@@LaurelT1948 I made a similar remark on another reaction that the kids need a show like Shindig again. MTV is getting stale now and we need to revitalize the excitement of fresh, young talent for kids to enjoy each week. How do you find some of the things you find? We had American Bandstand, Shindig, Hullabaloo, Where the Action Is and Hootenanny. Mom had The Grand Ol Opry and Midwestern Hayride. Dad was just happy with Football and a beer.
@@SherryDocchio You're absolutely right. We were exposed to jazz, classical music, everything. Remember Omnibus? Polka Party? Pete Seeger had his own show, too. An abundance of riches. There must be room for something like this somewhere, on our 1000 TV channels! Thanks for the great response.
@@SherryDocchio I realize I didn’t answer one of your questions- how I find things. The songs are from my record collections. I’ve always had a knack of finding things, it served me well as a file clerk! A superpower! But really, I just use search terms as specifically as I can. I’m often guided by the Righteous Brothers Discography online, which is a gem. I’ve found some things for sale on eBay, some things posted on Facebook. I look at posts in other languages. People are starting to send me things, too. It’s a fun challenge, and I love these guys (especially Bill)!
What a fantastic addition to the collection, Laurel; thank you! I know this is a family channel, but can I just say: Bill's charisma - and the way he moves his hips in "Lupe Lu" - stole the show for me.
Thanks Laurel. I love this compilation. This is by far the best performance of Koko Joe to me anyway. You can definitely tell that they loved Little Richard. There is no one better than our Righteous Brothers.
@@LaurelT1948 there is another Koko Joe performance and it's good but this one is much better to me. Bill and Bobby are both just amazing. Thank you for all you do.
@@LaurelT1948 Why did Bill stop the dancing, he looks more stiff in later video,s while Bobby always kept up the rhythm & enjoyment of dancing in later times I am always waiting for Bobby to tangle up his legs and fall over, he also did the moon walk before MJ
@TrinaKaren-r6m I really don’t know. I believe there was a motorcycle related injury at some point, but I’m really not sure. Bobby really was a great dancer! For an energetic performance by Bill, watch the Durty Dancing Luve video! ua-cam.com/video/-H52V2EYXMI/v-deo.htmlsi=sjBn_JsMtlfMIG8Z
Righteous Brothers’ Koko Joe was 🔥. 😂 Watching Little Richard it’s easy to see how he influenced so many 60’s artists.
One of the greatest! And that Koko Joe was the best I ever saw..
First time seeing this - the boys are definitely movin' and groovin' !! Definitely agree with best ever KoKo Jo. 🤗😍
So glad you liked it! Pure excitement.
Great find.... again! Boy, does it bring back memories. Never missed a night of Shindig or Hullabaloo.
Glad you liked it! We watched these shows every week, too. There is nothing like it now. The best performance of Koko Joe!

Definitely my favourite KoKoJo....😁
I must say it’s mine, too. Their antics were priceless, and Bill’s James Brown step was great! Thanks!
Ko ko Jo was my favorite as well. Their moves were great especially Bill's
@DianeAccettullo-yr1ht Yes, I agree! Bill is impressive!
You out did yourself, this is fantastic. Litte Richard is crazy. Our boys are fabulous. Thank you
Thanks. What an energetic show!

Thanks! It’s always great to see Bill shakin’ it! Loved the male chorus line at the end, too!
Bobby's cheekiness. So cute 😍
He was just so happy and energized! This may be my favorite Koko Joe.
Ah yes, the hips! Love me some Bill Medley at any age! Awfully young here ladies!
@@DonnaJohnstone-f8b Young and energetic. But just as terrific in Dirty Dancing Live, 24 years later!
Thanks Laurel. I love this compilation. This is by far the best performance of Koko Joe to me anyway. You can definitely tell that they loved Little Richard. There is no one better than our Righteous Brothers.
My favorite Koko Joe, too. This was new to me, too, and it blew me away. I had seen only Little Latin Lupe Lu before. Bill was outstanding.

Best Koko Joe performance of theirs
I agree 100%. It gives a great idea of how they must have torn it up at live performances. Bill was especially impressive! Thanks!

@@LaurelT1948 Yes..fall of 1967 he crashed his motorcycle and injured knee and ankle...
@@zanhar7688 Thanks! Poor Bill!
Did Bill catch Bobby in the face when he lifted his leg up?, it looked as if he did, Bill & Bobby also looked a bit surprised
It looked like a near miss to me, which would be enough to show surprise! I wish I could slow it down to get a good view.
I thought Bill came close to kicking Bobby in the face
LOL! They were both going at it, but it looks like Bobby was watching out! Welcome to our channel.
What is it with that middle girls trousers
I feel for her!. Not everyone can wear skin-tight clothes gracefully!
