    Love this video idea - I wish more content creators did this. We hear all about baits, colors, rods, reels, presentations....but very little about WHERE to use stuff and how to find where.

    Hey there! I remember watching your channel back in the day, then life happened and I had to get rid of everything. We just recently bought our first bass boat, an 88 ranger 393v and am finally back in the game. Tho I will say I have forgot EVERYTHING. So I wanted to thank you for what you do from here in Central FL. I will definitely be binge watching your content

    The idea where there life, bugs bait fish birds muskrats theres fish. Ive known this tip but sadly only have caught sunfish and a chub 😢. Its been tough because water is dangerously shallow. I know because im able to walk out quiet a ways i use my knee high rain boots. The dock is out about 10 to 15 ft. When im able to walk near the dock i know water is shallow. Knowing this i finally got a 7ft rod to cast to deep water where theres eddies and pockets in the water. Also the corrent seams. Even fishing that ive had no luck. Then, i looked in depth for brush piles and grass patches to fish. Since corrent seams shaded areas where there's pockets and eddies didnt produce fish. I fish cover where theres grass and brush and only caught sunfish 🙄

    Too bad much of your information, move around, find certain areas (which may be mikes from accessible launch areas), are not conducive to human powered kayaks. Cover a lot of water is not helping to someone paddling. You may as well be back on your bass boat for this video. How about where to find them when you are human powered?

    • @Flukemaster
      @Flukemaster  8 місяців тому +15

      I did the same thing when I paddled. Many people forget the years I paddled all over the place. There were days I paddled several miles covering water so don't give me that excuse. 10 miles in a day was common. Then my shoulders prevented me from doing it anymore and injuries from my time in the Army keeps me from peddling so I got a motor. If you consider paddling a handicap then maybe you should get a motor
      .

    • @marklaughlin08
      @marklaughlin08 8 місяців тому

      When you human powered, you don't have the range, which is your point. So, only option is to try all your baits in the best spot u can reach and hit all the levels of the water column. Not much more you can do without power.

    • @Flukemaster
      @Flukemaster  8 місяців тому +2

      You can do all the research in the days prior to put yourself on a good spot no matter what you fish out of.
