I learned a new tip for floating docks. My first set of docks I like to fish are the docks that the morning sun hits on first. I use my FFS to see if they are fish around the dock, or if they have any bait fish nearby. I drop shot the pile on that are shaded first and then underneath the dock with a jig, spinnerbait, or chatter bait. When the sun gets straight up, I go to the opposite side of the lake and start fishing those docks by skipping a bait under them. Not say my technique always works but when it does, I enjoy the rewards. Good luck on your remaining tournaments this year. I recently purchased some D Bomb baits; I have caught some 5 and 6 pounders this summer in hay grass. Can't wait to try them this year during spawning time.
Can we talk about topwaters. When buzz baits over ploppers, poppers.ober walking. Generally when and where each would apply. And what to do after a lightning storm. I get my butt handed to me after a lightning storm on our Ozark lakes, specifically truman lake missouri. Great videos and good luck to the rest of the season
No clue which one bc they have so many different models so it’s hard to say. I only have one, I’m not a big fan of them. I think they are over priced right along with a lot of other rods that I own 😂
@@jermaineroach976 I feel like they’re underrated at the price point. Sensitivity is comparable to loomis glx in my hands. I came from mostly Dobyns and phenix and it outshines them. There’s a couple of Dobyns and phenix I kept though. I have one other company I wanna try in the future.
@@jaredjones2915I own Dobyns and Phenix rods and I love them. Cashions rods to me are jig rods and I’m not a jig fisherman. Like I said I own one and it barely gets used.

Thanks John!
I do the same thing but with a spinnerbait. That was my favorite trick as a back of the boat angler.
I like that secret tip JC.

If I didn't know better id say you were on lake harding. Good video John.
What equipment are you using
Neat trick to getting under a boat dock.
Thanks
Let's Go Homie!!
What rod are you usually using to pick apart docks
It’s a Cashions Rod
@@jermaineroach976 I already figured that. I’ve got a bunch of the icons. I’m just wondering which one.
