- With Nailah Blackman as their flag woman, Desperadoes Steel Orchestra put on a spectacular performance to win the Panorama competition for Carnival 2020. The band played the soca tune, "More Sokah" which was composed by Nailah Blackman and Sekon Star and sung by Nailah Blackman.
Congratulations to the Panorama Champions. 2020..on your fantastic rendition..You Reign supreme!💯🇹🇹🎉Sweet Pan..you sizzled!

Nailah Blackman is the most important young performer for Trinidad culture cause in the height of her fame she continues to have a strong attachment to the pan and has not abandoned same like so much of her contemporaries

I just wish the beautiful sound of the pans had been better captured. Fantastic performance though! Those hands are like lightning, and even while they dance so wildly and interact with other so seamlessly. A well deserved win.

This video has now received over 107,000 views as of February 6th, 2021. Desperadoes finally did something from 2016 through 2020 that Starlift did from 1968 through 1972. All Stars did it from 1980 through 1984 plus and in 2006 through 2010 plus. Phase II did it in 1986 through 1990, then from 2002 through 2006 plus and from 2011 through 2016. Renegades did it from 1989 through 1993 plus and from 2013 through 2017 plus. Exodus did it from 1995 through 1999 plus. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS? LOL.
I am a renegades fan, i gotta say, this tune was great, but only the ending half, the first half was a traditional panorama tune. But id love to go down the road jouvert morning to this riddim. But i feel renegades shoulda won. Renegades had a great panorama tune, despers had a good party tune. They were great in their own way

pan has always been politics in Trinidad is steel pan music that gave Trinidad it's independence, it's a real shame that only approximately 10% of Trinidad population knows the facts of Trinidad independence and politics .
Focus more on the players, get off the girl.
Great performance, very good execution, yet I don't think it had enough to take first place. The one important downfall with Renegades is, this is a steel band competition and not a broadway show. Too much emphasis is being directed to a side show of no importance. Desperadoes did not truly win. Renegades shot themselves in the foot. That's like a golfer missing a 12 inch. put to win a golf championship. All Despers had to say was, thankyou. Hope they learn from that and correct that crap show. Congratulation Despers.

Old timeish, can't believe this is a winning piece. Renegades sounds way better. Nothing interested in the arrangement to cling to. Plain old fashion, they really needs to upgrade and improve on modernising their style. The arrangement was all over the place with no form of coordination . It's a Damon shame. Renegades, All stars, Invaders .that's how it should finish

I listening four days now, and I can't and truly understand how they bet All Stars. Now don't get me wrong, u all sound great, but not to win.
