Taxidermy process of assembling and painting a rainbow trout caught in the upper region of Fall River, California. Presented by Trinity Mountain Arts. Trinitymountainarts.com
Did you use metallic gold, silver and red? Turned out really nice. I've been wanting to try some powdered pigments. Not sure where to start with the metallic stuff.
I have subscribed to your channel. Is there any reproducton companies that have there forms in stock for a faster turn round time. I have bought from lake country but it take so long for the turn time to get your mounts back to your customers. I like there product but it takes several months to get your reproduction done. I am a fish taxidermist just starting to get ino reproductions. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills as a fish taxidermist.
If you purchase fish blanks from McKenzie Taxidermy, they come really fast. They usually have them in stock. Go to their website and look for Arp 3D for the best blanks.
Really, really nice work! Thanks for putting it out there!
Nice job
Beautiful work. Hope to see more of your fish replica painting videos.
Is your scale tipping pearl ex powders as well? Didn't see that in the video but it has a really nice natural look.
Excellent,,, where do you get these powders

Yes, the red goes over the silver base color. Red Russet- a metallic red pearl-ex pigment.
