For someone who doesn't watch the sheer amount of dramas that this lady does, I think it's a lot easier to look past illogical decisions and plot convenience and bad characterization to have a good time. But if you're extremely familiar with all the common cliches and have seen a lot of similar stories with varied qualities, it's a lot harder to have patience and suspension of disbelief for dramas that take large leaps of logic and accuracy and contrivance. Because you know that there are better productions out there, and you know your own personal tolerance level for camp and quality. I really enjoy avenuex's rants and reviews because I enjoy hearing about other people's tolerance levels, where they draw the line at what will stop them watching something. But everyone is different, and you're allowed to enjoy what others don't. I enjoy certain bad logic but not all, and sometimes a terrible script will throw me off and sometimes it's just the way someone acts or the editing or the pacing. Again, it's different for everyone.
Yes not only that but the cliche about the genres. For example how many wuxia and xianxia dramas they have. For someone who watches too many dramas it could get boring but for all the new c-drama audiences they will be interested since many prefer chinese period dramas beacause of the aesthetics and beautiful sets and styles. Or men in xianxia genres look with ethereal style and flowy wardrobes and many other things for someone who doesn't watch fantasy dramas if I get interested in one andwatch it I won't care at all it could look aesthetically beautiful to me! Since I don't see it in other stuff I watch, but about stupid logic and bad acting no matter what it will always be annoying to me. The thing that her audiences should pay attention to is she reviews these dramas and talks about her opinion as a person who should watch a lot of dramas and it's an overall review. and you can enjoy less if instead of picking your favorite ones of any genre from actors or directors you're interested in, you just watch a lot of them that can get repetitive to you so you get tired of some cliches. that's only annoying for people who watch too many dramas so it's ok for fallowers to hear her reviews and respect it and still enjoy what they're watching, they don't have to quit on what they're like just beacause a UA-camr said it's shitty 😂. Some commercial movies or comedy movies are also bad if we look at them technically but still when we're not in the mood of something serious to engage in we like watching them.

The part about the surgery to change the Princess’ face AND voice is all kinds of WTF??? That sort of thing was unbelievable in the old John Travolta/Nicholas Cage movie Face/Off, it’s even MORE unbelievable in the context of a historical Chinese drama.
Unless I'm decked out in a full Tang outfit, no one should call me overdress anymore 😂 jokes aside, love the outfit and the review.... yes. My brain cells left the building with the walk 😅😅😅
I love listening to your rants ♡ even if I haven't watched the drama - you are super articulate, witty and funny, and I literally can't stop smiling with these videos!! 💌 Thank you!
I actually really enjoyed this drama. Apart from the first 2 eps, the plot just got better and better to the point I am anxious to see what’s next . The male lead just add to the fun and light hearted moment in this drama. I would recommend you to give it a go, it is fun, inspiring and the wit battle is great too
Well, logic aside, this is quite an enjoyable drama. The FL is pretty quick witted and at least she's not a damsel in distress (which is the type of FL i hate the most). While the logic is barely sensible up to eps 18 (the latest i've watched), the plot is still quite good. But you need to put up with everything is set up to lead the plot into one direction (no matter how nonsensible it is). It is forced so that the plot will have a "reason" type. 🤣
Oh, a little addition: some of the side characters do annoy me very much to the extend i just wanna slap their faces and ask them to shut the f up, but at least they're not lead characters so i don't have to put up with them for too long. 😉
What are some examples you think make the plot barely sensible? I am watching the drama too, and while there are some things that a little ehhh but nothing stand out too much and I'm enjoying this drama a lot. Is my brain too small, why do I miss out on what others are complaining about illogical plot 😭
@@hanajames440 well, for instances (spoiler): The FL teacher died bcoz he fell of the cliff trying to pick a supposedly very rare medicine, rite? But she just had to leave that rare medicine on his grave. I was like, what did he die for then? Same thing when she almost died to pick the same flower. She just gave it easily to ML bcoz she knew he wanted to give it to her tomb. Hello? You risked your life to pick it, just to leave it on a grave? Then a few days passed, the ML put the flower on her grave supposedly in 2nd lead's private property (it has all his ancestor graves, so it's his family private graveyard), and they were able to sneak in there easily. Not to mention the flower didn't even wither during this whole period. And then the emperor, despite knowing imperial doctor lied about FL's brother disease he still let her cure him. Like, if he wanted the kid dead, why let someone cure him then? The imperial doctor had done a good job not curing him according to his intention rite? Just why???? Also the plague. People from outside the town could easily enter the town without being discovered. I mean, at the town gate there were always guard standing by and you need to verify your indentity before entering and those guards just let them in? Can't they see those pox? I mean like, everyone saw a glimpse and knew right away and those guards didn't? just wow. Oh, let's not forget that doctor Feng case where a group bandit brought a patient with dislocated leg. He fixed the leg, then they just brought him away (not into his clinic!). I mean, don't you usually need further checkup after a bone dislocation? Usually you'd so worried about the patient that you'd at least ask for pain killer right? You just brought the patient home? And the doctor said himself, the bone was broken (not dislocated, but seeing he only fixed the bone to its place then leave him i'll just take that as dislocation). He didn't castrate him, nor he bandaged his broken leg. Just brought him away. Ah, suit yourself buddy. There were so many more. But oh, well.... I can live with those.
Suspense of disbelief is necessary to a big degree, but I am enjoying this one a lot actually. Currently on ep22 and can't wait to finish it. I like this one far better than Go into your Heart that is also showing right now...
Thanks for the rant, all very good points, I just want to say the whole nonsensical plot you mentioned, regarding her identity change was as a result of them trying to pass the censorship. The novel is a rebirth one, where the princess dies and her soul goes the recently dead miss Jun's body. Clearly they didn't do a good job of rewriting the plot for this part, but the rest, where it follows the novel's plot closely is much much better. Of course the acting, lighting, etc remains as bad ...
@@ines-oc5mw i don’t know the reason🙏 but maybe that rules kinda good too, cause i think 90% of the web novels that i found and read, all involving rebirth or transmigation 😂 and lots of cdramas now adapted from those novels, so u can imagine how it’d be if all have the same beginning 😂
@@ines-oc5mw To answer your question, China bans all forms of reincarnation/transmigration because it disrespects their history as it spreads "misinformation" of historical time periods. Many Chinese dramas have to past censorship meaning it has to not have certain aspects that could twist Chinese history, they're very keen about it, which is why it takes a long time for dramas to air. Time traveling was a very popular genre in Chinese dramas, (Scarlet Heart, for one is an old house drama with elements of transmigration). The whole fantasy of reincarnation/transmigration into a historical setting (whether fictional or nonfictional) allows people to freely change realities, which has negative implications on it as China doesn't want their history to be seen in a frivolous manner. Hence, why any Chinese dramas adapted from Cnovels with those elements have to be revised completely. Fun fact: Princess Weiyoung's novel has reincarnation in it!
If you overlook the fantastical aspects in the laying of plot framework in first 2 episodes, it is actually an enjoyable drama. Jin Han’s character seems a little juvenile at first but gets endearing later & he’s good looking in rugged kinda way. Peng Xiao Ran is very pretty & plays character convincingly (ie the Princess after change of face, voice & even personality 😂). It is amusing on many fronts. Do give it another chance. You might even enjoy it & do a final review. 😁
Throw away logic and it’s a fun love story with a smart female lead and a male lead who is over the top in love and totally lovable . Their chemistry is - chef’s kiss 😘
Despite it's many flaws, i really enjoying this drama. I'm at episode 22. Agree with the FL change of how to deal with things. She go from being hasty, too emotional and sloppy, to being very calm, calculated, and tricky. But overall i love the FL character. How she know what she wants and what she should do. She firmly reject the second male lead and save me from another stupid love triangle. Peng Xiao Ran is so pretty, as always. I love her dress, her hair, her style in this drama. I'm also shock at how rude her servant are. She brings troubles to her lady with her mouth. I actually really like Jin Han acting in this drama. I've watch him as villain and protagonist before, but his characters always have this kind of stiff and cold demeanor. In this drama, he shows many emotions and expressions. Sad, happy, angry, silly, tough, hurt, etc. It's sad that many people saying that they didn't like him in this drama because he is ugly. To enjoy this drama, you have to not mind with logic and not too nitpicking. Don't expect it's like some Nirvana in Fire.
you got farther into this drama than I did. 😂 I think I got about ten minutes into the first episode and was like, "Nope. Not for me." and started watching something else.
Same...when the accusation scenes started... I was like.. Nope, this won't happen. I'm someone equipped with basic IQ. A princess accused an emperor in public...and no one do anything... Yeah, right...
There isn’t such a thing like being overdressed for a rant! Looking you fabulous while commenting on this drama! I love the fan! The emperor is Ming Lan’s dad! I think…
All i have to say is your rant videos are just sooooo therapeutic to me! thank you because you said what i wanted to say when i watched it. I couldn't finish episode 1 and i dropped it.
Main Character syndrome--plots revolves around them even when it makes not logical sense. Like what kind of father lets their daughter be burned to death. >.>
I remember watching this with comments on in viki. There's a scene where they go to cure smallpox?? and the male lead tries the vaccine for the first time (either that or he's poisoned). So basically he's suffering - groaning and writhing in pain. And one of the commenters said "he has a hairy chest". 😂I lost it. People can be hilarious sometimes.
I'm on the opposite where I'm actually enjoying this drama. It's light-hearted at the moment. The female lead is new to me but I've seen the male lead play a villain role previously. I'm enjoying his good guy role in this drama. So far, I'm looking forward to new episodes every day. For Jin Han, he's not your typical eye candy male lead but he plays this character well so he's not too bad to look at. I think both leads character's personalities makes them more attractive. Both are dedicated to saving the people and are righteous so who's not attracted to that??? If you get past all the flaws that makes the plot possible, then you'll be able to enjoy the rest of the story.
2.7 episodes and a rant video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL..... 30 seconds into your video and it already has got me to write a comment!! I love your videos so much!!! You know, when you read the synopsis of a drama and decide that you don't want to go through a migraine of a headache by watching it? This was one of those dramas for me. Even the good-looking male and female lead couldn't make me click open even one episode. I am most probably gonna be disrespectful and watch the last episode to satisfy my curiosity, like I usually do with these type of dramas.
I had put away the will to reason in most of the dramas especially with those time travel and mystical themed plots. Yet this drama I do kinda enjoyed watching because of the female lead. I am on ep 24 and look forward to finishing the whole thing.
Omg! Sounds like this drama deserves a live audience 😂😂😂😂. I would love MST3K to do an episode on this. I can just imagine the hilarity from the comments.
The drama gets better after I would say 5 eps. I can explain why they had to change the face and voice because in the novel the princess's soul goes in Jun Juiling's body. As they can't show the soul change, they had to put in this messy death thing. The servant girl is even more annoying in the novel but the female lead in the novel makes is obvious that she only likes the servant girl because she is overly sweet but she also acknowledges how foolish the servant girl is. I feel bad because the novel is great. From the start to the suspense to the logic. Everything is point on. Everything that was wrong or troublesome about the show was logical in the novel. Though the show is improving as it goes at ep 12 now. To share a *spoiler* In the drama she openly tells her grandmother that Fang family is being attacked by someone close. This is just one or two ep after the Fang family is introduced to her. They even doubted her identity and then just 2 eps later they accept her doubt. In the novel she just hints at things but she never out right told them who to doubt. In the novel she doesn't get attached to Fang family. She only helps them cause it will help her. In the show, she suddenly has affections for this family. Even the scene where they capture the Fang family traitor has much more tension in the novel.
@@_V_G it kind of is. In the novel the princess sympathizes with the Fang family but is not overly emotionally attached to them. It's only partially translated on novelupdates so I couldn't completely read it but I liked the female lead in the book more. She behaves more like a princess.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Hilarious! I agree with everything in this video. I stopped watching this drama after the second episode for the exact same reasons!!! 🤣🤣🤣Thank you for making me laugh out loud. So funny. I also want to thank you for encouraging me to watch Joy of Life, which is excellent!! Looking forward to your next rant. Stay safe 💃🏽
This drama really polarized people. There is maybe something in it that evokes strong feelings? I like it very much. It tis not the first Chinese drama with confusing beginning and story. I personally find many other dramas more deserving the rants and critiques. But I am lucky, I have very good chemistry with FL and ML and watch it like educational comedy. FL is dignified and emotionally very strong, ML is loyal, strong when he has to be and soft when he doesn't' have to be strong. So, as very busy woman over fifty (I've seen a lot) everything is a bit of cliché to me. This is very lovely drama to enjoy at the end of the day. But maybe had i not liked the actors, it would've been different.
Hahaha, when I was watching the show, during the face changing scene, I was actually thinking that "If AvenueX were to watch this show, she will definitely rant abt the logic...." I was right :-)
Ep 1 & 2 are fast introduction. It's better than using monologue, anime, or 10 episodes long. It directly goes to main show, where smart-heroine outwits evil-king, helped by 4 guys who compete for her love. I love the movie fast-pace.
This is what I was waiting for and luckily something ridiculous showed up to make you rant. Made popcorn to watch you Rant and enjoyed every minute of it!😀😀😀
You are right . The beginning sequence is ridiculous and illogical. But the subsequence events are very enjoyable exactly because if the ‘beginning’. This is not the best drama I am watching. However it is good to have in between.
I’m actually enjoying this one a lot especially the ML acting. I was doubting him at first because I have watched his dramas before but he’s a really good actor he plays his character to a T. Overall I really love this drama it has enough suspense to keep you watching and has cute and enjoyable moments too. Obviously is not serious dragging drama like The Rebel Princess or Ryui’s royal love in the place (btw which are dramas I loved) but I would say if you’re looking for something to watch it’s enjoyable and doesn’t drag at all most conflicts that arise get solved in 2 episodes or 3 the most. The Logic ever since I started watching Chinese dramas and Kdrams I threw the logic at the window because knowing dramas they almost never follow any logic. In my opinion that’s what makes it fun because if it was like a real normal every day life I don’t think anyone would watch 🤣.
Come on, since when is a fantasy drama suppose to be logical? So many dramas have humans flying - how logical is that? But no one's complaining. I didn't like the first couple of episodes too but apart from those, it's been an exciting watch. The FL is very inspiring.
A super dead ringer in your review, description!!! Actually, even though you cleared up a few situations from the opening episodes, My struggles for comprehension will end here and now! The maid, or whatever her title is - you totally confirmed my assessment of her portrayal!! Oh wow, oh wow - how could this drama ever passed ’muster’ or permission to even be cast!!!
Honestly, you're 100% right about the first few episodes. It was so weird that I decided to watch the fourth ep just to try and understand where it was heading, and I have to say it improved a lot. I don't know what the director was thinking with those first few eps. They were so illogical. Also the FL is way too perfect as a character. The kindest, most intelligent, most beautiful person in the entire country apparently with every guy falling for her. Not a single flaw. That being said, I like that she isn't so kind that she's a helpless pushover like in so many dramas. She actually stands up for herself. Some of the storylines when the FL is a doctor are actually pretty interesting and can definitely get you hooked.
When you haven't even watched the drama but almost feel like you need to watch the terrible plot line, just so you can imagine AvenueX ranting about each scene as you come upon it...this video seriously made me laugh!
omg! I had a giggle with your intro! LOL I agree, it's definitely a slow plot, but I'm currently on episode 22 and it's ok to some degree. I found myself skipping some parts and at this point I'm only curious to find out what happens which is what is keeping me going.
I think I made it through 30 minutes of the first episode and I tapped out. The whole concept of the doctor’s daughter dying and the not so great acting was enough for me to stop. I have other dramas to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed the rant video. I’m glad I was not the only one who thought it made little sense.
It's actually a good drama with a fantastic heroine, who is smart and outsmarts the other players while being really good at her job,who isin't the usually dittzy childish heroine who always needs saving and makes you eye roll every 3 seconds....The hero is also very intelligent and adorable when drunk...Also the amount of comedy is on point...
I also like the drama. in the beginning when she accused the king of murdering her father, when she approached the king, someone wanted to stop her but the king showed that person to stop, so Is not entirely true that no-one stepped in to stop her. Then after the fire and assuming she died the king said she's very smart, so we can expect her to be so. Later she indeed is a badass person. don't try to mess with her. she's got logic and makes her new family find out who's ploting against their male heir and also heals him. When her voice and face is changed, the doctor said is a forbidden or forgotten technique, and it doesn't say it took a night to change her face. then after her Master dies she reads all his books and also finds out about the possible reason her dad died, so she goes to investigate, but she's also kind. she said: even if they had anything to do with that event, I will forgive them because of their sacrifice( the doctors and his daughter which was also her friend.) . so I can say is not all unreasonable and stupid as other dramas are. it gets better later on.
🤭🤭..... well, I already threw my logic out of the roof for this one that I'm still somehow watching it until now lol. In the original novel, the female lead was 'transmigrating' into junzhenzhen's body and she's already staying with Fang family (original junzhenzhen is like a spoiled young miss, which also explain liuer's character) , her father and the divine doctor were different persons 😅. And I knew I had to worry for this one because the track record of the script writer is kinda... 😅
Thank you for your honest review. I have so many dramas (Korean, Taiwanese, Thailand, Japanese) to watch but so little time. Work and family gets in the way. I will pass on this one.
it was so crazy in just 20 minutes !! It was very absurd but I must admit that it is my "eye Candy" that helps me kill time while something really worthwhile comes out
@Avenuex, Sometimes I agree with your rant on some drama but on Jun Jui Ling I have to say you are totally wrong. Sometimes it’s best to watch without a critical eye. I am up to episode 13 & anxiously waiting to see what comes next. jun Jui Ling drama series has a lot of lol funny moments and it’s not lagging. Give it a chance & relax & enjoy. Try harder not to always look for the bad & something to complain about like a negative ninny. 👍 If you continued beyond 2 1/2 EP you would know that the emperor she tried to stab is her uncle & the one who stopped her is actually a general not just a diplomat.
I agree I think it’s an enjoyable drama not everything has to be logical. That’s why I like Chinese dramas it’s nothing like real life 🤣 and honestly I prefer it that way. Transport me out of my stressful life into a totally different world. I really like this drama I’ve watched all the episodes even the ones that have no eng subs.
Usually I agree with you on dramas- this one I definitely agree that there’s too much going on making it overly dramatic, unreal & funny. 😂 I’m watching it for the leads, fast forward a lot of it as well but enjoyed ML’s first crying scene. Why? Because I think he did well since I haven’t watched any dramas where anyone actually does that. Holding it in, covering your mouth and tears dripping. Very real and raw as Dana mentioned.
Sorry Avenue X , I’m already 18 episodes down and I have no regrets. I LOOOOVE IT, and nothing you or anyone not even the trending Chinese Cancel culture is gonna make me boycott this drama. 😂The whole reason of every DRAMA is to entertain, not to turn into reality. Peng Xiaoran and Jin Han are one of the most talented actors that can actually act and so far, the drama is keeping me on my toes with greed for atleast 4 episodes per day! Good drama watching!
She rants too much, every drama can’t be all good and perfect and because she’s not a fan of the genre she rant about it. She did the same about ancient love poetry without even watching to the end or middle. I know there is mistakes about this particular drama but she don’t need to rant about and spoil their work because she don’t like it. The drama is not even complete yet and you are spoiling the drama. Give the drama a shot and judge it yourself.
@@cabrinatrim9115 Absolutely overtime she has turned into a professional ranter and so dismissive that she even dresses for it to empower the ranting with passion🤣 which is entertaining too. But the gaslighting title of the video is misleading too. Dramas are like one man’s meat being another’s poison. Some of us are into performances i.e After Peng Xiaoran ‘s super performance in Goodbye my princess we waited for her to release her next and Jun Han is another powerhouse performer! so many of us were looking forward to their teaming and I’m very happy with their performances. They are versatile and empower the shortcomings of the drama which are irrelevant. Overall i love this drama. Period!
If the writers want you to suspend logic they should just make it a fantasy. I really dislike writing that makes no sense. As you said she is in the throne room surrounded by people and no one put their hand over her mouth or twisted her arm or just cut her head off. That and it was really awkward and cringey. I hardly want to like characters that make a scene and have no hard proof or reason to surplant the current seat. At least in the Long Ballad as much as she was irritated at her uncle for his part she continued to half support him as a patriot and put the country first. What course of action did she have after her "justice moment" Not saying just let the baddies have their way, but maybe have a plan and allies. But I suppose we are to watch her grow from here....But after so much cringe, I don't care about her personal growth as a character. Thanks for the time saving. My list always needs editing after watching you videos. Do you have a complete list of dropped dramas somewhere for a timesaving reference?
i laughed through the first few episodes but once you pass that it's a lot of fun. I barely care for the revenge plot I just really enjoy the characters
Im up to episode 24 and yes, its early episodes were over done but i see it more of a long prelude. It gets interesting from 5 onwards. Her journey is a psychological battle of wits and deception, thrown in with romance, comedical cuteness and (over the top) sense of moral justice and you got a pretty good cdrama! Unless its a star studded cast (AAA) then production quality and costume design is not a problem with me. :) so far, its a 6.5/10 for me.
Same here. I just ignored the lightening, and the weird plot at the beggining and enjoy the rest of the story. The pace is pretty fast so I enjoy watching and I wait how all of this will turn out. And Peng Xiaoran's acting is great. The drama itself is not that bad. I've seen plenty worse.
@@114Lazy Define "ugly". I really dislike people that judge other people by their apperances. Just because you are not attracted to him does not mean he is ugly. I'm not attracted to Park Seo Joon yet I don't call him ugly.
Dori1703 ugly as in doesn’t suit the character. Maybe people who aren’t in the Asian community can’t tell but he’s acting in a way that we would call ‘greasy.’ That means that every movement he makes seems to shout ‘ I’m so handsome and I know it!’ It’s very uncomfortable if you immediately recognize signs of it when you start a drama. It’s part of the reason there so little dramas that I enjoy.
"I changed your face!" "Oh nice, now no one will recognize me!" "And I changed your voice!" "Uhhhhhhhhhhh, probably not necessary, but sure, ok!" "And I gave you a boob job!" "Wat."
I went into the drama fully expected the pure fiction of it all because of the trailers I saw. But honestly, it’s a great show! All the way to the end, it’s very interesting and fun to watch. I’ve watched it about 3 times now

@@silviacarolina8456 high five, i'm watching Hospital Playlist season 2 too✋😀and I recommend Penthouse just incase you haven't watch yet😉
@@seven-vh4wy haven't seen Penthouse. Maybe after Hospital Playlist, I am on ep 9. Sometimes I reply some scene becoz it is really hillarious. When will chinese dramaland can produce a good story like HP?
I threw all logic when watching this and once u do that, it’s actually enjoyable. I can’t wait for future episodes and I will finish the drama.
same here😂😂😂
Yeah, if you look past the tropes and silly crap it's enjoyable enough.
Chinese dramas have many unbelievable tropes since the first dramas and movies that were produced. I don’t know why Chinese viewers nitpick so much.
😂😂😂 nah, i should stay and watch Korean drama. Even some of them are illogal, but at least the production and acting were great
@@khoirunnisa2801u want good production and acting? Then watch Nirvana in Fire, Rise of The Phoenix, Ruyi Royal Love and many many more. U chose the wrong cdrama if you think all cdrama has zero acting and production
I'm laughing because I literally dropped it at the exact same scene. I was just like ... I cannot
I have long come to a conclusion that the reason why bad dramas exist is to allow reviewers to have material to work on.
@@Lululuke1980 you bet at this point
What platform are you watching it on that is loaded to 18?
@@hanajames440 well, for instances (spoiler):
The FL teacher died bcoz he fell of the cliff trying to pick a supposedly very rare medicine, rite?

Hahaha, i don't know why the rebirth adaptation novel which i saw the drama always had weird rewrite plotline....
Cause the government forbid any rebirth or transmigation in cdrama, so they have to rewrite the story.
@@gameone5522 why does the government forbid rebirth or transmigration in dramas?
Superman, and those heroes of marvel world, also have lots of fantastical aspects . . .
It is indeed a great drama!
I agreed with you, Jin Han and Peng xiao Ran are good combination, both are acting good i love them.... Can't wait what next episodes❤️✌️
OMG that outfit is so beautiful!!! I think that peach color of lipstick suits you perfectly!
Watching Chinese drama for some time has tamed my strong urges to rely on laws of physics & logic. Lol
Despite the hilarious rant, I'm even more curious to check this drama out when its fully aired. 😂😂
Throw away logic and it’s a fun love story with a smart female lead and a male lead who is over the top in love and totally lovable . Their chemistry is - chef’s kiss 😘
I doubt you would finish it ...ever. truth or dare is better than this
Me too 🤣
It's a great drama with both heroes being fantasic and smart
I like it when you start ranting....it's so fun😁😂
It's silly at the beginning, but I've really enjoyed this drama overall.

I actually like this drama a lot, my whole fam watch it together 😄
Yeah I'm enjoying it. I made fun 9f some scenes in the first episode but after that it's become quite addictive.
What's this drama's name in English?
Main Character syndrome--plots revolves around them even when it makes not logical sense. Like what kind of father lets their daughter be burned to death. >.>
You are so strong, I would not be able to finish the first ep.
you should make more rant/ Better NOT Watch videos! they are so good and life saver!
What is the English name?
You should watch Goodbye my princess, she is the female lead there and it's one of the best c-dramas
Lol when u don't even watch the drama but enjoy the rant 😂

Omg! Sounds like this drama deserves a live audience 😂😂😂😂. I would love MST3K to do an episode on this. I can just imagine the hilarity from the comments.
Mystery Science Theater 3000
To share a *spoiler*
In the drama she openly tells her grandmother that Fang family is being attacked by someone close.
From you post I 've got a feeling the novel is much darker and more complicated than the drama)
@@_V_G it kind of is. In the novel the princess sympathizes with the Fang family but is not overly emotionally attached to them. It's only partially translated on novelupdates so I couldn't completely read it but I liked the female lead in the book more. She behaves more like a princess.

I laughed through this whole critique! You are absolutely my favorite critic!!!
However it is good to have in between.
i love your rant outfit - it's queenly!

The crying scene was pretty endearing to me because it was so messy. Usually it's an artistic single stoic tear in the rain, but this was so more raw.
@@dana8503 Yes, I agree. It was something you truly felt not one to look “beautiful” on screen. Rarely do I see this in dramas.

Agree. I'm enjoying the drama as well.
