Thank you so much for this. While most of my ticks are breathing or facial related it still strikes home how self aware I am of them. And how much more aware of them I would be if I had a SO I was cuddling with. I'd likely not enjoy cuddling just because I'd be focusing on keeping from doing my ticks.

Unfortunately for me why do verbal, facial, and my whole body I've been diagnosed with severe Tourette syndrome since I was a three year old.

I have the same kind of tics too breathing and face twitching like stuff it’s so annoying and scary tbh the breathing feels like I’m asphyxiating myself that’s how fucked up it is and sometimes I sweat a lot from it

Back when it wasn't "normalized" no one understood or wanted to understand what was happening to me. Before it was "cool" it was one of the reasons why it was tough to have friends at all. And a small school didn't help. I still have it, and I always say it usually gets better with age, but some things never heal. 💔 thank you for trying to understand us, even if you don't or fail to. You're audios are one of the best and it gets me through the lonely 20s. You inspire me to voice act again and even script.
    Thank you

I've learned that as you get older it gets easier to control, I've been diagnosed since I was a 3-year-old and I'm now currently 20

I'm working on getting my ticks diagnosed with a neurologist and I've been told for years that I "just need to stop" and my reaction is always "noooo really?!" Lol

Ayo this was perfect timing, been out of commission myself for the past week or two with some really painful tics. It's nice to see a more niche issue covered in an audio like this, so thank you!
For anyone else struggling with tics: take your time, rest as much as you can, and remember that the severity of tics ebb and flow. Thugging that shit out is in our DNA.

This isn't something I have to deal with, but I have a friend who does, and I'm glad to have a better understanding of their tics now.
    Thanks for the audio, Kat.

Also I've been diagnosed since I was three years old I've been doing public speeches from school to school here and there throughout the years even though I'm graduated I am now 20 years old still doing public speaking in zone! Not a lot of people in my area know about it and being able to educate people and leaving a legacy behind at my high school about Tourette's and educating the teachers there so they can educate others as more students fly in throughout the entire world with this disability to this as I've heard about me sometimes fills me with hope and joy as they start to attend the school I used to go to and now they feel comfortable!

Not sure if this something Ive heard about, cause memory bad. Seeing the name of the syndrome and disorder I thought no, but after looking it up and seeing the symptoms I’m not sure. Never the less it’s really interesting listening to these ASMRs and learning about conditions and wonderful seeing Kat make very comforting ASMRs about them, hope this will help for those who deal with this. Kat I know you don’t seem to check the comments of your vids recently, but I hope your doing well and all, Ty as always for these videos. So wonderful and help lots. ❤

To explain on my behalf for the people and community with Tourette syndrome in my area of Canada try holding a blink try not try not to blink basically the urge to blank is urged to tik this is what I explained to children that are young and still are in preschool because they asked me why are you making funny noises I'll just tell them we'll try holding your eyes open for as long as you can. Burning sensation and urge to blink is what I feel everyday that's why I do these noises and make these weird movements and funny faces as well as sounds.

    OMG THANK YOU!!!
I've been diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome since I was 3 years old, in order for me to get diagnosed I had to do things outside of the house such as taking I had to do it in public areas and in the house with witnesses that would go to my family doctor with us and state and also say yes she did these things but she doesn't know she's doing these my parents would record me all the time and it made me so self-conscious in school because I kept doing weird things and I didn't understand at all and you making this video really sheds light on people! 💜💜💜

Hi, Kat. I understand you're taking listener requests. Is it okay if I give you my own? Scenario: You and the listener are in a rock band. You are the lead guitarist and the listener is the lead singer. The listener just got out of rehab for drugs and alcohol and they're about to do their first concert sober. They have an anxiety attack in the dressing room and you attempt to ease, reassure, and motivate them into going out on stage. I hope this suggestion reaches and interests you, Kat. I enjoy your content and would love to hear this done by you.

What fucking possessed you to make you think that that’s an ok thing to ask? Dude you’re beyond ASMR you need to get out of the house and maybe go to some group sessions if you feel THAT isolated
