Got some good tips off this one! That different types of trimmers disperse the clippings in different directions. The tips on using the blower on the mulch to keep from messing it up. I never thought to use my blower to knock down the cobwebs, much easier than a broom. Praying for your family and the family member who is ill. God Bless each if you.

I tried a set of Stens blades one time that did the same thing. You could hear the deck start rattling and then a clump would come out. Some blades just won’t work with some decks. That same blade may work great with another deck design though.

Maybe run the blades with the discharge closed and see if it distributes the clippings evenly... I never had good results with the discharge open when running mulching blades as the clippings weren't tossed around enough to chop them up finely.
