Look at the love these two had between them, it is just so obvious, real and joyful. May they both RIP.
What a classy lady. RIP Dixie Carter. You could see the love between her and Hal Holbrook.
I could watch Hal and Dixie interacting together all day. You could see the love they had for each other in each look or each touch. True Love 💕
I am so glad I saw this....I was always a huge fan of both of them...I adored Dixie....being from Texas and a true Southerner, she was the best....perfectly lovely. Seeing these two together and acting like kids and seeing how much Hal adored her....glad I came across this....RIP, Dixie...
If you understand that this is last time they will sail on their boat, then you'll understand the film and the way it's filmed. I was compelled to keep watching. I didn't know Holbrook sailed...an amazing 25000 miles.
Both pretty awesome actors rest in peace Dixie
Just delightful hearing them reminisce about the joy of sailing on the oceans.
I loved Dixie and Hal and their wonderful house staff! Rest In Peace to a wonderful couple!😢
I would ALWAYS find a part for Hal Holbrook. And I'd watch anything he's In!!
Great actor. Unmistakable iconic voice.
Rip Dixie.
Always in our hearts🙏💔💔
You could see the love they had for one another. So beautiful. R.I.P. Dixie Carter a.k.a. Julia Sugarbaker
Loved this thank you cheers from Pennsylvania 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I just started watching. It is so emotional for me. I love that one can see & feel the love between them. I really love how physically expressive they are with each other. They way they communicate. I have been told my husband and are like this. I am so sorry for Mr. Holbrook's loss.
O wow thank you so much for sharing this with us. I love seeing them together. Such wonderful people.
Rest In Peace Mr Hal Holbrook and Ms Dixie Carter.
You can see how much Hal and Dixie loved one-another.
This is great! Thank you for uploading. Great to see them all together here. The vintage film footage at the end was awesome!
It's Portious Wheeler!
you are a beautiful gal Mrs dixie. I will never forget you girl ! amazing you never met me or all you pet friends.
I think they must have known she had little time left because its an ending and its not just about the boat. This is sad
Rest in Peace, Hal.
In the Ocean Sailing does anyone know Bob the New Zealander with him? Is he still in Honolulu? Pure Class. Excellent Sailor.
Bob Rossiter is the sailor from New Zealand that sailed with Hal and Dixie. He was at The Mariners' Museum and Park about 12 years ago. I believe that he was living out west at the time; but have not had any contact with him since.
Yup thank yoiu. I Sailed with him on the. White Eagle. 83 Foot Palmer Johnson. From Hii to Vancouver BC. And Hi to Glacier Bay. A fine Man taught me allot of things. Hope he's well. Shall look for him Thanks.
What a wonderful woman.
If God shines on you, he will give you a love like these two obviously had.
Yours is an especially beautiful comment. So true that enduring love and honest companionship are only given to select couples. The world would be so much better if there were far more of these loving relationships.
RIP Hal Holbrook
