i want to try and follow this video to paint with the same color but i want to ask when you apply the clear coat which of the three bottles did you used
The clear coat it's a mix of the three bottles, 3 parts of clear, 1 part of activator and 1 part of thinner. You have to mixe it in a very clean jar and avoid using anything that contains rubber, like a syringe, to don't contaminate the mixture.
@@focusformodelers5789 thank you for your answer also can you tell me what do you mean when you say 3 parts of clear, 1 part of activator and 1 part of thinner
Hello!! Thank you for your comment. This paint comes allready pre-thinned. You don't have to add any thinner as it comes ready to use. Only make sure to shake it very well before painting.
@@focusformodelers5789 How many ml of the 2nd bottle you put ? I used 2ml for the first coat of the 2nd bottle. But I don't know if I need to put more...
Hola, nosotros lo vendemos en formato Hobby en el siguiente enlace: gravity-colors.com/model-car-paints/139-06-gc-2313/ Tendría que comprar varias unidades para poder pintar algo más grande. Gracias.
Thank you for your question. We have used Gravity's Spain primer, it works really well, provides the best surface to paint later. You can give it a smooth sand (with 3000 grit sponge) for the best result and smoothness. Here is the link: gravity-colors.com/primers/101-gc-303-light-surface-primer/
But, Did you use firs bottle "A"? (its like a purple colour). If you did so, and then you apply bottle "B", Yes it looks like a blueish colour, but when you apply the clear coat you will get the special colour shifting. If you want to be more secure, I will apply another wett coat of the bottle "b", to make sure you will get the colour shiffting. I hope I have helped you. ;)
No, it's not necessary but gray is usually the standard colour. Gravity's Spain has two different tones of gray primer, it works well with any of the two.
Hello!, It´s a Tamiya tool, specially designed to paint car model kits. Here I leave you a link to buy it. www.carminahobbys.com/accesorios-aerografia/7434-soporte-para-pintar-tamiya-4950344745227.html
The real car that's in the video sadly is a terrible paint job. Granted the Clearcoat has good depth but the Midnight Purple base is blotchy and uneven. It by the looks hasn't had a low pressure technique coat once full coverage has been achieved.
@@focusformodelers5789 did you paint the GTR at the begining of the video? The model that was painted is way better than the car at the start and considering to buy the paint and do the process as oem nissan, in my country is $15k then add labour on top of that too. You would expect perfection in a vehicle paint job for that high of a price.
Very nice paint job
Thank you!!
That is a hot color
Thank you🥰
El brillo de las pinturas bicapa es espectacular. Gracias por el video.

Magnifique bravo
Thank you!
Se podría hacer con la boquilla de 0.2?? Gracias!
No es aconsejable, demasiado estrecha.

Beautiful
I love this awesome paint.
I have a question, you use a thinner at 50/50 ? I don't see any information for the thinner ...
Thank you ;)

@@focusformodelers5789 im so stupid
I accide tly bought midnight blue instead of midnight purple
But thanks for the help
First color should be gray?
No, it's not necessary but gray is usually the standard colour. Gravity's Spain has two different tones of gray primer, it works well with any of the two.
Would I be able to use a different kind of brand for the primer? For example tamiya lacquer?
Tamiya lacquer should be fine but we recommend Gravity primer as it's ready to support the strong solvents of the body paints.
What chassis do you have under it?

Yeah you can 100% see how uneven that car is. Its all "splotchy/spotty" terrible job for a paint that costs alot of money
Terrible? Might not be perfect, but terrible...
I try my best. Do you have any sample on how it should be?
