btw while i do not have the patience to sit down ans watchc someone else draw for 40 minutes i myself am an artist who will gladly sit down for over 2 hours while drawing my own works so i will draw beetle for free
You're so faaaaastttt!!!! man holy i was barely able to make a model within 5 days *cries* AND I HAVEN'T EVEN TEXTURED IT YET!!!! i'm so jelous lmao. Good work tho you do some amazing stuff!!!
As someone who has only dabbled a few times in Blender, and never really made anything of use, how did you figure out all the stuff for making characters like these? You have more of a grasp on how to use this engine than I feel like my brain will ever be able to handle. You use the shader system thing (where it looks like you're programming and connecting nodes together) pretty well, your skills on making the fur is phenominal, and you're able to make the properties of certain objects work for you. Is there a tutorial or guide somewhere that teaches you how to use these things effectively? Is there a guide for how to make characters like this in Blender without resorting to practicing with objects first? Is it mostly (or all) just practice?
it's nowhere near as complicated as it looks, and I only really have a surface level understanding of most of these things lol. I figured most of it out for myself because I despise tutorials but there's good stuff out there if you look! good luuuuck
ooo, you're experimenting with sculpting now, nice! I personally prefer sculpting since I don't animate so I don't have to retopo also just a note, can you make the subtitles a little longer, they disappear before I have time to read them :3
i loved this video, especially how you included the sketching process! :D im sure youve answered it before, but howd you get your start on Blender? The infamous donut tutorial? xD And for how long? :0 ty!
ms paint, god's chosen art program
Its a shame it doesn't have better brushes cause if it did id still be using it
i thought this was an actual irl felt doll 😭 ur modeling ans rendering is CRAZY dude

I made both models months ago actually lol, I just only bothered editing them now
@@gusguntherson9848 hahahaha thoo it looks like they were made in one sitting lmaoo well i guess editing somehow is always the longer task
question for video watchers: would you prefer shorter videos, either by cutting bits out or speeding up the footage more, or both I guess
I personally like the sped up videos, but all are nice!
sped up videos are wonderful but you could have alternate cut-down versions to put alongside the regular ones
I lika the long ones
i think as is is fine, but alternate cuts would be neat alongside current format (more videos to monetize for beetle money too :3)
Maybe give shorter videos a try, see how they do! Worth a shot me thinks. , w '
two videos back to back is crazy
The fur looks so fluffyhhh
lool bro has all of the drawing ever on a single canvas
holy shit its been so long since I saw one of yours videos, its good to see that you are as good as always
I´m so glad you came back to posting :)
