    I spent 2 years of my childhood in Libya as my parents worked there on infrastructure projects. As I remember it it was one of the best parts of my life and I can totally confirm that everyone was happy and everyone loved Gaddafi. He had the best social system in the world that provided for everyone as much as they want and have the lifestyle they want. From the simple shepherd to the manager of 5 hotels. Did you know that if you were admitted at Harvard University the Libyan state would pay your tuition fees? There is a reason you probably never encountered a Libyan living overseas: no one wanted to live Libya as it was a paradise!

      Yea sure everyone loved gadaffi. It is so easy for the west to raise rebels because people will definitely leave their home and shoot up their own country for a few bucks, adrenaline and promise of power. You are a fucking fool if you think people are that easily convinced to use violence. The people rose up but they did not know how to govern which led to what Libya is today doesn’t mean the revolution was wrong it was just lacklustre. Even North Koreans say they love kim Jong un now do you think North Koreans truly love their leader, or are they too afraid to speak the truth or rather they are too oblivious due to brainwashing? Use that to infer it on the Libyan people of your childhood you fucking fool

You should watch "Libya before and after Gaddafi" documentary if it hadn't been removed yet, but even then I seriously doubt you would improve, as you appear dumbed down and in total denial just beyond any possible improvement. The standard of life in Libya under this mans rule was exceptional. Look it up. Free electricity, the government paid people who had earned credentials until they found employment, provided housing and a car to newly wed couples and much, much more! He truly was a great leader.
    His people NEVER turned on him, the invasion force were NOT Libyans, they were US backed mercenaries and terrorists posing as Libyans. His people loved him.
    His downfall was decided when the western powers found out that he was planning to replace his countries currency, the US dollar, with the gold dinar and he was also encouraging other African nations to do the same. That would of ended the US's monopoly in Africa and soon made Africa richer than almost anywhere else in the world. This is why he was falsely portrayed as a dictator and a terrorist and killed.
    R.I.P Colonel Gadaffi. A true man of his people. Don't believe the lies.

    • @americanescu
      @americanescu 5 років тому +60

      Which is why they killed him! Amazing leader. And it's also equally amazing the kind of brainwashing the state-owned media in the west is doing to its citizens. You ask any idiot citizen in the west walking down any street anything about this guy and the first thing they'll say is "terrorism". It's called "manufacturing consent" for wars and murders. Very soon, if you don't agree with their "plans" regular "free" citizens will suffer consequences ... It has already started. Fake news. Google and FaceBook filtering content. You say "Israel is an apartheid nation and Zionism is a cancer on humanity" and it all gets filtered out. Gone! Just like that! It starts slow. Insidious changes ruining freedoms and free speech. Getting idiot citizenry pitted against each other, seeding hate and discord which is later used to easily manipulate the masses. . And when it all falls to shit and people (those who think for themselves) have had enough, they put martial law in place and use live ammo to quiet down dissent. All done, of course, for your own safety and protection!

      im American and hillary and Obama had him killed because he refused to attack Israel as they wanted thats also why they had our embasy burnt and killed the ambasador. he sought peace in israel between palastine and israel. that was not what Obama wanted. he was pushing UN take over of israel and sold our uranium to russia and sent john mccain to iran to deliver pallets of cash and some of the uranium that russia bought in hopes of framing russia for the nuke that Iran was supposed to build but when trump won our elections and reversed the iran nuclear deal it put a monkey wrench in the whole plan. now in our country the democratic party is trying anything to remove and destroy Trump because they know he is coming to arrest them all for treason against our nation and all the nations of the world. Trump may be tough on the world but he does actually care about not only our nation but the soverignty of all nations and is fighting the UN globalist agenda that is trying to force one world gobernment, religion, and money on us all. i love my country as i assume citizens all around the world love their respective home countries and nations. the globalist aim to destroy all that we hold dear and sacred in hopes to completely enslave us all with no hopes of fighting back if need be.if one government rules us all then who will stand up to protect us if the globalist leaders chose to eradicate and kill 75% of the world population... God never intended for us to be subjected to such enslavement and control

      It's equally unhelpful to lionize the man and act like he was some paragon. Both the man and the situation were vastly more complex than that. Gadhafi provided many services that vastly improved the quality of life for the people of Libya, but it's not as though there wasn't another side to that coin. He was also a brutal dictator. The thing that allowed those systems to function was his willingness to keep people in line by the harshest of means, and while those things may have been good, that says nothing at all of the rest of the manifold ways that modes and methods of leadership distribute down to the populace.

Many people from there who were against him, commented that he was actually the only force that kept peace and order in the country and without him it all turned into hell. Did he use very brutal methods? Probably. My sociology professors who was also a keen traveller, travelled through Libya during the Kaddafi's regime, he said in one village he was surrounded by a really large group people singing and screaming 'Allah Akbar', becoming increasingly agressive. He said that what saved his life, was 'an iron letter' from Kaddafi's administration. He showed that to Imam who was leading the group, the Imam read it, and told everyone to disperse and leave him alone. gaddafi wanted one currency for africa, one trading-union for africa, that can dictate prises like opec, for gold, diamonds, oil ect. he wanted diamonds to be certified in africa and not antwerp or israel, because they only have value with certification of the white men. all other diamonds are "blood diamonds"....
      you should watch much more videos about him, he is a very strange but intelligent guy and you can understand why the "richest of the rich" wanted him dead... he wanted to stop the exploit of africa and payed it with his life. thats why so many african countrys, and also south american, are unstable... they make a coup, install a local warlord they cheat into office and get a hole region as modern slaves. all for the ressources and new shiny things they can sell to us...

He told me Gaddafi was the best and kindest employer he had ever worked for. He had been in the business for 30 years working worldwide..He told me Gaddafi gave all newly weds 50 thousand dollars. And as you mentioned the Libyans had free healthcare & education...How shameful and frankly evil were those who were either responsible for his wicked inhumane ending or those who celebrated his murder like Hilary Clinton...Their punishment is waiting for them..

      The problem is liberation groups aren't having not much different from terrorist groups in real sense. I don't have not much to talk about but just take a look at Myanmar and their freedom and democracy liberation wars , currently. In the early days, nothing much happened until their military started to use live action ammunition and killed their own citizens (war crimes) they started to occupy high moral ground and said we fight for freedom and justice . However, if you really take a deep look inside into them, they are actually also committing war crimes as they are also killing armless civilians as long as those civilians aren't agreeing with their propaganda. Meanwhile in our international stage, we all know democracy is just a rhetoric.
      / Ironic isn't it ? Like NATO said "We NATO don't commit warcrimes" as for the guy with evidence, they put him in prison with spying charge.

Funny how they go in poor ( except for the Bushes ) and leave the White House with many millions in their ( tax evasion/fake charities ) , they call their Foundations. A very small percentage is required to be observed while the rest is theirs, tax free. What a nice gig. Of course, they sold their souls to get that gig. NO wonder Obama was crying......I remember that pic and I felt he may have been the only one who still had a soul. The others had sold theirs, except maybe Carter but as he did no real damage , he also did little to improve our condition.

    I remember when I was little, my grandparents went to Libya twice (8 years the first time and 2 years the second), the last one was right before the revolution, we are from Bulgaria (Eastern Europe) and they've told me many stories of how life was, how good was everything, how everyone treated them even though they are Europeans and foreigners, everyone was very welcoming and life was overall better than home. The government gave a lot of attention to its citizens and even foreigners, my grandparents were both medical workers (granddad was a doctor and grandma a nurse). This wasn't their first times going to Libya and they went there mainly to work but I knew they didn't want to return to Bulgaria as life here was harder. They basically used all the money they earned there to try and build something here in Bulgaria and they did. The house and apartments we all live in now were all bought thanks to them working in Libya, they never said a bad word about Gaddafi, he may have been radical but he sure knew how to take care of his people and country. Looking at the figures and the results he had over the decades, what his people actually say about him, what Libya became after his death...I would say he behaved more like a king than a dictator who understood that Libya needed a stable and steady transition period to go from colony to a form of democracy and his plan for the United States of Africa. Democracy and freedom can exist in other forms than the traditional western ones. Africa is unique and has to find a tailored manner to solve it’s problems. Colonialism was the true dictator that perpetuated corruption and inequality. Gaddafi was dangerous to said colonial powers because he found that tailored recipe which worked for his country.
