i love this movie. this film is to gamers what "reefer madness" is to stoners. and it has the opposite of the intended effect. i know very few people who have even heard of this movie, but every single one that has says it only heightened their interest in D&D, a few of them being shown this movie by their parents in an attempt to scare them away from the game. one of them later got into larp and said the movie gave him the desire to do so. parents are stupid.

After that player was murdered by them, he was raised as a lich and made commander of an army and marched against the players. That was an interesting end to the campaign. Then they all rolled new characters and we started a new campaign

You'll find out that most of the games that people are so terrified of are just our childhood play with a lot more rules to make it fair. In fact... that applies to everything we play, sports included.
