Cute tutorial! When you want to solid colors without shading like that you don't need to have the diffuse shader at all, it'll render a little faster if you just use rgb input and/or color ramp directly On the part where you used a mix shader with 2 color ramps you could have plugged the texture directly into the output or into a mix color node if you want to adjust the colors later
