- Being successful in insurance repair claims in 2022 for roofing contractors, general contractors and insurance restoration contractors requires that you have a detailed understanding of how Xactimate works, what a public adjuster's process is like, an appraiser time frame consists of and what the hype is all about, when it comes to some contractors and public adjusters who utilize the "lump sum method".

I know it's been awhile for me, guys! This video comes from my very first event back out there in almost 3 years. I can't tell you how excited I was and still am. This event took place at the Embassy Suites in Frisco, Texas, on June 10th, 2022, as part of my #10TenTownsTour (Note: I have to find another name for this tour because I have already added 13 more cities to it through next July of 2023!). There were 86 contractors who made it out for this one.
There will be lots of new content coming for this channel! I have 2 or 3 more videos coming from this event. And then 2 weeks later I did another one in Houston for 120 contractors! So there will be lots of new content from that event as well. And all of the other events going forward.
Also, there was some footage that was captured that is audio only, which is perfect for the Practitioner Podcast... so be sure to watch for that as well.
I've missed doing these events a great deal! I've grown a lot these past couple of years. I can't wait to share the new version of myself. I'm back with a mission and an attitude. I also miss filming and editing and uploading these videos to UA-cam. I love UA-cam and I'm sincerely proud of my body of work over the last 6-7 years. What I said back then still holds true.

Great Videos. QUESTION: If I'm not the contractor - and I want to be just the liaison/consultant for Storm Resto Work - I can bill what I want (I assUme) but can the Homeowner use my "Consulting Receipt" as counting towards their deductible? This would be paid upfront or as they got their first ACV PMT..?

Amazing question, my friend. Thank you for that! And that’s for watching! 🙌🙏 I’m afraid that one would be very difficult to pull off. Insurance companies will typically deny consulting related fees unless it’s related to engineering, etc…. or even a building consultant. I’ve never been successful passing along my consulting fees for approval from carriers. I’m always open to new ways of doing things though. Always looking to improve so it’s an incredibly intriguing question. Again, thank you. Please stay tuned! 🙏💖👊😉
