19:22 Hey it’s my layout! Thanks for featuring it. You got a nice clip of me blissfully unaware that my Gordon is on the ground lol. I see me trying to fix the Cranky I had next to the big Thomas. Anyhow, thanks again for featuring it!
I enjoyed your video! You always capture interesting items in an appropriate amount of time. I like the closeup shots that are of picture frame quality. There were some fair price points. Hopefully some of high prices were negotiable. Thank you for taking the time to record and share this video for those of us who were not able to attend.
Thanks so much. I try to take decent pictures and include the prices. I wish every seller had a business card I could include. I think a lot of the prices are negotiable. I rarely offer what they are asking, most of the time they take it. Most sellers are realistic and happy to deal.
It's been my experience most prices are negotiable if you're paying with cash. Especially if the exhibitor is a part-time dealer or a hobbyist like yourself.
Thanks. Yeah the shows wouldn’t be the same without all the vendors bringing their goods and the clubs setting up the layouts. I for one s appreciate it!
Thanks, very cool, Dave. Yep that's a screen cleaner. All drool worthy stuff. I'll take one of everything. Whoa! I'm gonna need to go back and check out that bus. I might be into trains but that Greyhound bus was sweet. Crap! Now I'm gonna need a bigger place.
Thanks Dave...if it wasn't for your filming of these great shows, train fans like myself wouldn't know what's out there. Well done and appreciated. 👍👍👍
Awesome review of this show! Lots of cool trains there I see including some of the ones I have in my collection like that gray Lionel 259e and Yeah I agree with you the conrail emd gp30 will definitely look good on your layout.
Thanks for bringing us along Dave! Man, there was some VERY good stuff for sale there, I'd have had a tough time keeping the cabbage in the wallet with all those tasty articles to choose from. What REALLY caught my eye believe it or not was that Palisades Amusement Park poster at 26:00! I'd have been VERY tempted to grab that one but I've got no idea what I'd do with it! And I wouldn't get upset over the things you passed on like those B&O passenger cars. They're out there and there'll be other shows. Personally I'd like to find the MPC/LTI Lionel green B&O cars that go with my "President Washington" Pacific. I haven't found them yet but I'm patient. Great show video, thanks for posting!
Yeah I considered that Palisades Amusement park poster, but I figured an old one would be cooler, besides, like you said, where would it go!? I won’t get down about anything I pass up, or not for long anyway. I know I can always find something good
2417 missing the Vermont Milk reefer car. I have two of these sets... Sprung truck on all of the rail cars except the caboose, back when that was not the normal thing 1978. It was the first Lionel 6 wheel drive diesel, New for Lionel and MPC.
Upon seeing the pictures of the original Lionel ALCO's and switchers. I never thought much about it till I got my first Kusan FA ALCO and it had no clear plastic for the windows. My Lionel MPC ALCO I got in 1974 had clear plastic for the windows. And I got a cheep original Lionel Texas Special ALCO that was a striped down version of what I thought they all were. Now I see many of them were made that way. I bet they ran cooler. The F3's had windows with plastic!
Just watching anyone who does a recap of their experience from this show brings back so many memories. Also 495 is not a bad price for a prewar Lionel M10000
@@dagryffynhobby Model railroading / train collecting is popular all over the country but I think it's a combination of population density, the strong model railroading culture, and the proximity of so many dealers both full and part-time in the Northeast that makes the shows up there as good as they are. We've got some good club-sponsored shows down here in Virginia and Greenberg does come down to the Washington DC (Northern Virginia) area but nothing like the shows up North. Not complaining though, I've done all right.
I did not. I have too much junk box stuff already that I need to work on. I need to fix it all up and sell it so I can get back to picking through those boxes!
Great video Dave. I didn’t really get a lot of pics or video, but I had a great time and got some nice deals.
Thanks Corey. It was definitely a good show.

That is such a fun layout! I also didn’t realize until editing that Gordon was stuck! I absolutely love the stacked ovals!
nicely done video, thanks for sharing
Thanks so much. Thanks for watching

Nice video! I have always admired the guys and gals that lug all that product in and out of shows! They work hard and together present a nice show!

I enjoyed your trip to Greenberg's Train Show. Thank you for recording the video to take us there.🚆🚋
Glad you enjoyed it! I’m happy to be able to go and share it with everyone
Your welcome.@@dagryffynhobby
Awesome trains and rolling stock & layout
Glad you enjoyed the vid.
Geez Dave did you take pictures? Wow. Great show. Thank you for sharing.
I sure did! Couldn’t believe how many I had when I went to edit. I had some coffee that morning so it might have been fueled by caffeine!
Wish I was there looked like alot of fun there and great deals
A lot of fun and great deals to be had!

Glad you enjoyed the vid. Lots of great stuff at this show for sure
The powered two groove 19:18 trains look like the same push train type track I first had as a child. Cool to have powered ones on there.
They were neat, I’m pretty sure I had something like that as well.
Thanks Dave...if it wasn't for your filming of these great shows, train fans like myself wouldn't know what's out there.
Well done and appreciated. 👍👍👍
Thanks! I love being able to get to these shows and share it all with those who can’t.
Thanks for bringing us along Dave! Really Kool, Happy Railroading kid!
Glad you enjoyed it! 👍
Great review of the show I saw some NYC Budd cars I would have got if I was there
Thanks. NYC Budd cars would be nice 👍

Thanks! The 259e is a classic!

The spring trucks are so much nicer than the plastic ones. The first six wheel, interesting!

I feel like they got progressively cheaper as details were eliminated. I do wonder if some of the detail parts could be installed from other models.
Love the layouts. I’ve been getting into Lego playsets lately and it was fun watching the Lego train.
Thanks! I love Lego. We will be building a Lego layout in the house soon, buildings, trains, etc. can’t wait!
Thanks for the shoutout!
No problem. The layout that you brought to the show was amazing! Nice work.
@@dagryffynhobby Thank! I've posted some new video on my UA-cam @Rockytrains
That 547 Marx Railway Express Baggage car is a steal.
I should have picked it up, I like the black print better than the white
See you in Wayne NJ coming this weekend at the Wayne PAL. My hometown.
Great!
@@dagryffynhobby I can smell the smoke pellets already. 😎
I seen the Conahey Rail custom run Bradys Trains SD45 locomotives in the video.
You caught that did you! A gorgeous engine and stellar guy 😉

👍
Great video! Get that B&O switcher
Thanks! A B&O switcher would be nice
23:52 THAT DL&W 807 WAS ONE OF THE E8s I WORKED ON!!!!! MTH MODELED THEM!
That’s awesome!
Nice
Thanks
11:42 YEAH!!!!!
They were nice looking cars!
nice
Thanks
Nobody has train shows in SW Florida anymore 😢
DeLand has the best show in the area , but there is nothing that compares to the shows in the northeast, in my opinion.
It’s one of the things that keeps me from wanting to move away from this area!

It is nice ehh
Marx guy here, in the " Let`s make a Deal" Junk box, did you jump in?
I did not. I have too much junk box stuff already that I need to work on. I need to fix it all up and sell it so I can get back to picking through those boxes!
looks like there are a lot of nice trains on the market these days, makes it hard to keep the money in the wallet.
You got that right! There was so much at this show that I wanted!
Sigh - maybe next year.
It’s a good show to get to if you can!
Too much O. O is not for real railroading HO is the only way to go!
Ok then! I guess I should toss it all then and start over!
