Great exercises, I have been watching all your videos since late May and I feel that my spelling abilities improved tremendously! In addition, I would be extremely glad if you could provide more spelling videos of uncommon names and family names. Thanks!
I am having problems with names spelled for me at the telephone and you can't imagining how your videos are helping me, once English is not my first language!
I always have difficulties recognizing A, E, I . I think this is because in my language (Spanish), they are pronounced quite similar but in different order. I hope I make sense saying this.
Same here in italian. For us, A:A E:E I:I, while in English is somethig like A: EI, I: AI, E: I. so our difficulty is totally understandable.
Usually, I have problems identifying the "R" due to its sound like "A". Also instead of writing down double LL or double OO, I wrote down WL and WO, haha omg that was so much fun. thank you for sharing this
Thank you so much for these exercises, I need more practice with the letters N, M, P, T and D. God blessed you.
thank you so much. I frequently make mistake with " e " and " i ".your video is so helpful for me to practice and improve my spelling skill.
Likewise Uyen, I confuse e (i sound) a (ei sound) and i (ai sound) any technique to focus on my brain? I use to writing but I think I waste of time.. ahh and g and y ,,,,
tried for the first time and have got 10/10. feeling happy.
good for you. 8/10
I ve got 9/10. Mistake is 2-nd one.It s hard to identify when you hear spelling of this word. ((F)Trambley-Tremblay(T))
Thank you very much ! I like the way you have us practice: names in sentences.
8 / 10 . tremblay , nguyen . thnaksss for the video !
Your videos so useful for Ilets preperation Sir Thank you wholeheartedly
8/10. Have been facing difficuties with distinguishing Y from I, R from I, M and N
I just found this chanel, its usefull to help me study for ielts test
Sometime, I have a mistake because "a" and "i" in Vietnamese have the same spelling with "r" and "e" in English
Hi and thanks for the comment. It is good that you are aware of which sounds in your native language may affect your spelling in English.
In brazilian portuguese is about the same. The letter "e" in English sound "i" in portuguese. Curious !
e and i for me
9/10. My answer 2 was wrong.
I wrote "tiemblay" instead of "tremblay''. r sounds like i.
I know that was my mistake.
Very helpful video that's why I watch full advertisement on your video.
I same with you hiks hiks
@@mohammadrizkiutomo1091 How is your preparation ?
One of my favorite videos, thank's for those videos, I've improved.
Thanks, I think It is good to practice that specific exercises.
At 2:14, I think he misspelled Tremblay, the "r " sounds like an "i".
yes, it does, but there is no family name Tiemblay, well, unlikely. Use your logic, as Coach says
thank you
I've got 7 /10 for the first time I tried. thanks for your small test about spelling.
I did it . I was lazy before but this time I did it. Thank you so much . Now I am going to try a email addresses spelling.
9/10. Number 2 was a little difficult to me because i heard the letter I instead of R in Tremblay. I wrote it Tiemblay.
9/10 thank you so much teacher. You're welcome😊😊
i got 9/10. My 2nd answer was wrong i wrote "trembley" instead of "tremblay" ..but this is a very helpfull video for me thank you sir
Good video, but I hope we can focus on less common names, like No.2, 3, 6, 7, 8, which are more likely to be used on IELTS listening test.
Franklin, Tremblay, Rodrrguez, Robinson, Walker, Sanchez, Mueller, Nguyen, peterson, cooper
hi, thank you for your dedication. You have long hair, but i prefer your shot hair, it looks so cool and younger^^ ( My ielts: 4.5 TT )
Thanx
I got 9/10.
I made a mistake in the third name *Rodriguez.* I dropped the the second *r* (i.e. the one in the middle).
Perhaps, this is because of the delay caused by the confusion when hearing the unfamiliar combination of these letters. Therefore that distraction made me lose the synchronization.
9/10..only missed the i in Rodriguez
OMG, i was heard one of family name in Viet Nam, it is number 8, woah. Family name NGUYEN is the popular name and its also the old name in Viet Nam, if somedays you come to Viet Nam, you couldn't be surprised cause its very normal. By the ways, Viet Nam is my country, my hometown is Ho Chi Minh
more videos like that please!!!! it helped me a lot
I wrote four first names incorrectly, epsecially the second one which I replayed several times . It's so sad .
Thank you so much, hope u r always happy
7/10
Hi mate, I´m struggling with this but the names that you spell are easy, could you make some videos with names more difficult? and could you increase the speed of your spelling? it helps me a lot. cheers!!!
9/10 I have changed m by n in number 2 "trembley"
A few people have made similar mistakes and hearing the difference between n and m is difficult. In this case, the letter combination of "mb" is common while "nb" is very uncommon and unlikely.
The IELTS Coach I will remind this tip. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your training. Which region in Britain are you from? Just to know what your accent is.
I am not from Britain. I am from Melbourne, Australia. My accent is not very strong, this may be because I have lived outside Australia since 2002.

Which style of writing in ielts is correct F-R-A-N-K-L-I-N or Franklin .
Plz help me, I am in confusion.
*It makes no difference, both are correct.*
But bear in mind that from punctuation point of view, the first letter of the proper noun (name of a person, town, city, ..etc) must be written in Capital letter.
Franklin. Its even easier than F-R-A-N-K-L-I-N.
Stupid question🙅
thank you so muchh

It is impossible to know which names will appear in future IELTS tests. Familiarize yourself with common names in English and the most common spelling of those names.
