I'm currently in the market and looking for a new amp right. However, I've got to say say in my opinion that cabinet sounded like crap. It was like cardboard. In fact, I did not care for the sound of this amplifier through the cab at all. It seems like it is designed more for recording with all the different cab Sims which are great for that. Probably that's the reasoning behind this model. It also seemed as if it was having a hard time handling the hotter output from the Spector. I would have liked to hear this setup with a regular passive bass. I am surprised since there are probably far more Precision bass guitars in use throughout the world than any other brand or type that you didn't use one of those as part of this demo. I think for now I might have to crush this particular model off of my list. I'll reserve my final judgment until I get to actually play through one in person though. The regular tone hammer might be a better option for me. I'm pretty much an old school rocker as far as my style and the music I play. This was a nice demo and you are definitely an excellent player with a lot of talent. Thanks for sharing your talent and your opinion on this rig.
i would think tone hammer for that world of tones. the combination of Gain + Drive knobs on the Hammer will make it easier if you're not using an external overdrive
I said this in JBA, but this style sound is what I associate with Aguilar based on their old rigs
I still like the TH much more, but I appreciate the quality demo. I like the tones you got out of the Spector too
