- Me and the guys try out a bunch of different flushers to see which one is the best and most user friendly. #1The Tape tech glazier is the easiest to use due to the springs and design. I have taped over 200 homes with mines and still runs like a champ no mantinace. #2Columbia flusher #3 Columbia 2 in 1 #4 Canam painters kit and #5 Canam acujust.

The best way I find to use can am flushers is to use 2 inch flusher after you roll. Always struggled with 2.5 - 3 inch as had to push it hard and it never worked. Mud would run all over the place. Then someone recommended 2 inch and it’s a game changer. Flushers are great for small jobs and jobs done by homeowners, where screws are always raised up and you risk fckng up your expensive automatic head.
Good video, thanks
I would be interested in the specs for that valve you have on your pump
Thanks for sharing👍
Thanks for making these videos my dude. I drywall new manufactured homes that are freaking exploded when they show up like u wouldn't belive, walls are always not matched up min of 1/2 -1"... there a different kind of beast.... they gotta look prestine when your done... it's all by hand but was wondering if these flashers work on already textured drywall? I'm sure they don't but figured I would ask... love the video and work #oregon
These are actually not that bad and worth sampling especially for rough houses I think one sells for 15 bucks so if anything you can use it as the beater.
I use a Better Than Ever corner flusher and it glides like butter.
“TJ, you gotta acu-just!” 😂👌🏾
Haha ya I Crack my self up most of the time especially when no one else laughs.
Good job
Man I haven't seen green board in a long time.
Good job amigo
THANKS brother 🤙🏽
which one would you use where old textured drywall meets new drywall? like in a renovation. btw i was sooo nervous that one of tools would fall off the balcony ledge!
Haha 😄ya I think the flushers work better in that scenario don't have to worry about potential dings.
I bought the can am flusher, used it and never got it right. Now it's sitting somewhere accumulating dust. I have another simple glazer that is cheap and doing the right job.
I always keep the shaft of my mixer clean so I don't get chunks and boogers in my mud.
Oh how I hate the jam ups, made my tool out of corner bead. Change my blade or another good tip flip too the other side.
Quelle patience.
Not sure what size flusher young fella was using but seemed not enough mud for that size. I've got a few different brands of flushers and my cam arms are the best. That being said I way prefer my angle heads. I use my flushers more fore really choppy reno jobs where you get lots of old meets new drywall. Flusher seem more forgiving run over those rougher surfaces
Great insight Jim ya the acujust is 3.5 so it was running rough. Should work better for second coating.
Hello, i am french and i will begin with nycor can. you still use it?
Do you use the roller before the flusher in the video? thx you
Yes roller first and the glaziers still running strong
thanks!
Definitely not chunky peanut butter!!? Hahahahahaha😂 ooh thank you😁
That was an LoL irl :) love your channel and your authenticity brother!
Awesome thanks for the support 🙏
Hi colleague, what do you think of plastic nycor flusher after all?
It's actually pretty good we still use it occasionally
I always wanted to try taping tools but watching this it looks so messy. You must spend hours after scraping mud off the floor and what do you do about all that mud the is falling all over the walls?
@Wokepeoplearelazyasf lol, honestly though. Tapers and the electricians. Those are the two worst for leaving a mess.
It doesn't have to be this messy. We are very clean with them. Minimal mud ends up on the wall. However, it does take alot of practice.
No disrespect but I take that tj is still an apprentice?
I only say because I use can-am flusher and they dont give me that kind of trouble.
I use the direct flusher as well with a compound tube and works fine.
I learned on hockey boxes and angle heads. I feel angle heads are better for sure. But I like a tube over a hockey box any day.
Totally agree this was to show case using flushers for the first time transitioning from glaziers. At the end of the day there is all kinds of great ways to achieve a superior finish its all about what works for you and makes you money. Yup Tj and Omar are still learning Omar is about 85% and Tj is about 60%. Iam 95% always learning. Thanks for watching bro and your input.
@@csdrywallhawaii ohh I am just a glorified apprentice. I dig your videos brother. And this one was really good because I feel it shows what it may look like when your just picking these up for the first time. Such a learning curve. You and your crew look solid. And once again meant no disrespect.
Do you guys not roll your angles?
Yes we do for the purpose of saving time we rolled them before recording.
@@csdrywallhawaii ohhh I thought they looked rolled but I couldn’t tell on all of them. I have tried em all and for me I just stick with glazing as it just works. Flushers aren’t bad though just seems like they leave more of a mess
I think I'll stick with my glazers.
Ya glaziers are the best imo.
Solar panels 👌 tool to close to edge lol
Where'd you get the filler neck bazooka filler at
Ebay
👍🏽👍🏽
👍🏽👍🏽
Did you make that adapter ?
For the pump
He bought it. He talked about it in a previous video. not long ago if you're looking.
It's a canam pump.
where do I get that donut?
Hahaha I think he gets it at 711 but must not be that good cuz Iam always throwing out half eaten donuts.
Lol
Yo prefiero el ángulo normal el otro le tienes que puchar mucho
Will these work on a concrete wall
Yes but won't leave the angles as crisp as the glazier but don't have to worry about ruining the blades.
@@csdrywallhawaii ok great...an what head can I use to apply the compound to the concrete angle...
@@csdrywallhawaii will the plastic head for the mudshot work?
Yeah where is the corner roller......messy af, lot of cleanup on walls
Cheeto!! Cheehoo chewbacca ...darn auto correct
Haha Ed you Crack me up man.
😀🤣
Cheehoo
👍
