech and has combat training.
@@markmagician2471 so does green goblin, actually the tech that green goblin uses is pretty letal
@@markmagician2471 in Spiderman TAS Punisher fought Harry Osborn as the Green Goblin and Punisher stood no chance at all
