    To anyone who is trying this with little crochet skills, keep trying! Patience is the best. It took me an hour to figure out how to do the double crochet stitch but I kept redoing it and I got the hang of it!

      @@ratqueensaladi looked up a separate video tutorial because she goes too fast for beginners. Just make sure you chain two at the beginning of the foundation to start. Some tutorials say to start with 3 or even 4, i just did 2 like Bev because I didnt want to mess with her pattern if it even makes a difference

    pretty new to crochet but wanted to try this. currently working it a couple sizes up with linked double / triple crochet stitches ( was getting annoyed with how holey my projects have been, and its been a pretty simple swap. bonus points my gauge swatch came out actually the right size when i made it linked, when it was too big regular 🤷‍♀️ )
    this video guide has been a life saver. currently only on row 2 but i’ll report back how its going with linked once i’ve worked to the end of this video of the guide.

    I really want to make a cropped version of this (around waist length), but am new to patterns and don't know how to "alter" them. Has anyone adapted this so it is cropped or has any ideas about how to do this? I'm assuming I just don't do some of the rows 😬

      Repeat the diamond cables from row 1-row16 (if not mistaken) for the other stitches like the 4 stitch 2 stitch cables and rest repeats row 1 & 2 all the time

    is there any way i could adjust the length for this cardigan? im 165cm and i was making the M/L size and i'm beginning to realize that the cardigan might be too short on me!! i'm new to crochet so i dont know what id do to adjust the pattern. i have 3824 yards of yarn intended for this cardigan and i was also wondering if i do extend would i need to buy more yarn to complete this?
    edit: what i specifically have in mind is following the pattern for M/L for width but then following 2XL for length but since im new to this i dont know if that would work!! any advice is very appreciated

    • @Juhi_0990
      @Juhi_0990 8 місяців тому +1

      The length of 2XL should definitely work with width of M/L
      Because it’s just extending the no. of rows
      So I guess it will be fine enough
      And you may need to get more yarn
      Hope it helps!!

    • @zeynepdeliter4790

      Depends on your size. M to L for example is 800g of yarn and usually a roll of yarn is 100g so 8 rolls of yarn !

Like xl will be too large for me and s if fine for my entire body but i want longer sleeves (my arms are longer so the sleeve length should be around 22 inches) and a longer cardigan 😭😭 also will there be any difference if i use 8ply yarn instead??
