I always put the truck it in neutral with the foot on the brakes when loading a pallet of something. It'll save the unnecessary lunge forward on your transmission!
whenever i mow, i try to mow in a different patterns. up, down/ diagonal/left, tight. all the lawns i mow in new england will end up with ruts if i go the same way all the time.
I mowed my sisters front yard yesterday 12/27.. Also back in Dec 1989 I was on first leave in Navy since bootcamp, at my Moms in La Grande Oregon, it was 52 degrees so I was splitting wood and mowing lawn.. =)~
True professionals, I’m glad to see you guys take so much pride in what you do. All of these developments we mow in I see people just doing things to get it done. Happy new year
84 in Houston Tx. Today ! No snow but the grass is not growing either! So there’s that! Plenty leaves on the grown so we know it’s fall! Keep mowing , snowing and making money guys! Enjoying your videos !Happy New Year!
How big is that lot you did? seems large. I have .42 acre here at my house in Dayton. It takes me about an 1 1/2 hours to do my lawn. not counting the trimming part.. I like to do that a day before I mow cause it is hard on me.. But I really enjoy the mowing part.
I use to mow this late here in Nicholasville Kentucky. I was using a push mower. I wanted the lawn kept low because I use to over seed my lawn before we had our first decent snow. It made for a beautiful lawn in the spring. Now I work 70 hours a week and I hire my lawn mowed. I love my lawn guy. At 65 and not planning to retire until I’m 70, I think I’m keeping my lawn guy. Great work. Looks terrific! Happy New Year!🇺🇸
I learned long ago do what the person who pays you says, ignore direction from any body that says different. Don't turn down extra work, especially in slow times, get paid fairly for it. If necessary to keep workers make sure your employees get paid and you break even.
I live in Western Ny and we have the largest salt mine for rock salt in the eastern part of the USA. The "American Rock Salt" company and mind is In Geneseo NY which is about 30 minutes from where I Live.
I was doing the first snowfall of the season yesterday. I typically do two passes around the edge gives a little more space so I don't blow grass in the beds.
I did the same thing today. Well not so much the mowing but just cleaning up the machines and working on trucks and getting things done that was put on the "winter todo" list.
Dont you just love it when your cutting wet grass and you turn off the blades and the grass built up under the deck dumps. We always have our spots in each customers your where we can dump the decks.
I think that's the greenest I have seen that property and its winter time!! What did you film that in wide screen or regular mode. Great video for the winter grass cutting LOL.
Wow I was just out cleaning snow off the skating rink on the frozen river -40 windchill here in Alberta Canada. Yard looks great enjoy cause the snow is coming.
Working in lawn care in Michigan and we were doing Fall Cleanups until December 20th this year and didnt start until maybe the last week or so in November.
Made that yard look great for the conditions you had. You have a stripe kit underneath behind the mowing deck? I have the checkmate that attaches to the stand, but it can be a nuisance at times making the bumps more stiff in my knees. Keep grindin, and TQ did a killer job with that trimmer.
Your lovely wife wears pink well and I liked the size of that coffee cup. Good job guys, I am new on board so looking forward to more adventures. May God bless.
With the way the weather is shaping up going into next week Shawn you might need another skid or two but like you say Keep Plowing Keep Salting Keep Making Money Stay safe and Happy New Year to the Spencer Family
I scope the yard, then start the mower, that way no stoppin’ me now!! 😜🤣 … I too, have a huge pine tree in my front yard, so over the pine cones and falling branches!
I can't believe how warm it was on Christmas day here in Knoxville Tennessee it was in the 60s this weather is weird mother nature needs to get back on cue hope you all had a Merry Christmas I love the new puppy I'm down for about 15 days so I'm going to be watching a lot of videos so keep me formed keep me excited I love you too to death you're very inspirational to other couples that can work together live together have kids together y'all are just amazing couple
Wow! 2 months later and just look at those stripes in the back yard! I cannot believe those stripes look that good after that much time. NOBODY can fault your stripes. Lookin goooodd! And here I thought the weather was strange in TN., here it is almost New Years and you are mowing one day and plowing the next. :D Get'er dun Shawn, Get'er dun.
You do an amazing job. And at least that yard is large enough to where it makes sense using as large of a mower as you use. The lawn companies around where I live use mowers like yours on neighborhood yards that only take 2 or 3 loops with that size mower lol
I'm dealing with a new landlord who has decided to hire a company to cut and maintain the yard. Unlike you, they don't seem to care about the nuances of moisture present during the lawn care process. In 3 weeks they destroyed all of the hard work I put into the in some places, months old lawn. Now I have to try to convince him to fire them and let me do it again... they literally mowed in pouring rain and just destroyed everything. They mowed well into November. Grrr. It's appreciated that you took moisture into account.
Hey Shawn. That yard looked magnificent compared to a few months ago when those darned army worms took over. Looked even better after y’all got done with it. Y’all weren’t the only ones mowing today. I saw a man mowing his yard here in my neighboring town today also. Believe it or not it did need to be mowed. Hard to believe here in the end of December. Lol. Before you know it it’ll be time to start mowing all over again. Keep up the great work y’all!!!
I always put the truck it in neutral with the foot on the brakes when loading a pallet of something. It'll save the unnecessary lunge forward on your transmission!
Love that back yard. Reminds me of our yard growing up in small town Pennslyvania. Can easily lay out a Wiffleball field.
whenever i mow, i try to mow in a different patterns. up, down/ diagonal/left, tight. all the lawns i mow in new england will end up with ruts if i go the same way all the time.
That yard looks beautiful. Great job as always.
3-1/5 to 4 is so healthy for a nice fescue yard.... keeps it looking like spencers lawn has it
I'm shocked the grass is still green there as long as it has been. Does it stay green all winter? Nothing but brown yards where I'm at.
I mowed my sisters front yard yesterday 12/27.. Also back in Dec 1989 I was on first leave in Navy since bootcamp, at my Moms in La Grande Oregon, it was 52 degrees so I was splitting wood and mowing lawn.. =)~
Quick tip for hard salt. Pour alittle windshield wiper fluid into the bag. Breaks its up and softens it
Hard work,& love. Great words to live by . Have a blessed evening.💯❤️🙏🏾✝️🙏🏾👍🏾😀🇺🇸
Absolutely have a blessed new year!
Nice work on your friends house. You got it lookin' good ! Happy new and prosperous year for the Spencers !

No mowing on Cape Cod today. It was 46 degrees but cloudy very wet out sine the weekend rains.

I have always cut to the hight you want then pick up the deck half inch mow the opposite way it'll level the grass and blow the clumps out
I watch y’all all the way from MD and I’ll just say that I’m so inspired by your videos and journey! Keep up the great work. 💪🏾
Good to see y'all again. It's been. Awhile
I live in Western Ny and we have the largest salt mine for rock salt in the eastern part of the USA. The "American Rock Salt" company and mind is In Geneseo NY which is about 30 minutes from where I Live.
Always appreciate you are working on projects. Upgrading conditions. We have low snow. Promised a four day pattern, only one day came through.
Wow December 28 cutting grass all I can say is WOW. Live in Ontario Canada just enough snow to cover grass but WOW
Yeah I would have never thought
Maybe in Florida lol
You better start greasing your hitch ball on both trucks before you start cracking the trailer hitch socket..
Yard looks amazing keep up the good work guys be safe out there and stay warm
Good evening here in San Diego it's raining and I'm freezing. Hehehe it's 55 cold. Be safe 👍👍👍👍
Thank you! I would take 55

You're not the only one. Mine needs cutting as well. I live in the UK and I'm sure my grass is still growing.
Haha yeah i was looking at my grass also but ill skip it this week lol
Dont you just love it when your cutting wet grass and you turn off the blades and the grass built up under the deck dumps. We always have our spots in each customers your where we can dump the decks.

Oh nice! always have something to do.
Made that yard look great for the conditions you had. You have a stripe kit underneath behind the mowing deck? I have the checkmate that attaches to the stand, but it can be a nuisance at times making the bumps more stiff in my knees. Keep grindin, and TQ did a killer job with that trimmer.

It got up to 72゚ today in North Carolina Grass is growing☀️
Very nice!
You're good people to help as you do. Surprised you didn't tie off the skid so it didn't slide as that gentleman did on the highway that you helped.
She's definitely a hell of a weed whipper! I teach my guys to stretch them arms when weed whipping large areas the same way. Great job!
Finally, someone else who blows off their mowers like I do, instead of bringing that junk back onto your trailer and home. Bravo you two !!
Great job guys!

As usual you two are on it good job. What grade of gas do you run in small engines ? I use premium avoid regional, carb and line ruins .
That would have been a good job for the bagger. I haven't seen the grass in my yard for 2 months now ⛄⛄
We are getting 4 inches right now in Wisconsin
Nice just rain right now here
You do an amazing job. And at least that yard is large enough to where it makes sense using as large of a mower as you use. The lawn companies around where I live use mowers like yours on neighborhood yards that only take 2 or 3 loops with that size mower lol
If i had the know how, i would make a roller for the trimmer so it stays level as it cuts
Awesome video! What do you think the best deck height is for striping like this? Thanks
That property had a nice deck in the back.
When are you guys going too get more cups in? I would like to buy one when they become available, so please let me know when this happens.
Awesome job. Shawn you need to get a Bak Rack and a light bar for the other truck.
I'm dealing with a new landlord who has decided to hire a company to cut and maintain the yard. Unlike you, they don't seem to care about the nuances of moisture present during the lawn care process.
