  • Quick test of a drywall corner flusher roller combo tool.
Rolls/imbeds drywall tape and flushes it at the same time. Flusher or otherwise known as a Glazer.. same thing different name.

I have one and like it for not having to switch tools working alone.

Winter memories from an Ontario sub-division ( old drywaller )

I'm from Winnipeg, winter is never fun getting to new sub-divisions, last to be plowed. Got a 4x4 this year with winter tread, so a bit easier and fun.

I use a banjo and just a regular 2 1/2 flusher on the tape and have had no problems.

I just used a 2.5 flusher too for years, works fine, this tool just made it a bit easier.

I always wondered about one of those flushers it would save the whole rolling process but I honestly believe it would only be beneficial for the super taper or for dry taping with the compound tube with the Bazooka the tape tends to wander on one side or the other wall or ceiling and the corner roller tends to do a better job at cleaning that up in my opinion but it's definitely worth a shot how do you like it did you ever try it with a bazooka I thought you had a Columbia Predator bazooka in that garage video you made what happened to it you don't like it I noticed you have another bazooka the older gray and blue version I have the old black bazooka all updated $400 from Kijiji I'm from Sudbury so I know all about snow but I moved to Niagara Falls now warmer and more work

It's a good tool, I've used it behind the tube/dry taping and the supertaper and it really does eliminate the need for the roller.

I noticed you were from Canada too, seen the CGC label on your mud boxes lol.

How thin are you running your mud for that tool? I feel like I’m still trying to find the right balance where it’s not too thin where mud is dripping all over the place and then not too thick where I’m wrenching my shoulder out of place. On your next video, can you show a two second clip of dipping your paddle in and out of the mud bucket? That would be super helpful! Keep the videos coming

I'll do that soon, i just filmed another corner video today but I don't remember what I showed about mud consistency. But I'll just tell you, the thinnest mud consistency
I ever use is for corner tapes, I'd want to be able to dip my finger in the mud and expect it to drip twice within 10 seconds, not once, not three times. The other thing is I expect some dripping when I do corners, for every room there should be 1-2 drips on the wall and a few tiny splatters on the floor. And I just clean it off before going to the next room. Cleaning a few drops is way easier than wrestling thicker mud all day and fatiguing the body.

@@Interior_Works Thank you! That is a very helpful reference for the consistency. That will help me for my next job coming up. Cheers!

No problem. I had to edit that, consistency not consistently, .. auto correct. Cheers. If the walls and ceilings look sharp and flat, than nobody cares if there's mud stains on the floor, I use an 18" sharpened scraper on the floors when I'm done.

I can always tell because once I’m don’t mixing and adding water I want it to like poof 💨 pretty quickly when k stop mixing. And that’s how I can tell it’s ready to go.
