Weird I've havent seen any review for the 170 mm version. Waiting on my 170mm variant to arrive. I'm coming from a Polygon DSE... gonna use it more as an Enduro bike, hopefully it pedals better than the older model 160
Really nice bike with really smart components. Probably all the bike that 90% of riders need. What are those black screw heads on the NDS of the downtube?
12 pounds heavier than a Trek carbon hardtail which is also $1000 less. At what point does a dual suspension become not worth the weight and cost penalty
value usually goes up when a company puts a bike on sale 🤷♂️, DTC bikes like yt canyon ari and propain will always have cheaper bikes because they cut out your LBS
Awesome upload my friend!
Surly Moonlander next please!! 🤙

Guessing there's internal sleeving that's bolted down for the internal cable routing.
@@georgehsu1085it is yes I own the 170 version and the shop told me that’s what that’s for
its for external routing of the rear brake cable
Great review! What is the max compatible fork travel for this model? Keep up the great work!!
beautiful frame. Nothing is extra
I agree!
Can this bike be a 29 inch in the back also? Love the look and the feel.
Likely yes with something not super knobby
nope. its never meant for speed. thats why its the best "budget" bike out there

More comfortable to ride imo. I got a full suspension. I got a stumpjumper evo comp alloy.
Well, for a bike like this it is not that heavy. There are some not-so-light components on it so the frame itself is definitely not heavy
Why would you care about weight? It's not a roadbike
38+ pounds with pedals is heavy. Hopefully the buyer knows they'll need and use it for its intended purpose.
This bike isn’t meant for racing. It’s meant to get rowdy. Weight has little impact.
The Status 2 isn’t a Value compare to when the original Status’s were being liquidated. Look at these Canyon prices 😮.
