I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce had contingency plans for those plans for defeating himself and his friends. He's the type of guy who has backup plans for his backup plans.
And that’s how the narrative works. The modern media are so obsessed with “evil” Superman because the writers never trust that a very powerful being like Clark could be a force for good. That’s why we got Brightburn, Homelander, Plutonian, Omni-Man and Injustice Superman to the point that general audience root for Lex Luthor (a literal villain) and Batman (a backstabber who’s willing to murder his friends but not the Joker).
i wouldn't say that batman is a backstabber. He's surrounded by countless beings with way more raw power than him. Anybody with that amount of power is deemed a threat. in a world where aliens, mins control, etc., are horrifically common, it's completely reasonable to have a plan if anything ever goes wrong.
EVERYONE: Batman's super paranoid. ME: If I was surrounded by that many superpowered beings every day and lived in a world were mind control and possession were that easy, I'd be planning for dealing with them too. That ain't paranoia; that's just common sense.
@Lövenge Genesis Stop projecting. I'm not worked up, so I don't need to "calm down". Depending on which iteration of Superman you get, he is capable of splitting a planet with a punch.

Batman actually does have a contingency for himself that isn't just relying on the rest of the Justice League. He has a robot that was designed to outmatch him in every way that combs through news 24/7 looking for signs that Batman has killed someone or gone rogue in any way. It's named Failsafe, and in some alternate universe The Penguin tricks Batman into a situation where it looks like he killed him, leading to Failsafe activating and stopping at nothing to kill Batman, even going as far as to kill several other members of the Justice League, including Superman, and does eventually kill Batman

Apparently, the Batman Who Laughs taught us that the Justice League does NOT keep their trophies in check. @JAYDEN HERRERA he is smart but that means jack all with people like the flash whose brain is faster than a super computer. He should be able to think of plans that batman have in less than a second The problem with batman is that to make him win, they nerf every hero he fights
@JAYDEN HERRERA I just used 1 example. Plus what you said back don't even focus on what I was saying. I was talking about when the flash fights batman. Either ways I can give a bunch of examples so again the only thing batman have going for him is plot that the writer gives him cause people like that he is human going against these people
Batman's plans were not to kill, but to incapacitate. Superman has kryptonite, but it has to be carefully balanced as too much exposure, or for too long, can kill him. Wonder Woman's is trapping her in a fight with an equally powerful opponent, potentially with VR. Flash is injuring his leg, and, in the case where a more permanent solution is needed, waist down paralysis. The Manhunter's fire weakness is sometimes physical, sometimes psychological. Either way, coating him in nanites that will burst into flame upon contact with oxygen ensures he cannot do anything on Earth. And as they are nanites, there is likely a way to shut them off if the issue passes. Plastic man's plan didn't involve shattering him, just freezing and storage. Green lantern's just blinds him via hypnotic suggestion or something similar to convince him that he is blind. As for the Joker, why does he need a plan to kill him? He already can beat him half to death on a regular basis, all he would need to do is be more through if death was his intended outcome...

Literally everyone has plot amor in comics. Lex has survived even worse shit done to him and no one brings that up ._. Besides does death really mean anything in the DC universe? It's even less of a consequence than Dragon Ball.
I mean here Green Arrow, I'll make a quick one for you: "Cut off an arm" There, happy? We've planned for when you try to destroy the worlds with arrows.
I *_LOVE_* that Batman didn't made an plan for Green Arrow, because most of his enemies (Penguin, Bane, Mr. Freeze, Joker) are just guys with some sort of weapon, like Green Arrow, so he's very well used to fight guys like that.
Batman: Hey cyborg, can you lend me your arm so I can do some improvement to it. Cyborg: Whatever you say, batman. *Take off arm and gives it to batman*
I think the whole situation with Green Arrow is basically a subtle nod saying that the same tactics that would be used on Batman can be used for Green Arrow as well.
"If you know yourself and your enemy, you need not fear the result of 100 battles. If you know your enemy yet not yourself, for every victory you also suffer a defeat. The cool thing is that you can look up audio for his contingency plans, where he goes over potential ways to beat a rogue JL member. For Green Arrow, he suggests that immobilizing an arm would be enough to get the upper hand
I always love the mental gymnastics required to explain why Barry Allen doesn't solve every problem instantly before anyone even knows there is a problem. He has the ability to rewind time, erase anyone from existence, if he dies... the universe will re-create him from scratch, and is literally the most powerful being in the known timeline ---> Barry has the ability to generate infinite mass & energy and has infinite time to solve any problem... he has a pocket reality where he is a literal god with the ability to create anything... and then can take it with him when he leaves that pocket reality to have it afffect the greater universe... he has omni-foresight (he can precieve the future/past/present at will), omni-presence (he can be anywhere whenever he wants... including multiple places at the same time), Omniscience (he can learn anything whenever he wants... with infinite time to learn and master... he has broken the 4th wall in the comics) and he has omni-potency (he controls a reality that allows him to give himself any power that he wants)... he is a nexus being that exists in all timelines and if he is truely in danger... a future version of himself will go back into the past and save him... let that sink in.
Omniscience isn’t being able to learn anything because theoretically a human without mental limitations could do the same thing & use the internet to keep that knowledge. He also isn’t omnipotent as that’s “all powerful” and going up on things like Mandrakk & Cosmic Armor, or better yet Milkman, shows he isn’t going to be stronger than all of them. Also not every villain is bound by time, or even dimensions themselves.
Time travel in short is a trash. Because like you say. Greatest power is save/load and it makes all the stories and tragedy a joke. Which means from a story telling, this ability should not be available without serious repercussion. Eg: One time use, drastically shortening the lifespan of the user etc. But you should sink one more thing in. The items around us are not designed to be used on the speed that Barry would have to use. He would burn most thing he would try to use...
@@Astroryx so a few things. 1. Barry, he can affect beings with Time Effects that are technically not affected by Time. 2. His mere existence created a universe warping force that did not exist before he gained his powers. He literally created the speed force in universes where it had never existed previously. He can rewind time in an universe where Time Travel is technically NOT possible. 3. Barry can give himself any power he wants while he is in pocket dimension just because he wants it... including full blown Resurrection, Creating Life, Mind, Matter, and Forces (this alone makes him more powerful than several "Gods"). That said, Barry has the ultimate power... he is a writer's crutch... because if they ever want to reboot the DC universe you need a seriously OP character to do it.

Just wanna add that Batman's method to beat Wonder Woman in JL: Doom technically isn't poison. In JL: Doom, Cheetah injected WW with nanomachines that make her perceive everyone else as Cheetah, locking her in constant combat and endangering everyone around her. So it's almost the exact same method as in Tower of Babel.
which was a dumb plan to begin with because it would never occur to her to go somewhere there aren't any people? to try to draw the cheetah after her? or to even question why there are hundreds of cheetahs around? or why most of them are screaming and running for their lives? his contingency for WW was the stupidest.

Comics after WW2 were regulated by the Comics Code, which was started because some people were afraid comics would turn children into ax murderers, commies, Beatles fans, etc. This forced superheroes to become incredibly lame, because comics were being vetted by bored 1950's housewives. Stan Lee and the DEA were the first to break the CC yoke, when the feds asked Lee to promote an anti-drug message in the wildly-popular Spider-Man comics. The CC refused to approve it, but Marvel figured they had higher-level approval, and published it anyway. Once it was shown that people would still buy non-CC comics and not riot, the wall started to crumble and stories fit for people older than 5 began to show up. It probably helped that the generation reading the "safe" comics had grown up to be hippies, draft-dodgers, Beatles fans, and other horrors, so clearly "safe" comics didn't help anything.
Lol the ending is quite an accurate proposition.. I think the one who would ultimately be responsible and who the justice league would likely turn to if batman was to turn evil, would most definitely be Alfred.

When did batman EVER say trust is good?! 🙉🙉🙉
After seeing Omni-Man from 'Invincible', Batman has all rights to have these contingency plans.

Bruh, you telling me if I hop on Twitter and lie, Failsafe will go and kill Batman? 😭
It actually doesn't kill Batman, instead it just sends him to an alternative universe

Batman is the glue for the Justice League. Without him they won’t be so cohesive

Well that is true, IF ONLY BARRY Gains Full Control of his powers which he definitely won't in a Team Up Battles

Since Bruce devised the methods to disable the JL, he also knew how to save them. Though being buried alive by Bane was nice twist, not something he thought about.

The Dark Knights metal series is really cool when it comes to showing how an evil Batman would kill the Justice League members. In Batman Red Death, Batman goes mad from losing everyone he cares about and he goes after Flash to steal his abilities and he catches him by killing all of his rogues and stealing their weapons and abilities and shit. In Batman Devastator he injects himself with Doomsday's DNA and he pummels an evil Superman to death, in Batman Drowned the atlanteans attack and she mutates herself to have gills and shit and kills Aquaman by spearing him through the heart with his own trident. Highly recommend it, there are many more Batmen in the Dark Knights Metal comic series
If they ever make a jusice league show they should build up to tower of babale and in one episode have batman interagate flash rouges ask how captain cold could fight the flash and just write that down, barry doesn't know he is takeing his advice. His anti flash plan should be pay the rouges

Batman is a Tactician, Superman while gifted is a REALLY big hammer
But why is green lantern so underrated in general???
Cause people who write them outside of their comics, has no respect or knowledge of how powerful they really are, so they make them joke characters.
Plus doesn’t help that they have to many Green Lanterns from Earth. They were heading in a good direction by making Kyle a White Lantern and Guy a Red Lantern, then they changed them back to Green Lanterns.
