I feel your pain. I have one of those hydrants. Put it in new about 25 years ago(dug by hand). Then, again about 6 years ago. I was able to take my time though, dig a wider hole so I could get down in the hole where the issue was. One good thing about going at it by hand first is at least you got to find the line so you didn't hit it with the excavator. That was a good (but bad) days work right there!!
I’m thankful it can still do the hard stuff. Some day I won’t. Not looking forward to that. I can definitely relate to what you’re saying Dan. I want to did the problem with the shovel and not make it worse with equipment. Thanks for watching Dan!
Could you do a video explaining why you have to move the cows so much? I don’t remember us moving them often but it very well could have been because I wasn’t there when you were doing it! I’m just curious!!
We move the cows a little more now cause we have a little more time and labor than when I was working off farm. Plus we have cattle in more places as well which causes us to move cattle from one place to another. Good question Caity
