Imagine if that line got twisted at the end after they defeat Vecna and the Mindflayer with Vecna leaving a surviving piece of himself inside Max just like how the Mindflayer did to Billy hence I'M STILL HERE
This scene hit so hard. The whole episode is her literally fighting with her own demons and almost giving up. But remembering the times that make life worth living brought her back 👏
For me, this is the best scene in the whole series. I can't believe how intense it still is after multiple rewatches, the color and the song and Sadie's incredible acting, just great! I was so sure the writers were gonna kill her character off as a big "this season is dark" moment, and I'm so glad they didn't, because it sends a powerful "you can get through it" message.

I don’t know if anyone noticed but Steve, Dustin and Lucas who were around Max were actually the OG babysitting crew in season two and that there the ones who are around her when she learns she needs her friends is very poetic and impactful.
@@energyplayz7485 and how was my comment in any way offensive or disrespectful of this excellent scene that you need to reply with a stupid attitude? Maybe I could have worded it different but I wasn't trying to troll. Also, I do believe towards the end of these first episodes they theorize that its not actually the music that saves them but the love they feel from their friends. Stop trying to find the negative in every comment someone posts.
Max’s character shows a clear example of what it feels like to deal with depression every single day. In a way the depression begins to make you forget every good memory you’ve had as if you’ve never been happy. This scene shows a perfect view of one’s mind dealing with depression and finally wanting to live and fight to survive to reach one’s happiness and remember that everything isn’t as it may seem. To get out of your own mind and actually realize that life has so much to give. The best of the song does it for me everytime!
Omg I'm bawling my eyes out as I rewatch this scene and read all the comments. We are not alone in this ❤️ We all have own struggles and this scene is magical because we can all relate. Just remember all the of good times and keep going 💪
I remember watching it when I was only 23 yo and fighting cancer with many series of chemo. Now I am still coming back to this song when day to day „problems” take over to remind myself what journey I had to make to be able to say I’m still here.
this scene is just terrific. Reading a letter to Billy, transition into nightmare, memories about friends, choosing life and finally escaping... pure art
As someone who hasn’t seen the show, I disagree. This was only emotional if you know the context. There are great scenes that you get emotional if you’ve never seen the show or movie. This isn’t it

Without a doubt, the best tv moment I've seen in a long time. "I'm still here" echoes so loud to so many people who are suffering from depression and feel like giving up on life. You fight through it. You hold memories in your mind that keep going ... you never give up.
Max realized that she has friends- her best friends (Lucas, Dustin, Mike, Will, El) and the power of friendship and love and that's what made her to fight back.. Max didn't think about her parents nor her bully brother, Billy, because all she got is her best friends and their frienship...!!
The piano outro. It’s so unbelievably incredibly beautiful. The addition of it is elegant, fragile, and delicate. Simply beautiful. It touches the deepest part of my heart. I’m floored by how amazing the entirety of this scene is especially that ending. Maybe my favorite part of any tv show ever… this scene, the music, this outro…. Perfection.

Some thing about her determination and her will to live and her friends never giving up on her plus the song playing was perfect lol don’t listen to these dipshits out here, scene was powerful as shit, god bless you!
I thought a piano or a concrete piece would drop on her as she was running. Wouldn't know about this TV series if it weren't for my 13 year old niece. Good show 👍
This scene has to be one of my all-time favorites of anything I've seen on TV in years. The evil buildup of Vecna, combined with Max's willpower to escape is just so amazing with this song. It all like works so perfectly.
Even after all the craziness of Vol 2, this is IMO the best scene of Season 4 and one of the most powerful scenes on Stranger Things ever. They took a trope that's been done many times and is often a cliché (the power of love and friendship overcomes everything, etc.) but contextualized and executed it so well, in this metaphor for one's struggle against being consumed by depression and suicidal thoughts, that it feels entirely fresh.
@@khabibmcgregor3592 no that’s literally what it represents. She even talks about being depressed and how she just wishes she could join Billy. Not to mention that’s kinda what the song is about to. You’re just not looking into it enough.

This scene. This season. This villain. The acting. The analogies and metaphors. I just finished it and it’s my favorite so far. I’m going to have to rewatch it before volume 2 comes out. Just amazing.
I think for a lot of us this scene made the entire season. In fact, I think it’s my favorite scene out of all of the seasons. I still tear up when I watch it. The combination of the emotion and the music and the friends trying desperately not to lose her just makes you want to live. When you see them putting their hands on their heads and freaking out when she’s in the air and yelling her name and the tear rolls down her cheek, pure genius.
I dont have ptsd or depression but i have social anxiety and this scene really speaks to me. Espessially when he says " theres a reason you hide from them."
Vecna being the personification of guilt, depression, and suicidal thoughts makes him such an effective villain and metaphor for the series. I really loved how they built up Max's emotional struggles to cope with Billy's death despite their complicated past, and then how it was negatively affecting her personality and relationships. The way Max is able to finally break through that to escape from Vecna when she realizes she has people who care about her and she has reasons to keep living was just really powerful. I legitimately broke into tears during this sequence because Max finally overcoming her struggles felt so real. The bonds between these characters are just so strong and it's impossible to not get invested in them. Scenes like this are why I love this show so much.
@@andyb6400 because Max, a beloved character, was struggling and was about to die, and this is where she finds the strength to react and find her way back to her friends and realizes she wants to live. It's a very relatable scene for those who struggle with depression or feelings of hopelessness.
@@jamesbrthjk4783 predictable and shallow. this scene had so much god damn depth. your pea brain couldn't even pair vecna to the ward and you want to comment on the best scenes from ST????????????
What’s beautiful is that this scene was used as a way to show Max didn’t truly want to die, she just wanted something to live for. When she found it, she was able to fight and get back to her life and those she loved.
I highly concur, I loved when they flashed back to Max's memories with her friends, and how they were there for her, even after she pushed them away. 💖
I don’t understand what makes this scene so great. It’s just vecna taking way longer than the other kills because she’s the main character. And her running into some portal with some 80s music.
Fr man every time I watch this scene I cry, even though I know that Max escapes I watch it purely for how amazing the scene is. Episode 4 and 7 are easily the best from the volume.
i have clinical depression, and when i finally watched this, i related to it so much. finally getting into therapy, getting medication instead of letting it take over me

@@nobodyspecial675 Stranger things and Arcane and Bojack Horseman have better anti-suicide scenes and way better psychologically than that show. That show glorifies it, meanwhile the 3 I mentioned above, show the cruel reality of mental trauma, ESPECIALLY Arcane.
1 season, this is all this show should have been, then it would have been magical the age of the actors is critical to this kind of series and they should always be 12-13 not a day older. remember we saw all this shticks on fringe already, you do remember 2000's fringe, although not as great as "lost" and "breaking bad", it is "fringe" that became your reality in 2020's and this show "stranger things" took a lot out of fringe, problem is.. it is a whole different generation now and things have greatly changed to the worse.
This is, in every way, an amazingly well-written scene. Max's absolute fear knowing how close she was to death, her friends doing everything they could to try save her but ultimately it being up to her to find the courage to break free. Anyone who has battled mental health issues or lost someone to suicide knows how moving the scene is. 5 star performances from both Sadie Sink and Jamie Campbell Bower.
I have severe depression, then separated my knee cap - the thoughts are more vivid and intense - depression, loneliness, physical pain transmuting into mental pain - II watch this scene to remind thyself we are not alone
I have severe anxiety and a lot of past trauma. While, this scene always hit home with me and always made me tear up, I never put two and two together. Your comment broke me and I thank you so so, so much for it.
I had some kind of psychotic break / manifestation of potential bipolar disorder last year subsequent to a traumatic experience. This scene resonates with me a lot Damn, sometimes I even imagine myself as Max in this scene, constantly running into the light and trying to stray away (as much as I physically can) from the dark. Obviously, I'm better now, but I was in a living hell for the first half of 2022. Just as a reminder that this scene can not just be confined to PTSD and depression. It may resonate with someone's anxiety, their bipolar, their schizophrenia, their BPD, their DID.
i related to this scene a lot because sometimes when im my lowest i say that “ theres no point for me to live anymore “but then i get all of these running flashbacks ,when i was happy. this scene made me cry because she was close to just giving up but she found the “ happy memories” she found a reason to live.
The scene was so powerful and the song is so sad. When you think about it, she talks about making a deal, switching places with someone. Max is really depressed. She does not feel like she deserves to be alive, and she feels guilty because she did not try to save her stepbrother. This is her favourite song because she wants to swap places with Billy.
On the second side of this album, there is a song where a little girl ice skating, falls through a crack in the ice and starts drowning, Kate's character, is in a dream and somehow connects with the girl, Kate tries to swap places with the girl to protect her "Let's exchange the experience" a dark voice of a man (death?) who tries to judge her. But the soul of the little girl intervenes and stops the process. Basically saying this is my death & my experience. My journey, Let me live it. Kate wakes up from the dream and calls everyone she loves, Her mother, her brother to tell them how much she loves them. This whole album is a trip.
Yeah at what point do you stop kicking yourself. If it’s not when some mind invading monster who preys on your trauma (not to mention is also a huge asshole) is about to break your body into bits and rip your eyes idk when it is.
@@saavanelias8059 is it so wrong to say someone deserves an award for such a performance? I’m not going to be ashamed about the fact that I enjoy this show and I mean that Sadie sink has come a long way with her acting and deserves to be recognised for it.
The look on her face when she is running for her life is amazing acting, especially for someone so young. I’ve seen it, that’s what it looks like. A sliver of hope in front of you, endless despair behind you. A book could be written about the amount of emotion behind that mentality.
TW** Attempted murder. On September 8th, 2020 my ex of 11 years was arrested for second degree attempted murder against me. He was beating me in a car on an extremely desolate road as it began snowing. At one point I was moved from the front seat to the back in an effort to escape his blows. On the floor of the back seat was a high heel shoe that I used to hit him in the head (as he was in the driver seat). Hitting him caused to open the door and try to retreat outside. In that moment I reached between the two front seats in an effort to close the car door but he grabbed me by my arm so fast he pulled me out of the car entirely. He was trying to drag me to the trunk by my hair when I saw two cars pull up/stop in the near distance and the running I did to one of those cars was exactly like this 😔 time felt so slow. I felt him right behind me and was the most scared I’ve ever been. I made it to the car who let me in, called 911 and drove off to a safe area. An ambulance came to get me and I was safe. But this scene made me physically shake due to how well it was made. Utterly moving.
Yeah, I could imagine the feeling in my legs again from running for exercise. Your exhausted but you have to keep running, and like an imaginary tingling feeling of weakness in all your limbs, wanting to give up, the burning in your air ways and lungs trying to switch between inhaling and exhaling as quick as possible. Wanting to just stop or collapse and say frick it, goodbye. And I can't help but think how she has that desire to live in her eyes that Alucard lost so many years ago, a respectable thing it is to him. I guess that line from the show or abridged version never really left, did it?
I think its hard to show depression in cinema, especially a show that is surrounded by shlocky 80s themes, without it coming off whiney. But holy shit, she killed it.
Usually when you are close to losing, dying, the survival instinct kick in and you literally go to the jugular of the problem... I was expecting this, but still he scene is so beautiful and powerful.
This is one of the most moving, emphatic, and racing moments I’ve ever watched - I was on the edge of my seat praying Max made it. Sadie Sink deserves an Emmy for this performance in general.
Max’s struggle reflects what so many people with depression go through. Vecna saying her friends can’t help her, embodies something depression would say. She thought about the ones who who cared for her and fought to still be here. This scene reached me at the perfect time. Keep going and keep fighting!!
Having recently lost someone to suicide, this whole episode really spoke to me. I fight with depression myslef but all I can really do is wonder about my friend. And wonder what if I had called more and showed I cared. Sometimes friends are all we have.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one; me too my friend, me too. This reached me at the absolute perfect time in my life. Beyond the spectacle, what a fantastic message this is for younger generations watching this show, especially in our day and age... Don't look internally when facing your struggles and regrets, look outwards to the people that love, cherish, and care for you - who will give you their time no matter what, as long as it means you can overcome your trauma. When this scene begun, I rolled my eyes in how corny it was to me. When this scene ended, I was sitting in a puddle of tears.
"There's a reason you hide from them. You belong here, with me." Words like these, people with depression feel inside every day. Their depression is their dark world, which is where Max landed in this scene. I have depression myself, and so does my daughter. This scene is the best, most motivating scene I've ever seen. "I'm still here" gives hope. I lack the words to describe what I felt when I saw this scene for the first time. I was speechless.

@@retrotechgames-diyrepair4691 You're just forcing your way through your depression. Don't try to act like you've done the impossible. Mark my words, it'll come back, when you're done fighting, when you're done struggling. It'll come back worse than ever. And on that day, you'll know how worthless this kinda sentiment you're spewing really is. You still have a lot of growing up to do and a lot to learn about mental health in general if your idea to "conquer" it is by being a cocky asshole on the internet.
I really loved this season, it felt like such a smart way to tackle issues like mental health without making it feel boring or tone deaf (13 reasons why I'm looking at you). It's kind of validating to see how Vecna is shown as a real threat because it seems like people in the real world think mental health is "less important" because it's not visible or tangible like a wound. But that's what makes it dangerous, that's what makes Vecna dangerous. The lack of visible signs until it's too late is what killed these poor kids, and it's the support from others that helped Max live.
100% agree AND I highly recommend reading the book 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher if you haven't already. It was a masterpiece and it got me through SO much. The show did it nothing but *disrespect*
Loved this, this scene is so powerful, is this little things, our favorite song, our friends, the moments we share, the love we receive and can give, is those little things that can make the difference and help us to hold on to life, this scene was able to put this on a more visual perspective but without losing the real meaning of it and it’s absolutely lovely
Still makes me cry. Everytime. How she fought every feeling she has and conquered her insecurities and depression with strength and courage to move on. Inspiring. Amazing actress
This whole scene was so moving and an extremely strong metaphor for dealing with grief, pain, depression, struggle, anxiety and being trapped by demons and being strong enough to overcome them. I never thought stranger things would make me cry.
Haven't had an episode of TV resonate so much with me in so long. Best to watch this one and kinda stop before watching episode 5 to just let it sink in.
This whole scene felt like someone with trauma and scars finally realizing that they're strong and there are just so many people around you trying to help you all along.
Yeah. It's just that most of the time those people, although a good number of them, are separated sporadically amongst and blending in with the people you who should've seen and cared first of all but didn't. I opened my bible a few months ago, sometimes I randomly do, and found in proverbs where it says to not turn away your neighbor in hopes that your family has a place for you. My rough understanding, anyway.
This version of Kate bush’s song scratched all the right places in my brain musically, I can’t get over how well they added to an already beautiful song
I have never shouted in my head "RUN RUN RUN" to a character more than during this moment. Crazy powerful scene, hope some rewards are handed out for this one.
Why that girl didn’t get an award will never know, she earned it, the most intense, powerful scene of the whole series she literally ran for her life, to save herself, depression, trauma of any kind is a dark journey, it’s certainly not feeling sorry for yourself, it’s a reality of what some go through and often it consumes that person and they don’t at the time always see those people in front of them that truly care,it takes a lot of work and fight in oneself to overcome the darkest of times, if you have ever suffered depression, trauma or had someone close go through it, your know nobody can fix a person fighting with there own mind other than that person, you can hold there hand whilst they fight though.
Bruh... this scene was legendary. I never get emotional, but Max's fight with depression and overcoming the sinking urge to give in right here, truly made this 25 year old man tear up. Love the show. Obsessed with this song now.
Same with me, man. The song hits a little personal as well. Lost a real good friend from high school back in January to cancer. Running up that hill was a song we used for a senior year film project. Was one of those things where I sort of forgot about that memory until after I watched this scene. Didn’t think season 4 of stranger things would mess me up as a 33 year old but it did lol. The villain of this season being a metaphor for trauma and grief and guilt puts it on an entirely different level. Couldn’t be happier with it.
I don’t think I’ve ever ‘felt’ a scene more, ever. Going to go down as an iconic cinematic moment. Shoutout Kate Bush and Sadie Sink and everyone involved in this season.
I loved this scene it seemed like a symbolism for max’s trauma/depression she feels trapped and feels like there’s no escape and she has no one there for her except her inner demons but when the gate opens and she sees her friends it’s like her realising that the people who cared for her the most and loved her were the people she kept pushing away and so it’s like her running back to the people she feels safe with and the line come on darling is like a plea not only from her friends but from herself that she can make it and that she will be fine in the end CAN I ALSO JUST SAY AMAZING ACTING AND THIS WAS SO POWERFUL AND CINEMATICALLY BEAUTIFUL WITH THE SONG CHOICE AS WELL
The Vecna so far in this season has represented many different things for certain people. For the glasses guy it was the guilt of the car accident. For Creel it represented PTSD. For The cheerleader I think an eating disorder or something like that. For Max it was depression. It’s very powerful undertones in the writing. Very smart.
@@conorculhane3432 And now for Nancy, its her friends death when she hooked up with Steve. They've been hinting that she's into Steve again, and that Steve can't find what he wants, despite most women digging him. I think Steve is going to remember Nancy's favorite song and save her, but anything can happen. She could escape and get back with Steve, stay with Jonathan, or maybe Vecna won't let her escape like she let Max get away. All I know is that it is going to be very hard to top this brilliant scene. I get goosebumps every time I think about it.
This scene is so good, and it really feels like an advancement of Max's character. Not only is she running from Vecna, she's fighting her absolute hardest to survive, and she's fueled by the thoughts and memories of her family, because let's be honest, her story is one of found family. Where most of season four, she struggled with depression, now she makes the conscious decision to live and stay with the people who love her. It's so powerful, especially from the perspective of someone who has struggled with depression and found the family I belong with.
honestly, me myself i dont understand the addition of Max in the season before, like why? no need. but i quickly like her and fond her in the 1st ep of S4 even if she's getting more dark and gloomy. i mean her character in S4 attract me more than her in S3.
Over time, Max has become one of my favorite characters. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to like her, but she has really grown on me. I mean, c'mon, how can you not like the Zoomer!
Brian Malco and Placebo covered Running up that Hill by Kate Bush in season 4 premiere of The OC. That version is really good to if you like this. I really recommend it!
“They can’t help you Max. There’s a reason you hide from them.” -Venca. Seeing Max run towards them gave us all hope. Hope from depressions, anxiety, etc. “I’M STILL HERE.”
when I was watching this I said so there just going to kill off Max like the others when I saw her running I was yelling "YES MAX RUN RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN RUNNNNNNNNNNNN GIRL RUNNN TO THEM GO MAX GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" -said by wxlfy
As someone who has battled my own mental demons, the right song at the right time can make all the difference, we all have our own hills to run up, perfect song.
This is so true. I have a song that got me through some of the darkest times in my life. Rock n’ Roll Suicide by Bowie gave me hope in a shitty time. The way Running up that Hill plays and the chorus swells as she runs for her life gives me the same feeling as hearing Bowie sing “Give me your hands, ‘cause you’re wonderful” still gives me today.
I'm pretty sure this entire season is about battling ptsd (specifically with ptsd related hallucinations), depression, and suicide. This scene was her not giving into suicide.
Max's story arc is honestly one of the best depictions of struggling with depression I've seen. The idea of giving into the dark thoughts, of surrendering to the darkness, and then remembering all the people who care for you and who you care for, it can inspire you to fight against the darkness and remind you you have something to live for.
This scene is such a powerful metaphor for depression and suicide and how hard it is to break free. Even the way Vecna kills is strikingly similar to hanging…
Yeah, it's definitely not unusual when someone hangs themselves they start to contort their limbs into grotesque ways, dislocate their jaw and have their eyes explode.
This scene is so freaking dope. Probably best scene so far in the entire show. Also emphasizes how important it was for Will to be singing Should I stay or should I go, when he was stuck in the upside down in season 1 and thinking about that memory with his brother. This scene did a lot for the show.
same...even after finishing the whole season this is the only part I felt real....like I have gone through that...that place in our mind..its real..u could feel this scene so deep..who has depression and get often anxiety attack..go through this situation every damn time...u wanna fight but u cant u wanna get out of that headspace but u cant..u wanna breath but u cant even do that..it felt like someone's chocking you...and u feel like falling in a pitch dark
@Daphne Krisp lol not just the dialogue, the entire sequence dead family, depression, stuck in limbo going to die by demon, friend call out her name, come back from near death, swim back to shore, friend ask if she is okay, "i'm here" "i'm here" friend comfort her "its okay now" "breathe" the whole damn thing is ripped directly sorry to break your bubble, but stranger things isnt exactly original, they ripped ideas from left and right, only difference is they are more popular so i guess its okay
"There's a reason you hide from them", that's a very deep phrase This scene has an incredible message for people who suffer from depression. You choose if you want to fight or let the demon inside you slowly kill you. Your favorite song can make it a lot easier for you to escape your own demon, like Max did in this scene.
Congratulations on your serotonin. Can we stop pretending that mental illness is a choice? Everyone with a mental illness IS fighting; not everyone wins. For every Max, there's like 3 poor bastards that got cornered or crushed by one of those falling rocks running for their lives.
EVEN WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR DYING INSIDE ITS ALWAYS THAT ONE SONG THAT WILL GET YOU DEEPER IN YOUR FEELINGS BUT AT THE SAME TIME HAVE YOU FEELING SAFE ABD GOOD

Her saying “you’re not really here” was the most powerful. It’s all in your mind love. Get out of your own head and fight❤️

I didn’t even think of that, thanks lol it makes more sense now
great analogy, makes this scene even deeper!
Really great thinking here!
On the second side of this album, there is a song where a little girl ice skating, falls through a crack in the ice and starts drowning,
Kate's character, is in a dream and somehow connects with the girl, Kate tries to swap places with the girl to protect her "Let's exchange the experience"
a dark voice of a man (death?) who tries to judge her. But the soul of the little girl intervenes and stops the process. Basically saying this is my death & my experience. My journey, Let me live it.
Kate wakes up from the dream and calls everyone she loves, Her mother, her brother to tell them how much she loves them.
This whole album is a trip.

Yup I figured the barrage of happy memories was her cue to die.
I was thinking the same🤣
Yeah dude they had me convinced!
Thought the same ...
Keep going and keep fighting!!
and that you can find some escapism by listening to your favourite song *chef's kiss*
Having recently lost someone to suicide, this whole episode really spoke to me. I fight with depression myslef but all I can really do is wonder about my friend. And wonder what if I had called more and showed I cared. Sometimes friends are all we have.
@@Nerfherder7249 sorry about your loss, I'm sure that your friend is in a better place and that you're doing okay
Its not that deep 🤦♂️
I wish I could watch this scene for the first time again. The chills!

This scene was so heavy because of how well Max’s character is written and portrayed. What an incredible cast
The “shit…. SHIIIIIIIT” gets me everytime its so max.
I really didn't care much about edgy max before but this season totally built up her character arc.

@@retrotechgames-diyrepair4691 Holy fuck you're an idiot. Imagine saying people choose to be depressed when brain scans legit show a completely different brain makeup.
@@retrotechgames-diyrepair4691 So you had depression and conquered it byself. Congratulations. Why then are you not so empathetic? How can I repeat your "advice" to a teenager? My daughter is the same age as Max. I do not wish your child (if you have one), to struggle with these problems. Regards.
@@retrotechgames-diyrepair4691 What the fuck is the matter with you, go fuck yourself. No one chooses to be depressed you piece of shit.
@@retrotechgames-diyrepair4691 You're just forcing your way through your depression. Don't try to act like you've done the impossible. Literally everyone who's battling with depression but has responsibilities to take care of, has to just fight through it without addressing it.
@@retrotechgames-diyrepair4691 How many years did you go to medical school for to come to that conclusion?
I really loved this season, it felt like such a smart way to tackle issues like mental health without making it feel boring or tone deaf (13 reasons why I'm looking at you). It's kind of validating to see how Vecna is shown as a real threat because it seems like people in the real world think mental health is "less important" because it's not visible or tangible like a wound. But that's what makes it dangerous, that's what makes Vecna dangerous. The lack of visible signs until it's too late is what killed these poor kids, and it's the support from others that helped Max live.
Very well said
agreed, makes alot of sense
This comment is really well written

Heartbreaking 😢
This whole scene was so moving and an extremely strong metaphor for dealing with grief, pain, depression, struggle, anxiety and being trapped by demons and being strong enough to overcome them.
I never thought stranger things would make me cry.
Haven't had an episode of TV resonate so much with me in so long. Best to watch this one and kinda stop before watching episode 5 to just let it sink in.
I felt the same and watching the scene made me more strong to fight with my anxieties
This whole scene felt like someone with trauma and scars finally realizing that they're strong and there are just so many people around you trying to help you all along.
I love this metaphor angle of seeing it. Its beautiful
Then they kill her anyways . So I guess the message is right your depression so you can just randomly die anyways
The whole season was about self doubt and past mistakes so you're not wrong

Yeah the original is good but the strings and such they added took it to another level.

Exactly
Bruh... this scene was legendary.
Couldn’t be happier with it.
same for this 25 year old too man lol

I loved this scene it seemed like a symbolism for max’s trauma/depression she feels trapped and feels like there’s no escape and she has no one there for her except her inner demons but when the gate opens and she sees her friends it’s like her realising that the people who cared for her the most and loved her were the people she kept pushing away and so it’s like her running back to the people she feels safe with and the line come on darling is like a plea not only from her friends but from herself that she can make it and that she will be fine in the end CAN I ALSO JUST SAY AMAZING ACTING AND THIS WAS SO POWERFUL AND CINEMATICALLY BEAUTIFUL WITH THE SONG CHOICE AS WELL
Great explanation!! I totally agree
cool analysis 👏🏻
RIGHT! 10/10 character development
