Not good to use a high speed grinding disc for anything but grinding. You don't want to see them flying apart at high speed when their integrity has been compromised.

home owners need to be aware you can buy screens to cover your gutters to keep out the leaves and not plug the drains ,I do enjoy your new format and longer videos we get to see the whole operation from beginning to the pack up to leave

I admit you're my favourite channel on this topic as your commentary is always concise and informative and with no nonsense as well as the videos showing what is really going on and how much work is actually involved in resolving the problems. I watch your channel all the way from the United Kingdom, Europe. I find it both fascinating and educational seeing how things are done in Australia. I think the thing about the stormwater drain videos that sets them apart is that the systems have a beginning, a middle (getting to the 'root' of the problem) and an end, both figuratively and literally that you can feature making a complete story. Are the hose bibs (outside taps) in Australia the quarter-turn type? I am curious as when you connect the water feed hose for the jetter, you barely seem to open the valve. For my own machine it's a case of always opening the valve fully, maybe back it off a small amount so it's not hard against the stop, to allow maximum flow and protect the high pressure pump from the damaging effects of air being drawn due to water starvation. I also wonder if it might be helpful if there was compressed air available to blow the hoses through and reduce the weight of them. Other than that, I hope you had a great Christmas and wish you a happy and prosperous new year!

Those roots were entering by the other downspout, would have checked the riser for some roots as well on that junction.

in my area, roof gutter downspouts just run off onto the top of the ground. seems overly complicated routing them into drain pipes
