no, you don't want to keep them out. carbon monoxide gets into your cabin. you can't smell it, but it's bad news. I only pull my plugs when rain gets in
You could possibly work out where they are and cut holes or slits in the bed rug/bed tred to access them???? For sure, the product does not have cut outs for access (at least in 2019 when I got mine they didn’t)
I am totally underwhelmed with the BedRug for this model of Jeep. For the price, there has to be better options. I am installing mine now and am seriously considering sending them back. The fit isnt that much better than factory and it doesnt address the issue with the carpet slipping - the velcro simply isnt sufficient. I am disappointed.
No it does not. If anything, maybe a little noisier. There are aftermarket tapes and other noise dampeners that you can buy and install along side this - look for car audio retailers - they will have them and/or Amazon.
Glad this video was published. Looking forward to getting a bed rug.
Heat shield put on wrong, to find where the Velcro is on the inside just look 👀 for the Stitching on the outside 😉
What happens when you need to take it out to clean or drain water? How do you re-velcro everything back down? Doesn’t it tear it up when pulling out?
@@epatnode75 no, not if it's properly installed 😉
What about water getting underneath it?
Water getting underneath and/or dirt will lead to rust developing.
How does this do with dog hair? Easy to clean up?
Its decent. But you need to stay on top of it with an occasional vacuum or the hair will get pushed down into fibers.
With the bedtred there is no problem with dog hair. This is the very reason I switched out my carpet for the bedtred.
Where can I get that trunk subwoofer?
That's a factory Jeep subwoofer.
@@northridgenation I have an 08 jk and my sub is up on the side, any kit to move it to the cubby?
Can I upgrade and add 10mm this heat/sound shield under this?
10mm thick? That might make it pretty tight.
Give it a shot and let us know how it worked.
@@northridgenation just found this spray in ceramic insulation I’m going that route but I’ll let you know.
what about access to the drain plugs?
Brian Murphy just pull them out

@@brianmurphy5313 that might be why I get crazy tired when I drive the jeep...
