Next best thing to being there, as we’ve come to expect! I loved the shoe-geek start line identifications, and got goosebumps seeing Boston Marathon weekend landmarks. I also love how you caption with peoples’ names on these videos. Ko, if you can stay over at least 1/2 day after the the marathon, Marathon Sports will engrave your medal for free with your name and finish time.
AWESOME to see my hometown get the "Chicago" treatment! Your videos have played a large part in my falling in love with Chicago, so it's great to see Boston through a similar lens! Congrats on the race!
You always choose nice route for running so for those like me who still haven't had chance to visit cities like Boston, San Francisco and Chicago can fully enjoy city landscape..😍 Your videos push me not just to run but change travel priorities as well!
Great film, it’s so good seeing all this real type footage including the race experience. For someone on the other side of the world it’s the next best thing to being there and keeps the fire burning to make it over there someday!
Great race indeed. I crossed the finished line exhausted and I see Kofuzi there congratulating everyone coming in. Fist bump with Ko was almost as good as the medal. Great to meet you!
I’m starting to think I need to make the very expensive investment in going to this race someday, short as it is for such a long trip from CO. It seems magical.
Mike, what a great race video! Sidelined with stress fracture I really needed the vicarious run today. This race was so refreshing and positive. Really needed it!❤️😊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊Thanks!
I have been to the USA only twice, stayed in Washington, New York, and Falmouth :-) it's a magic place, English / fishing paradise. Nice people, laid back life.
That was a fun group run, great footage! Thanks for the marathon advice and the brief cameo haha. Just got my skratch passionfruit box last night and saw how you used it at Grandmas, planning to do the same this weekend. Vaporfly Next 2’s are also a go for me. Congrats again!
I saw Bill Rodgers run this back in the 1970s and I've been running since the 1990s. Bill actually used to stay in the same hotel as us and we'd chat with him at breakfast. That 2022 was very brutal. You're lucky to be fast because us slow pokes start later and really get baked by the sun by the end. If you stay long enough you hear all the sirens from heat exhaustion every year. I'm watching videos now to buy my first action camera so I'm glad to see what it looks like with a GoPro. I'm leaning towards the GoPro but I may go with the Insta 360 as I don't want to screw up this upcoming Falmouth. Injuries have hit me hard this year so this might be my last Falmouth and I want to try and capture it on video this year. Thanks for the video. I hope I can create my own this year.
Fantastic video, Mike! Your runners weekend recaps are amazing!! Someday you’ll have to run the Bix 7 Road Race in Davenport, Iowa. It’s crazy hilly and hot but looks like the same kind of amazing community support!
Citizen runner. Fun last race weekend of the summer season. Really enjoyed this series. Keep it rolling. You manage to do sponsored content without making it obnoxious.
Great weekend video. It's always nice to watch these. Was that a bagel right before the race? I dunno how people can eat something solid and not have their sides hurts before start. lol
@@Drew.Whitcomb I’d say we could all benefit from another 7-12”, but that number may be a bit too aggressive 😂 I appreciate the sentiment all the same!
Ko is a midfoot runner and with all the speedwork he is doing would be all front foot running. If your running slower paces your likely to drop back to your heel more It is individual preference, some elite marathoners running heel strike still
You might have considered taking the Green Line subway/trolley all the way up Beacon Street and disembarked atthe Chestnut Hill Reservoir (Boston College). Assuming nothing has changed since I lived there 30+ years ago, run up Beacon Street all the way up to Four Corners in Newton. That's near the end of Heartbreak Hill but it's a steep climb to get there anyway so you don't miss much. You then turn right on Commonwealth Ave which intersects Beacon take that all the way to the finish line on Boylston. TOO LATE!
I bought two new pairs of sunglasses for the weekend. the clear ones with the blue lenses were Shady Rays. The other pair I wore throughout the weekend were Blenders
The distance is weird because the race was created by a bartender. It starts at a bar in one town, Woods Hole, and ends at a bar in the next town, Falmouth.
Then there are beasts like Kofuzi who still run amazing times even with the cam and give us these great vicarious experiences. By now I bet that thing feels almost like a part of you Mike. As long as you’re not getting aches or pains, we all appreciate it.
Then there are PRs. We appreciate your running videos but you have to think that maybe one race without a camera would be somewhat beneficial. We are all adults, we’ll get over the cinematography for one.
@@RunWithDan No I didn’t; it’s a valid point and an obvious one, but it’s been made repeatedly to him and he’s repeated that he’s not interested in doing that. ✊

Great meeting you Connor! Congrats on Falmouth!
Great weekend, great video! Thanks for the group run - it was cool to finally meet the man behind the mukbang. 🙌

What an awesome running community! And amazed to see Bill Rodgers still running strong! Great video as always.
he's got the best hype squad. any time someone passes, they yell out, You're running with Bill Rodgers!
That post-race dip in the Atlantic looks AMAZING. Thanks for bringing us along as always, Mike!
The water was a remarkably comfortable temperature
Awesome video !! I was the dude on top of the last hill yelling your name 😂 great race !!
thanks for the support! I really needed it! that hill is menacing!
It's even better hanging with Kofuzi in person than he makes it seem on video. Would do a runner's weekend with him any time!

Another Kofuzi production masterpiece
