As a fellow musician and singer, I can say that it is incredibly hard to sustain and maintain such a high level of energy when you are playing a pop song like this with no singer. The sax player on the right has so much swag, and attitude to his playing that I could totally listen to this version on a regular basis. This is great musician ship and stage presence and I’m really glad I found this video. If you are any sort of instrumentalist, you can learn a lot from this guy

Disagree: Alto 1 brings too much energy, it's an overload. He's breaking the balance of the song by playing everything too loud and adding a too-pop vibrato/embrochure over a Funky song (Funk sax ≠ pop sax). He is in the line that separates music and noise, and, from My perspective, he crossed it a bit

I play sax,guitar,keys,violin,bass,drums,sing,anyone with drive can play cross-harp, the only thing I Am learning here is I have been cheated and underappreciated for 50 years (72 yrs old now, painting houses,live music is mostly non-existent.

4:12 is the nastiest growl and one of my favorite so far. Randall Clark never dissapoint when it comes to growl sound.

I'm Nil and I had Mr Clark when I was in band at Corner Canyon HS and let me tell you that he was the best teacher. I'm from Spain, and I came to America with a really low clarinet level. Music didn't really ment anything to me till I see how fun it can be. I don't know if he remembers me, but he made me love music. Maybe this dpesn't mean anything to anyone, but I think he sould be really proud of his job and what he is doing with all those kids. I hope I'll meet you in the future.

I witnessed Eric Darius performed at the Cancun Jazz festival 2018 and he turned it out even when it started raining the guy came out into the audience and jammed his butt off. He was amazing!

Bought a cannonball raven tenor last year. After 30 years playing on a Selmer I got to say the Cannonball is so flexible and fun to play it’s amazing ! Plus the quality is spot on 👍

I think Eric must be one of the best contemporary sax players on the planet. He shreds the horn, all kinds of monster madness in this scene, and I don’t normally post - but had to put a post above the lame comment from two right shoes below.
