    This toilet has one massive error - it flushes before the lid goes down. That means your poo particles are being sprayed all over the toilet. The whole point of a lid is to shut the toilet and then flush. That’s the single most important hygiene feature and it’s in the wrong order. What a shame.

    • @Mriya6
      @Mriya6 3 місяці тому

      Bollucks. I've never put the lid down in my entire life, and I hate it when people do. All it does is add an unnecessary extra step to the act of sitting down. Plus it traps the smell of the last person's crap in the bowl where it otherwise would have dissapated hours ago. Putting the lid down is a total waste of time

    • @newleft2254
      @newleft2254 3 місяці тому

      @@Mriya6 Continue spraying shit particles on your toothbrush and other cosmetics lying around. If you want to be disgusting you are most free to be so. The lid is designed to keep the splashes down and some of us are civilised enough to make use of it . The end.

    Depending on how your bathroom is laid out there is a very effective "poor" mans alternative. It is an up turned power shower head ... 100% effective and zero extra cost. The benefit of a thorough wash down after a number 2 cannot be over stated. In the UK we are decades behind other civilised countries on this matter.

    Its a great toilet no doubt, but for £2400 it's very steel. There are many other cheaper units that do the same as this one, for a fraction of the price

    I totally get what you mean with whole don’t feel clean after a number 2. Hence the reason I never use a public toilet. Always my own, as I’m straight for shower afterwords.

      How long have you had it and how is it aging? I've wanted one since visiting Japan >6 years ago but my biggest concern is dropping such a big amount on a toilet for it to break a week out of warranty. Doing my downstairs toilet in the new year.

    • @georgeanastasi7729
      @georgeanastasi7729 Рік тому +1

      @@samrufflecoles Still no issues, sometimes very rarely the unit won't register remote inputs and will forget previous settings re: temp etc but this is usually a sign batteries are low in remote. I'd like to try and get a spare remote in case I can drop it on a tiled floor. But yeah no issues at all other than that really .

    💩I've fitted the basic ones. Concealed metal rigid frame. Concealed cistern and itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, flush plate. None one as technologically complicated as that. What happens when it becomes "self aware"? See: Terminator. "I vant your bootz, your clothes, your motorcycle unt your bodily evacuations. Erzoleeee!"
    I can see the point of having a self lowering toilet seat tho. That'd stop the missus nagging. Harvey Denton, the toad collector, from League of Gentlemen would be well impressed. He prayed for a self lowering toilet seat.

    Hi. Debbie Downer here. What happens when the internet goes down? Or there's a power cut? Or you can't pay the fuel bills? Or something goes wrong? Is it a lot more difficult & expensive? One thing I have learned about technology is that when it goes wrong it usually is. (See wind-up car windows v electric windows/wing mirrors etc...) And there's a chronic computer chip shortage at the moment too. 😊🚽

    As much as I think this is cool, I prefer a toilet which isn't too reliant on electric to work fully, ie a normal one. I know you can manually flush this but I'd personally prefer toilets that are easy to service, and doesn't cost me any kW.
