The highlight for me was seeing the snow right up to the wind shelter that we all know from your summer camping trips. There is so much contrast in your seasons compared to Sydney. Well done to you and Erika for making the most of a sunny day and enjoying a paddle and ice skating. You were lucky to do both sports on the same day. Water and Ice!
Thanks, I get home blind. Most want warm weather, today it was really warm (+7) and sunny. I hade hoped it would stay but it will go back to minus degrees. Was a long winter this year.

I love the way you get out and enjoy conditions which would have me hiding in front of the fire. I have already seen seabirds returning, guillemots and gannets. Geese and swans will be flying overhead very soon.

The sun is always shining down on us. It's the pesky clouds that get in the way 🙂 I agree, siting down for 8 hours and working indoors all week, it's nice to get out in the fresh air and get some exercise on the weekends. Paddleboarding here doesn't start up again until April, so the past few Sundays I have been walking around the harbourside for about 1-2 hours depending on the weather. Today, I spent the day in the garden, cutting the lawn and edges. And feeding and speaking to our local Robin (small red breasted bird). The Sauna cabin looks great 🙂
Yes, that’s true but it doesn’t help me that want the sun to shine on me! Sounds like great time for you and will be better when paddle season starts! Looked the Robin bird up, we also have that one, called Rödhake in Swedish. Have not seen it yet, guess it will come soon. The Sauna cabin was the most interesting thing, maybe it will be something like that one day in our yard.
@@danerik.westerlind I too want the sun to shine on me. I should have been born in the sunny Mediterranean, not in the cloudy UK 🙂 Yeah, Rödhake. Rödhake are seen all throughout the year here. I thought all Swedish homes had sauna's, the the Finns 🙂
@@marksmall8692 well we have a sauna, bastu in Swedish, inside the house. We don’t use it so much, so we might not use the cabin one so much either. Google it, Rödhake will not stay in Sweden during winter.
