We flew into the Guyana interior to explore the Kanuku Mountains, spending a night in the jungle and learning how to survive! I tried eating a live grub, learned to catch fish using cyanide and then we slept in hammocks by the rapids.
This was an incredible trip to one of the least visited countries in the world. From exploring the Amazon basin, to finding a harpies eagle nest, to staying in community eco lodges and finally flying to Kaiteur Falls - Guyana is a country to add your list.

Stunning place! Travel is more about visiting the famous sites, a lot of the times, the places we least think about have some of the most amazing landscapes and much more! Great video!
To add that's why I keep tell travelling people emerse themselves with the locals and get deep into the country and would discover so much more.
@@dereck4187 One Hundred percent agree! The best way to get to know a place is just wander around, check out the local markets, get lost in the streets, and talk to the locals if possible! They're always excited to see people from another country visit their home land.

Thank you Bro Jord, for showing us very remote areas of Guyana, through your amazing lens..I admire you for being sensitive to those hard working oxes (bulls). Beautiful rainforest and landscapes..Stunning mountain views. I wish the locals there can be introduced to better modes of transportation, rather than the animals. They are so skinny....Maybe the tourist industry can look into this because people won't mind visiting there too. The foods are natural, fresh and surely tasty by the looks of them.

What a great adventure! I like hammocks, but I personally can't stand spending the night in one, especially after a sweaty hike. All your limbs are squeezed together and I feel a bit claustrophobic without being able to spread nice and wide and let things breathe. 😩
