Axe, shovel, 12V compressor, tools, off road tire repair kit, NOCO jump pack, dual battery setup, gloves, wool cap, flashlights, blanket. Who am I kidding though; I drive a Toyota. Most of that stuff is for if I come across other stranded people. 😂

Awesome vid, I like Ryan's take on preparedness for the cold season with a diesel truck. My setup matched all but a few of his. Another good item for that tote is a handful of road flares. I've used them to start a fire in the snow, they can get one going with some frozen/wet wood rather easily without wasting that boy scout water.

It’s apparent that this guy has really spent some time in the field and driving in rough conditions. With that said, he carries the entire contents of his garage with him!

Nice! My truck is pretty much the same! I do carry a extra belt and hose for under the hood! Also, a extra belt I can put on my chain saw, to the alternator! Have used it once! Thank goodness! Ryan is a inspiration to all B.C. hunters I swear! He is a true hunter, unlike say the "Primos" guys. My gear is dang near identical to his now especially for my 10,14 day B.C. hunts now!!!!!

I’ve always found it difficult to decide how to get to the hunt. Pack up and drive the truck to the trailhead or try to camp close to where I needed to hunt. Neither has worked out well for me.

Loved the video and so i am a new subscriber!
I used to freeze my butt ocf during tent camping and later camping in my truck cap. At one point i used a propane heater during during and then waking up. Not optimal for all the reasons you mentioned. Then went to a used $2000 popuo and loved that as you could still get in the backcountry. At one point i lived in a 1996 Scerro Scotty class c on a Ram 3500 diesel chassis and that was the bomb. Thinking m nexg investment will be eithef a used Alaskan campef or a used Capri Cowboy slide in for betger cold wdsther remote performance. I have a half ton ford like yours. Ut thi king of upgrading to a heav duty for ground clearance and pahload.

From experience this year have a breaker bar. Had a flat in the boonies and two lugs wouldn’t come off. Impact wouldn’t do the trick either. Needed a breaker bar to get the lugs off.

No come-along, such an essential, compact, cheap, highly useful tool. All my pickups have one. My 2 cents. Great video.

The high lift is what replaces my come-along if needed. Can be used the same👍

Howls is trash for diesels it don’t lubricate like it advertises and it still jells easily…there is a lot better products for the same price that actually works
