Phenomenal job Brandon! I spent my life as a musician. I should have restored old buses! I’m a disabled old man now but I would love one of your restorations to get me and my wheelchair around
Having an Eckold to be able to do these bends in the sheetmetal is an absolute must. Fantastic job in showing how to get an old bus back up to life. Keep it up, we will be watching. Greetings from 🇳🇱
I'm watching you! Seriously, I appreciate the extent you're taking this restoration. The end result should last decades, and will be something your kids and their kids will admire.
Awesome creativity when making those parts. I would have never thought to use wood to chip out that mold . It looked factory fresh. Keep up the outstanding work
Good morning. A cool bit of fabrication on that chassis rail and panel 👍🏻 I think it’s absolutely amazing how many of you Americans restore old European vehicles 😂 🏴
I've now binged all your videos... excellent work so far! You may be building an entirely different vehicle, but rust repair is rust repair! Lol! With the attention to detail you're demonstrating, this will be one fine VW van! New sub! Keep up the good work!!! 🖖🏿😎👍🏿
Hi Brandon, Impressive metalwork invention of how to make metal parts from scratch using woodblock is very intensive but with a great outcome🛠. great also to have a shrinke👍🏻r. Love your work👍🏻🙏🏻.🇳🇴🇳🇱☮Greetings,Hubertus
Awesome as always. Is this your first restoration? I read here before that this is not your trade but you seem to have an eye for it and learned what you didnt know very fast
I like your video, i hope you can earn more subscriber and make more video restoration or reparation with the other car. God bless you brother, respect from Indonesia🇮🇩
Jeez, it is no wonder these old buses did not survive crashes, they are just tin cans! Of course, the Vanagon could take a pretty hard nose hit with those i-beams underfoot.
@@BrandonsBus After two loaf buses I ended my VW past with an '86 Vanagon Transporter Syncro (sold - 2004). Impressive work and documentation, Brandon. Good to see someone taking the work to task. I paid tons and tons to keep mine going as I was 'just the driver.' Why do VW's need so much maintenance?

I admire the way you take extra care to achieve the best results possible rather than settling for "that's good enough". Many thanks and good wishes.

Out with the rust and rot, in with the new metal. I see a solid bus coming soon... Thumbs Up!
Impressive work! Thorough throughout, no shortcuts whatsoever!
Great job as always.
Брэндон, ты крут))) Интересный проект - сил тебе и терпения!
Great work you are a metal work expert.

Fantastic job! Pleasure to watch. All the best.
Good work! Lots of back and forth. Was in a similar situation yesterday with a ‘63 Chevy II gasser repair. The repair is simple. Prep is all day.

Thanks for following along! This bus is a Butchers Broom or Ship of Theseus kinda scenario.
Looks like a main frame restoration not the inner wheel well (tub) I was expecting. Still a great job!
Great job man 👍🏻

You are doing a great job with the rust repair I would pass on the van seeing all the rust it had
I had it shipped from Brazil and didn't know exactly the extent of the rust, but I was up for the challenge.
I admire your ability to probably turn a rotten wreck into a beautiful car ❣️ I'm really curious about the end result ❣️🌹!
Muy buen trabajo...... soy tu fan brother !!!!
Great job.

Definitely little crash support on the T1's. I'm thinking of adding my own braces for strength.

Hey, du bist gut man...
I hope your making templates piece by piece. If you need it. Everybody else will.
🤗👍👌⭐
Why drilling holes on the side when there is a nice hole cutter for it. Quicker and no drilling required.
I have a pneumatic hole punch but it’s a little dull and wouldn’t cut through the 16g
