    The binocular term you were looking for is objective. Bino ratings are power x objective size.

    Solid gear dump. Maybe add some bug spray in that list unless i missed it. You covered chapstick but I also carry eye drops, having spent 37 of my 40 years in GA and now living in CO the dryness also irritates my eyes. If you wear glasses, a few glass cleaner wipes might come in handy. Things i wish i had not brought last year, body fat =(

    I shot Park City last year and hitting Snow Basin this year. I totally agree with your list. I’d say water is definitely mando. We got to a stop last year and they were empty. I had a 2.5 liter bladder and shared with my wife and we were fine. I setup last year to 110 and then there was that 130 yard Moose on Sitka. My only lost arrow after 2 courses was that moose. Still mad and now setup for clearance to 150. Only shot it in to 115 but AA says I can get it. Hope I get a chance to try. One big thing that helped last year was I took 1 trekking pole. People questioned it at the start of the day and at the end they all said they wish they did the same. Nock On and Sitka last year had some gnarly little treks for the first 10 targets. Definitely not your local 3d. Some targets have decent hikes through rough terrain. Several ankle injuries and a few broken legs last year. Good luck out there!

    That’s not true.
    It’s not a TAC requirement that your rig be able to shoot out to 100 yards.
    There are people at TAC shooting Trad.
    You can shoot the set targets anywhere from the cone to the target.
    If you’re not comfortable shooting at the set distance you are allowed to walk up to a yardage that’s comfortable for the shooter.
    The only requirement for TAC is that you show up with a bow.
    They do not rent bows

    If you’re going to change your arrows for TAC and you are going to shoot Easton you should build some Hyperspeeds

      Thinking about the new Matrix 6.5 as well. They are basically a sexed up Hyperspeed

    What are kota? What does knights of the apex mean or come from?

    • @KnightsoftheApex
      @KnightsoftheApex  4 роки тому +1

      KOTA is just an acronym for "Knights of the Apex" which is the brand I guess you could call it? The name comes from how we see the role of hunters. We're the apex predators on the plant but we also have an important role as protector. Like a knight at the apex of the food chain.

    Those aae max hunter vanes on your set up?

    • @KnightsoftheApex
      @KnightsoftheApex  4 роки тому +1

      Easton Bully Boattail Vanes. Similar profile to the Max Hunters but a lot stiffer and quieter.
