    SIC is way too fussy for me to want to use - ever. It's not a skill thing, but a patience thing. UK 3.0 + Gliss is incredible.
    I also topped part of my car that has Lite on it with Gliss. It's silly how great it looks and feels.
    Gliss, Lite, and UK 3.0 are a great program in their own right.
    A detailer could offer Lite as an entry level coating, and U.K 3.0 as their top end.
    Then you could offer Gliss on top of either for an upcharge, while using Reload or Elixir as the sacrificial topper for those who decline the Gliss up charge.
    I guess I don't have room in my program for SIC either.
    I have a bottle of SIC but I'm getting ready to sell it, because of the flash time/wipe off.

    What confuses me is that some web sites and videos list the contact angle for Gliss as 115 degrees, meanwhile the box says 110 in the bottome right corner. What's the deal?

    Great video! Thx! Which has the most dust repellency? If I leave the car untouched for 2 weeks, which is supposed to have less dust on it? CQ UK, gliss, or sic?

      Thanks👍...I would say gliss and sic are the best at staying clean. They both are so good and so close either one is gonna be great. Car stays clean and even washing is so easy literally can just foam and pressure wash and the car is like 99% clean

    I have watched many videos explaining putting layer of UK 3.0 and the top layer being sic and obtaining high sliding and more durability than two layers of UK 3.0 , Do you recommend that?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  Рік тому +2

      I have not tried it personally but thats because I've heard that those products layers don't work too well actually last less. Gliis seems to be the only topper for coatings in carpor for now. Sic and UK should be used standalone in my opinion

    Great video! Can I apply Carpro SIC over UK 3.0 after it has been on for 9 months? Of will Gliss be better?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you....Its been going around that sic works well over 3.0 so yeah if you wanna apply it 9 months down the line that will be perfectly fine. Both gliss and sic will do a good job of adding protection however sic is more durable👍... I explain all the differences in the video. And make sure to prep existing coating correctly before adding top coat 👌

    Hey,! Nice channel , I have a couple questions, If I clean the surface with local self washer at the gas station,put iron x for decontamination and re-clean the vehicle with echo, is οκ to put car pro glilss and then reload to improve the gloss and hydrophobic effect ? Or will be difficult for gliss to bond the surfaces and the results will not be good?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah thats probably not the best idea the sealant in echo will be layered down and thats not an ideal base for gliss. You won't get the same results as bare paint nor the durability.

    • @user-hh8ko6cq2s
      @user-hh8ko6cq2s 2 роки тому

      @@autoexquisitedetail7706 so I should clean the car,put the iron x to contaminate the paint, apply the gliss and then reload to improve the gloss and durability ?
      Or you recommend something else besides your video instructions which is obviously the correct way but my budget can’t afford all the products you mention (and I have already purchased the products on my first comment.)

    • @danlc95

      If you re clean with Ech2o, go over it again with Eraser, as needed, then install Gliss.

    Can you apply two coats of CarPro UK 3.0 before you apply CarPro Gliss?

    • @danlc95
      @danlc95 Рік тому

      Yes. CarPro actually recommends two layers of UK 3.0 with or without Gliss.
      Miranda detailing has a video of one layer of UK 3.0 that lasted for a long time.
      Wether it be one or two layers of UK 3.0, I love Gliss on top. Gliss also works great on top of Cquartz Lite.

      @autoexquisitedetail7706  Рік тому +1

      Hi, I have not. I've heard some people have but haven't gotten that great results with durability. Its strange but I guess they just don't work too well together. I would stick with gliss and the top coat

  • @yeezhe8432

    What if i apply carpro sic 1 layer+ gliss 1 layer. The durability can last more than 18 months with proper care?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  2 роки тому +2

      You could do this however then you sort of masking the properties from SiC with similar properties of gliss I would say just do 2 layers of SiC and save the money

    What is better Gliss or Cquartz Lite on PPF incase if I don't want to for Skin?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  2 роки тому +1

      I would say cquartz lite because it's the more universal product however gliss will give you better results..however this is not official so I cant guarantee it will work but you can try it shouldn't damage the ppf

    • @danlc95
      @danlc95 Рік тому

      I'd go with Gliss. I had Skin, but I could never get it to look like the video.
      I just lightly polished off the Skin yesterday and applied Optimun Gloss Coat. It rained yesterday and the it looked GREAT! Matches the rest of the vehicle which is also done with Gloss Coat.
      If I was going to go with Car Pro I'd use Gliss. It's similar to Skin in that it doesn't really harden up the application swatches like Lite and UK 3.0 do.

    Can I apply gliss few months after a base coat of different brand ceramic coating ?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  11 місяців тому +1

      So if it’s the same brand then yeah after a good decontamination you can apply gliss however with other base products other than carpro I wouldn’t recommend as these products were designed to work with each other and there’s no guarantee it’ll work well with others

    Great video! Can you please recommend a ceramic coating that I could use on my polished alloy wheels?
    I have a polished lip and painted centres. I constantly have issues with brake dust on the polished lip that seems to cause 'pitting', and it's very difficult to clean. Once thoroughly cleaned, I would like to apply a good ceramic coating that would protect against this, and last a decent amount of time.

      Thank you, Carpro Delux is their specifically made coating for wheels. I haven't done a video on them but from experience their paint coatings are amazing so I would give that a look.
