Yeah not the best method, but not much options out there. There have been ways to extract models while it is loaded into gpu memory. But I don't think anybody in particular has tried that method here. The method I show. Would probably be best suited as a rough starting point.
Oh yeah, it's more like a proof of concept. Need some serious hardware for better results, as my 9900k was having a hard time. There was a Blender plugin I saw on Twitter since then. That could offload what is rendered off the GPU (Example was Google Earth), and then import that cache into a scene. Not sure if was a broad application, or just Google Earth.
imagine creating your own city and exporting to GTA 🤩🤩🤩
Thats the dream!!!
interesting idea. There must be a way to extract the models from the unity save file. If only the devs were a little more open-source minded

not bad....looks like it will be good to extract small areas and modify it in blender..
Это неожиданно, догадаться фотограмметрировать 3д модель это мощно. За идею конечно респект, но честно, бред полный.
lol Jesus that's pretty bad. Thanks for the effort, but I'll pass.

Don't worry I tried it on a 2060 and it looks great. Just get a better GPU.
质量太差了,根本就没啥用
